Complex network theory provides a new way to study the characteristics of large-scale software. Unfortunately, most current studies consider only one or a limited number of factors affecting software structure, rendering inaccurate the results of mining the key classes of software. Thus, we propose an approach using various complex network metrics to automatically identify key classes from global and local aspects. From the global aspect, the location of a class and its ability to control the information flow of software are mainly considered. From local aspects, we focus on the interactions of classes with their neighbors, as well as the complexity of the class itself. Experiments are performed on two java open-source projects. Results show that this approach can accurately identify key classes compared with existing literature.","PeriodicalId":161789,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Conference on System Reliability and Safety (ICSRS)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115080739","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are used to store a wide variety of chemicals, which can be flammable, toxic and/or dangerous for the environment. It is straightforward to understand the importance of keeping their integrity and reliability, as any loss of containment could, in fact, lead to a severe process safety incident. With the objective to keep the product inside the tank as designed, this paper is organized in chapter reflecting the typical and logical steps to follow in the mechanical integrity plans for tanks. The first section will present the typical corrosion mechanisms and failure modes of the tanks' main components. The second step, once the phenomenon is well understood, is to try to prevent it, so some design criteria will be proposed. Once the design is selected, it's important to keep it efficient, this is why a chapter will be dedicated to the best in class inspection techniques. Finally, should a failure occur (the probability will never be zero by definition) it is important to identify the problem and rapidly address it via mitigative solutions. This is the object of the last chapter dedicated to the development of an inspection plan.","PeriodicalId":161789,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Conference on System Reliability and Safety (ICSRS)","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114918928","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In recent years, as well as efficiency for motors, there is a growing need for research on life expectancy of motors. It is considered impossible to calculate the acceleration coefficient by increasing the rotational load or temperature load as the acceleration stress in the motor system because the temperature of the copper exceeds the wire thermal class rating. In general, the failure of bearings in a motor accounts for most of the total failure factor. This paper describes the development of the procedure for the lifetime estimation of the 12 kW three-phase squirrel-cage induction motor. The test to predict bearing life was conducted and the result was compared with the bearing life expectancy by ISO 281. Finally, a lifetime correction coefficient was calculated.","PeriodicalId":161789,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International Conference on System Reliability and Safety (ICSRS)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129732277","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
