In the present times, the traffic condition in most urban settings is plagued by congestion and the problem of traffic management during night time conditions poses even greater challenges due to the various factors such as poor street light illumination, improper urban planning etc. Under these conditions, the visibility of vehicles and other objects on the streets are quite poor. Hence, image contrast enhancement techniques are required to be applied on such night time traffic imaging datasets for extraction and analysis of information. In this study, we compare the different state-of-the-art image contrast enhancement techniques suitable for the images acquired under low light and the results are compared and presented.","PeriodicalId":163288,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computing Methodologies and Communication (ICCMC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126984344","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Also the assessment of choroidal thickness from Enhanced Depth Imaging (EDI-OCT) image is an important basis for diagnosing. Mostly this is done by manual labeling which is a tedious and complicated process especially when the numbers of images are more and thus automatic segmentation techniques should be developed to assist the ophthalmologist in diagnosis and monitoring of eye disease effectively. The segmentation of both Bruch Membrane (BM) and the Choroid-Sclera Interface (CSI) layer can be done by Choroidal segmentation. Biometric-based validation is the programmed personality check, in view of individual physiological or behavioral qualities, for example, fingerprints, voice, face and iris. Since biometrics is amazingly hard to produce and can't be overlooked or stolen, Biometric confirmation offers a helpful, exact, key and high secure option for a person, which makes it has preferences over conventional cryptography-based verification plans. In the current years, this biometrics has turned out to be most identifiable strategy for perceiving the individual in all round fields and is picking up unmistakable quality in the guard, managing an account, retail, buyer item, examinations, and so forth…. In this specific situation, a genuine exertion is being made to build up some novel strategy for distinguishing a man in type of building up a one of a kind biometric recognizable proof framework that has got some great preferences over the current techniques in the present situation. Quick preparing calculations are being created by keeping into mind the speed of calculation (3–4 secs). The colossal database is being considered to begin with, trailed by the pre-preparing, division, standardization, include extraction and the coordinating situation with the last coordinated outcomes. The elements of the information eye picture are contrasted and that of the components that is as of now put away in the database and on the off chance that it coordinates, the relating eye picture is recognized else it stays unidentified. In our exploration work, since a bitwise correlation is essential, we have picked the hamming separation is decided for recognizable proof. One preferred standpoint of the approach created in the exploration work considered is the speed of calculation and the straightforwardness of the biometric acknowledgment framework grew with the goal that it is easy to use and any layman can work it. Mostly techniques like wavelet and discrete cosine transform have been implemented. Several techniques have been developed for lossy and lossless image compression, several techniques were developed. Image edges have limitations in capturing them if we make use 1-D wavelet transform simultaneously in 2 dimensions. This is because wavelet transform cannot effectively represent straight line discontinuities and be reconstructed in a proper manner like that of curvelet transform. The Curvelet Transform is more suitable for compressing images, which has more curved portions. Fast discrete curvelet transform is implemented is used that is implemented using stationary wavelet transform. The proposed method is tested on various medical images and the result shows better performance parameters like Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Compression Ratio (CR) and Mean Square Error.","PeriodicalId":163288,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computing Methodologies and Communication (ICCMC)","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115908140","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In certain situation if engineers need more input and output combination than they must compulsory uses another PLC. And the main problem was both PLC is not going to work together. For overcoming this problem, so that I decided to work on that problem. For that certain situation, I have considered one application based on two PLC communication systems. In which use two PLC and try to make them as double inputs and double outputs combination. They will work together. In which I have considering one application for two PLC communications. Particularly in this application have considering four tank in which three tanks will be full previously and keep one tank empty. If I suppose to not keeping any of tank empty than at a onetime only washing or heating tank going work. So, we cannot save the time. so, for saving time purpose we are considering one spare tank the most important tank is washing and heating and another two tank for material loading and unloading process.","PeriodicalId":163288,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computing Methodologies and Communication (ICCMC)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133731443","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the present work VTLN has been implemented to reduce the effects of inter speaker variabilities and sub-band spectral subtraction has been used to reduce the effects of environmental variabilities. The effectiveness of VTLN in noisy and noise-free environment has been evaluated for Assamese vowel recognition system. The Assamese vowel recognition system has been implemented using Hidden Markov Model (HMM). Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficient (MFCC) has been used as feature vector. Experimented result shows that the performance of the system improved considerably after applying VTLN technique in noise-free and some of the noisy conditions.","PeriodicalId":163288,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computing Methodologies and Communication (ICCMC)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124283648","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Mining sentiments in Malayalam come with a lot of issues and challenges. As compared to English, Malayalam is a free order and morphologically rich language, which adds complexity while handling the user- generated content. Much of the research in Malayalam sentiment analysis has been done using different supervised learning techniques. Although the Supervised learning methods provide better accuracy compared to dictionary-based approach, supervised learning method cannot perform well without sufficient training examples. The accuracy of supervised learning method is directly related to the quality of training corpus created. In Dictionary based approach a sentiment lexicon is created from a pre-annotated seed list of words and its synonyms and antonyms obtained from WorldNet for the purpose of classifying the sentiment. Compared to supervised learning techniques dictionary based approach takes less processing time. But there is no sentiment lexicon readily available for the Malayalam language. So in order to perform sentiment analysis by using lexicon based approach, a sentiment lexicon should be created. In this work, a lexicon based document-level sentiment analysis system is proposed for Malayalam language. Dictionary based approach is used to develop the Malayalam sentiment lexicon. This is because, dictionary based method is typically more efficient than other approaches and include all the words. Besides, dictionary approach is not domain specific that means it is applicable to all domains. The proposed system gives an accuracy of 87.5% for sentence level classification and 90% for document-level classification.","PeriodicalId":163288,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computing Methodologies and Communication (ICCMC)","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124533336","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
