In order to obtain low PAPR signals, we report and experimentally demonstrate a phase modulated OFDM system. The system can be reach 1.2Gbit/s under the standard illuminance level. And the bit-error ratio (BER) of the received data is under 3.8 × 10-3, which is within the limit of common forward error correction (FEC) coding. The transmission distance can be reach 1.5m, which is the most remarkable in VLC OFDM systems.","PeriodicalId":159643,"journal":{"name":"2016 Sixth International Conference on Information Science and Technology (ICIST)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126991015","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Here the correlation of messages between space and speed from different vehicles can be computed by fuzzy reasoning. And a group of optimal weight can be found using the least square method for fusing the correlated messages, which describe the same traffic event. Simulation result shows that the messages compression ratio is 80% over 500 vehicles at least. And proposed algorithm not only has fewer total messages dissemination, but also has smaller mean square errors and higher messages successful delivery ratio than the arithmetic mean based fusion method. Therefore, messages dissemination can be increased.","PeriodicalId":159643,"journal":{"name":"2016 Sixth International Conference on Information Science and Technology (ICIST)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134485637","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Design of an efficient classifier is considerably important for the realization of a brain-computer interface (BCI) system based on motor imagery. This study introduces a Bayesian extreme learning machine (BELM) based method for accurate classification of motor imagery. By combing ELM and Bayesian inference, BELM achieves the smallest norm of output weights with automatically estimated regularization for alleviating the possible overfitting during calibration procedure. Effectiveness of the BELM-based method is validated on a public BCI dataset, in comparison with other two competing methods.","PeriodicalId":159643,"journal":{"name":"2016 Sixth International Conference on Information Science and Technology (ICIST)","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130394949","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The optimal scheduling model based on the pulse interleaving technique was established, and the chaos adaptively genetic algorithm was used to search solutions. Specifically, a line-of-sight based path following controller is firstly derived to force each vehicle to follow a parameterized path around the target. Then, a distributed path variable coordination control law is developed based on a cyclic pursuit approach such that the vehicles can evenly spread on a closed curve, which takes the circular formation pattern as a special case. Moveover, the time-varying sideslip angle due to environmental disturbances can be exactly identified by a reduced-order extend state observer. The input-to-state stability of the closed-loop network system is established via cascade theory. In this paper, in order to finding the characteristics of better matching degree between normal and whispered speech, we propose a spectrum sparse-based approach to obtain the feature of speech spectrum structure. We construct a hidden Markov model based speech recognition baseline system to compare the performance of different features. Experimental results show that the proposed feature can perform better on whispered speech recognition based on the speech recognition system trained by normal speech. This means that the recommended feature is better able to express the similarity between the normal speech and the whisper in the spectral topology structure.","PeriodicalId":159643,"journal":{"name":"2016 Sixth International Conference on Information Science and Technology (ICIST)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132450506","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nevertheless, with the problem objective function of the number increasing, the selection pressure of Pareto dominance based EMO algorithms deteriorates rapidly. In our paper, we propose an evolutionary algorithm based on M2M population decomposition and reference distance to solve many-objective optimization problems, named EAPD-RD. By population decomposition, the population is decomposed into several subpopulation, and each subpopulation corresponds to a subspace represented by a direction vector. Each individual has a projector distance along the direction vector and a reference distance to the direction vector. The proposed algorithm use projector distance to enhance selection pressure of Pareto dominance. A Niching techniques based on reference distance is designed to the maintain the population diversity. Contrast experiments have been conducted by testing DTLZ(1-4) problems with 8, 10 and 15 objectives with proposed algorithm, MOEA/D and GrEA. The results of simulation illustrate that our algorithm outperforms MOEA/D and GrEA under the IGD metric.","PeriodicalId":159643,"journal":{"name":"2016 Sixth International Conference on Information Science and Technology (ICIST)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116402826","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The relay forwards the received signal from the source to the destination only when receives negative acknowledgement (NACK) from the destination. In this paper, we focus on relay antenna selection (AS) issue. An analytical framework for studying the energy efficiency trade-off of cooperation in relay system is presented, in which the power consumed in the receiving and processing circuitry is taken into consideration. Closed-form outage probability and energy efficiency expressions for different relay AS schemes are derived. The effects of relay AS schemes and relative position between destination, source and to relay on energy efficiency are investigated in this work. The numerical results reveal that, SSC outperforms MRC when the destination is relatively faraway from the source or relay, which has practical value for deciding which relay AS scheme to use by setting previously calculated thresholds.","PeriodicalId":159643,"journal":{"name":"2016 Sixth International Conference on Information Science and Technology (ICIST)","volume":"120 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130494232","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
