In this paper, we apply linear zero forcing (ZF) detection and present an optimal power allocation strategy for multi-LED phase-shifted pulse amplitude modulation based indoor VLC multi-input single-output (VLC-MISO) systems, while preserving a low-complexity. Meanwhile, a closed-form allocation solution to the optimization problem under optical power constraint is obtained and the optimal design criterion is the max-SEP minimization. We compare the proposed optimal power allocation scheme based on ZF detection with the uniform scheme of the ZF and maximum likelihood (ML) detection in a set of numerical simulations. The simulation results show that the proposed power allocation strategy outperforms the uniform scheme and is very close to ML detection in some special channel scenarios, while improving the condition number of the equivalent channel.","PeriodicalId":159643,"journal":{"name":"2016 Sixth International Conference on Information Science and Technology (ICIST)","volume":"930 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116425180","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

More recently, at CHES 2015, a lightweight block cipher Simeck is proposed, which has adopted the merits from both SIMON and SPECK. However, the security level on Simeck against integral cryptanalysis has never been evaluated. This paper firstly proposes some theoretical and experimental integral distinguishes on Simeck. More specifically, 12/14/16-round theoretical integral distinguishers on Simeck32/48/64 and some 15-round experimental integral distinguishers on Simeck32 are firstly presented. With these integral distinguishers, Simeck32/48/64 reduced to 21/21/24 rounds respectively can be attacked with integral cryptanalysis.","PeriodicalId":159643,"journal":{"name":"2016 Sixth International Conference on Information Science and Technology (ICIST)","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116396389","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Event-related potential (ERP) is an efficient way to achieve the BCI system. One of important issues for ERP classification is the under sample problem, that is the feature dimension is very high while the sample number is very strictly limited. In this paper, we introduce a P300 feature extraction and classification framework using the sparse optimal score method for discriminative analysis by generalized elastic net model. In order to break the curse of dimension, regularized estimation of within-class covariance matrix is achieved and ℓ1 penalty is applied to learn sparse discriminant vectors. The optimization problem is solved by the alternating least square procedure. We test the proposed framework on P300 target detection task and experimental results indicate that it is able to improve the classification accuracy in P300-based BCI system. The efficient features extracted by our proposed framework provide overall better P300 classification accuracy than several baseline methods especially in the single trial and few training samples case.","PeriodicalId":159643,"journal":{"name":"2016 Sixth International Conference on Information Science and Technology (ICIST)","volume":"149 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123279530","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to facilitate the design of the reward function, ship path-following control is transformed into calculating a reference course to reduce cross tracking error by the methods of coordinate compression and drift angle compensation. For the purpose of overcoming the curse of dimensionality caused by the continuous state spaces and action spaces of ships, the multilayer perception (MLP) neural networks are used to approximate the value function. Finally, the simulation with the environmental disturbances including wind, wave and ocean current, is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness and the performance of the proposed scheme.","PeriodicalId":159643,"journal":{"name":"2016 Sixth International Conference on Information Science and Technology (ICIST)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128686668","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Different from traditional ones, the perspectives of the routing are updated in terms of the quality of information accessing, the types of resources, the dominant driver and the expected consequences. The human capital is connected to form the social capital to resolve the routing problems. Although the human capital dominates the particular information system, it is difficult to capture it to fulfill requirements of users. For that, the social capital, which is shaped in the three graphs, i.e., the data, the channel and the human, is leveraged to perform the primary tasks since the human capital is difficult to be exploited directly. Those graphs represent the comprehensive perspectives to the environment and they are constructed in accordance with users' information accessing behaviors. In the early phase, the seed graphs are constructed to initialize the system. The routing does not expect to find their exactly required information resources. Instead, it aims to provide users with relevant consequences through exploring the nearby human capital.","PeriodicalId":159643,"journal":{"name":"2016 Sixth International Conference on Information Science and Technology (ICIST)","volume":"139 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128891719","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

When a number of different gaze interactive systems are used continuously, the calibration process would take the trouble. Due to the accuracy of interaction relying on the calibration of the camera which is used, in this paper, we proposed a method to transmit the personal calibration information based on camera calibration. The system devotes to deliver the personal calibration information between gaze interactive systems so that only one calibration is needed for the multiple gaze interactive systems. Given the calibrated cameras in the interactive systems, personalized eye parameters calibrated on one camera can be transmitted to any of the other cameras one by one. When one of the other cameras is used, the personal calibration process can be omitted without lowering the accuracy of the premise of the calculation much, where implements multiple interactive systems to realize the seamless transfer to use. Experiment between the two cameras is explored to validate the method we proposed. The experimental results show that the method is feasible and reliable.","PeriodicalId":159643,"journal":{"name":"2016 Sixth International Conference on Information Science and Technology (ICIST)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129840735","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
