Reading and writing are constructs that have accompanied human beings since the appearance of the codex (ancient handwritten books), through the printing press. Nowadays, digital media, and even printed media, have great relevance, especially if we talk about informative vehicles possessors and transmitters of knowledge, which have an audience with significant reading and writing habits. The call is then to learn to make a joint and avant-garde use of print and digital media to strengthen the development of reading, writing, and reading comprehension from the school environment.","PeriodicalId":162221,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Education and Pedagogy","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129265428","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are four TPACK components that are at the perception level and three components are at the conception level. Correspondingly, three significant differences found in the average of: (a) Teachers’ TPACK between each study groups, (b) Teachers’ TPACK between each group of teachers with different teaching experiences, and (c) Teachers’ TPACK between each group of teachers with different training experiences. In short, both teaching and training experience are able to distinguish teachers’ TPACK and have a positive influence on teachers’ TPACK.  Further research is needed by considering the importance of learning experience and the educational stakeholders should ensure that teacher professional developments are applicative TPACK programs.","PeriodicalId":162221,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Education and Pedagogy","volume":"186 ","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114049309","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It involves real classroom teaching which leads to most students experience anxiety which interferes with their performance. This study was planned to examine the relationship between university student teachers’ anxiety levels towards TP with their self-determined learner’s personality and with academic performance in TP. The study involved two Kenyan universities; University of Kabianga and Laikipia University. Study population was 800 student teachers undertaking their TP exercise. A random sample of 105 students were involved. Research design was descriptive-correlational research design while research method was cross-sectional analytical survey. Three tools were used to correct data; The Student Teacher Anxiety Scale (STAS), Teaching Practice Assessment Score Sheet (TPASS) and Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ). Pearson correlation coefficient, r, was used to test the relationship between student teachers’ anxiety, personal characteristics, and academic achievement. Results indicate that; academic achievement in TP exercise and TP anxiety are high, there is a weak statistically significant negative relationship between TP anxiety and academic achievement and the negative relationship is statistically significant in evaluation and professional preparation anxieties only. Furthermore, there is a statistically insignificant relationship between learner personality and academic achievement in TP.","PeriodicalId":162221,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Education and Pedagogy","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133029234","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research uses mixed methods, namely a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods. We used quantitative research methods to analyze the results of student’s creative thinking skills in the application of RBL-STEM, while qualitative research methods were used to analyze the learning activities and portrait phases of students’ creative thinking skills. The research respondents consisted of two classes, namely the control class and the experimental class. The control class has 25 students, and the experimental class has 30 students. We used tests, interviews, and questionnaires to collect data in this study. The results showed that the independent sample t-test on the post-test scores of the control class and the experimental class showed significant differences. This is due to the value of sig (2-tailed) is 0.000 (p=<0.05). It can be concluded that the application of the RBL learning model with the STEM approach can improve students' creative thinking skills in solving the problem of using chitosan as a natural preservative for processed meat. The rest, based on the results of observations on student learning activities, 98.25% of students in the experimental class lies in the “very active” category.","PeriodicalId":162221,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Education and Pedagogy","volume":"158 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124429153","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They have strong personalities, rich feelings, and have the youth and vitality of art students. Therefore, it is of great relevance to develop career education based on the main characteristics of music major college students. For music majors, there are relatively various career paths, such as music education, performance, broadcasting, media, and other industries. Therefore, the “employment issue” for most music majors has become one of the more popular topics at present.\u0000This paper explores the current career planning as well as career awareness of music college students by using 259 college students enrolled in the Department of Music of Inner Mongolia Normal University in 2017 and 2018 as the main research subjects. The results show that only 6% of music major college students know a lot about employment policies, and still 38% of music major college students know less about employment policies as well as career awareness. The results show that the overall status of career planning development of music majors is at an intermediate level and still needs to be improved.\u0000Therefore, it is very meaningful and important for universities to strengthen the career planning education for music majors’ career awareness.","PeriodicalId":162221,"journal":{"name":"European Journal of Education and Pedagogy","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128457003","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
