Skills like respecting one another, combating racism, prejudice, and intolerance, and learning to address local and global problems have become critical. UNESCO's Global Citizenship Education (GECD) initiative has faced criticisms for promoting secular values over religious ones and being too individualistic at times. Therefore, this article proposes improvements to GECD, including the introduction of new knowledge areas such as Negotiation, Social Justice, Brazilian and Global Culture, Values and Perceptions, Brazilian and Global Institutions, Conflict Resolution, Respect, and Tolerance. The objective is two-fold: to reform the GECD curriculum by presenting a new course on Global Education and Citizenship adapted to the Brazilian educational context and to reform the Brazilian National Common Core Curriculum (BNCC) for secondary education.","PeriodicalId":158927,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Inovasi Ekonomi","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126855052","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A comprehensive GRDP calculation requires complete data available from the national level down to minor administrative areas. However, institutions that carry out GRDP calculations often face challenges in obtaining complex data at smaller administrative levels. This paper explores the use of nighttime light (NTL) data as an alternative data source to estimate GRDP and its changes. The results of the panel data regression with random effects show that NTL data is statistically significant in describing GRDP in various Indonesian provinces. However, during the pandemic, NTL was not substantial in describing GRDP and showed movements that were not in line with GRDP.","PeriodicalId":158927,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Inovasi Ekonomi","volume":"145 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131918966","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The allegation of dumping practices addressed to Indonesia was submitted to the WTO as the institution that oversees all trade issues between countries in the form of filing a case or trade lawsuit. Three lawsuits from Pakistan, South Korea, and Australia over allegations of paper dumping practices at the WTO have been won by Indonesia. From an Islamic law perspective, dumping itself is prohibited if it aims to harm other countries. This article aims to provide an overview of Indonesia's paper dumping practice allegations from the perspective of Islamic law, with an explanatory and narrative approach.","PeriodicalId":158927,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Inovasi Ekonomi","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127497182","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Moldova, Rep. North Macedonia, Romania, Russia, and Ukraine. This study uses secondary data from 2000-2019 in time series and panel data with a sample of 8 countries sourced from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank. A regression method was used for time series data to analyze each country, and panel data was used for eight countries. Time series regression results show the influence of different relationships in each country. Meanwhile, the panel data regression found that exchange rate fluctuations in EMDE's European countries, GDP growth, and Terms of Trade (ToT) had a significant positive effect on exchange rates. It means that an increase in GDP and ToT growth affects the exchange rate appreciation, and a decrease in GDP and ToT growth affects the exchange rate depreciation in EMDE's European countries. Meanwhile, inflation and loan interest rates have a significant adverse effect on the exchange rate. It means that every decrease in inflation and interest rates on loans affects the appreciation of the exchange rate and vice versa, increases in inflation and interest rates on loans result in exchange rate depreciation in EMDE's European countries.","PeriodicalId":158927,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Inovasi Ekonomi","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115233852","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
