As a model for living systems, Capra Cognitive Framework introduces the main components of living systems. In this paper, functionality of the immune system is going to be perused and simulated through considering this framework. Biological Agents with autopoiesis, evolution and inheritance capability have been introduced and used for simulation. Biological Agents also have the abilities of learning, communication and adaptation. Through the time, inheritance and autopoiesis ability, have led the agent to find emergence and evolution. The effect of some parameters on system's robustness has been illustrated in simulation results.","PeriodicalId":161995,"journal":{"name":"2011 UkSim 13th International Conference on Computer Modelling and Simulation","volume":"317 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123388414","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recent models have exploited unit quaternions to eliminate singularities when modelling orientations between limbs at a joint. This has led to the development of quaternion based joint constraint validation and correction methods. In this paper a novel method for implicitly modelling unit quaternion joint constraints using Self Organizing Maps (SOMs) is proposed which attempts to address the limitations of current constraint validation and correction approaches. Initial results show that the resulting SOMs are capable of modelling regular spherical constraints on the orientation of the limb.","PeriodicalId":161995,"journal":{"name":"2011 UkSim 13th International Conference on Computer Modelling and Simulation","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126551979","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These measured signaling messages can be obtained from each mobile station(MS) by the use of a monitoring system during the given call in passive manner. In this paper, we describe a vulnerability aspect of cellular networks to propose a new hybrid localization algorithm. In proposed algorithm a monitoring system can easily be informed about the location of MS by intercepting the air interface signaling messages. We show by triangulation that the proposed algorithm can outperforms the angle-of-arrival (AOA)technique without any need for using array antennas and line-of-sight (LOS) propagation environment.","PeriodicalId":161995,"journal":{"name":"2011 UkSim 13th International Conference on Computer Modelling and Simulation","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122420747","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As it is well accepted, data embedding in the low and mid frequency parts of an image have better robustness under compression attacks than high frequency parts. So our method embeds more data in low frequency coefficients than high frequency coefficients with use of scaler QIM method. Also the encoder employs local criteria for selecting the coefficients for embedding. The hidden data can be recovered reliably under attacks, such as jpeg or jpeg2000 compression.","PeriodicalId":161995,"journal":{"name":"2011 UkSim 13th International Conference on Computer Modelling and Simulation","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133695840","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the suggested scheme, embedding is carried out in cumulative form in spatial domain and ICA is used for watermark extraction. For extraction there is no need to access the original image or the watermark, and extraction is carried out only with two watermarked images. Experimental results show that the new method has better quality than famous methods [1], [2], [3] in spatial or frequency domain and is robust against various attacks. Noise addition, resizing, low pass filtering, multiple marks, gray-scale reduction, rotation, JPEG compression, and cropping are some attacks which a reconsidered in our extensive simulations to demonstrate the proposed algorithm performance.","PeriodicalId":161995,"journal":{"name":"2011 UkSim 13th International Conference on Computer Modelling and Simulation","volume":"41 5","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114017361","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
