To counter this problem a method is proposed in this paper, This method firstly used the bearing measurements of two passive sensors to estimate the initial range interval of targets, which are divided into several subintervals. At each subinterval an extended Kalman filter and a multihypothesis method are used to estimate the state of targets. At the same time the bearing measurements are associated. Combined state estimate is obtained as weighted sums of the state estimate of each subinterval. One of the main difficulties is to optimize the dilemma between the false positives and false negatives present in the segmented image. We propose here a new approach to this problem. The idea is to exploit the complementary results from different segmentation algorithms as well as a priori knowledge to reduce false positives. The method starts with modeling inaccuracy about the borders of the segmented regions. The logic rules are then defined in order to combine the white matter image and lesions within the framework of evidence theory. We use random and unpredictable characteristics of non-rigid objects in the algorithm. The algorithm consists of three steps: spatial segmentation by MRF (Markov random field) modeling, temporal segmentation by velocity vector, and the fusion of spatial and temporal segmentation. The presented algorithm has good performance in the segmentation of a non-rigid object with large deformable rate. It can be used as an effective non-rigid object segmentation algorithm for automatic VOP (video object plane) generation. Joint detection (JD) and smart antenna (SA) are effective techniques which can be used to combat these interference. For the uplink of a time slotted CDMA system, most of the intracell interference can be eliminated by using joint detection with coherent receiver antenna diversity. So, the intercell interference plays the most important role on the system performance. In this paper, space time joint processing schemes for time slotted CDMA uplink are investigated. First, JD algorithms with coherent receiver antenna diversity (CRAD) are given. Then, some algorithms for estimating the intercell interference covariance matrix are studied, and a novel partition algorithm is proposed. It first employs wavelet descriptor moments to represent the contour. Second, a contour matching criteria is presented based on a principle of minimum distance classifier; algorithms of contour matching are given according to closed and unclosed contours. Finally, control points are located according. to matched contours, and consistency checking is employed to remove mismatched control points. The image transformation model and parameter estimation using the rule of least root mean-square error (RMSE) are discussed. The method is accurate, robust and fast, and has been tested on many images. Generally, a moving target moves in the way of segment constant acceleration. Thus, its echo can be approximately regarded as a chirp signal, which is a typical nonstationary signal. The traditional Fourier transform cannot handle chirp signals. Therefore, time frequency analysis is a more appropriate method than FFT in such an application. Furthermore, WVD have the best time frequency centralization performance among all the time frequency distributions. Instead of FFT, we can employ WVD to analyze the echo of moving targets. WVD for multiple chirp signals, however, produces inevitably some cross terms, which lead to the appearance of false targets. A method of radar moving target detection and estimation based on the fractional Fourier transform is proposed in this paper. Compared with the MTD based on WVD, the MTD based on FRFT need not consider the cross-term interference in the case of multi moving targets, and therefore reduces the computation burden, simplifies the processing procedure and improves the performance of detection. One uses edge detection and binary rank order filtering (BROF) techniques for the cases of normal luminance, the other utilizes weighted mean filter and region identification to detect regions of vehicle tail lights in the evening or at night. Compared with usual speaker identification systems, it requires much less speech data but still maintains high performance. In the implementation of this speaker identification system, we introduced several approaches to improve the effect of speech segmentation and used a speaker verification method based on a common codebook, HMM and speaker relative threshold (SRTHD). A novel method of integrating the speaker identification with the face recognition to verify a person's identity is also presented.
