Several algorithms have been introduced for Multi-operand addition. A mixed approach of having binary adders followed by binary to BCD converter is showing better performance compared to binary adders with correction logic in intermediate stages. Adder circuits form the basis of our computing. Multiplication and division algorithms are also based on the adder circuits. Thus designing fast Multi-operand parallel adders is receiving greater interest by researchers. BD converters that are the final blocks of the adder circuits have gained a lot of importance highlighting the need to have an efficient BD converter as critical for improvised adder architectures. This paper proceeds with the mixed approach and it considers the special case of 8 operand decimal addition which is done using binary CSA structure and proposes a BD converter for 7-bit binary number that is efficient in terms of area and delay when compared to the existing designs. The power delay product of our design is 27% more efficient than existing designs.","PeriodicalId":156470,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Vision Towards Emerging Trends in Communication and Networking (ViTECoN)","volume":"83 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131351825","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Keys have to be compelled to be carried and misplacing keys or loosing them can cause a heavy issue. Here we tend to propose an answer to the current drawback is by employing a fingerprint vehicle starter system. The system provides a secure and trouble free thanks to start/stop vehicle engine.User simply has to scan finger,no need to carry any key.The system permits licensed users to begin the vehicle.Users will initial register into the system by scanning fingerprints. The system permits multiple users to register.Here we use an Atmega 328 microcontroller and esp8266 wifimodule.The fingerprint detector is connected to the microcontroller and LCD display together with push buttons and starting motor.The whole system uses IOT technology to update the vehicle information on the webapp.","PeriodicalId":156470,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Vision Towards Emerging Trends in Communication and Networking (ViTECoN)","volume":"67 10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133698111","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

All states in the country, except three, decree that marketing and selling of farm produce must be directed through state-owned mandis, retail markets where mediators (middlemen) crush farmers to increase margins. According to Goldman Sachs, mediators have become dominating buyers of the agricultural market, resulting them to take control over the plight of the farmers and gulping all the profits. The farmers work day and night expecting a good yield. They use a lot of financial resources lending money and buying fertilisers, seeds etc. So, they have the right to enjoy every rupee gained on their corp. In this context, we propose a system which brings farmers close to the retailers cutting the middlemen. The middlemen usually take up to 70% of the profits of farmers leaving them helpless. Our system consists of a mobile application which will serve as a platform for the growers and retailers or customers to sell and buy their farm products. This system aims at giving a profitable price to farmers to their farm products cutting the middlemen. This allows the retailers or the customers to buy products from the farmers at a lower than the normal price.","PeriodicalId":156470,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Vision Towards Emerging Trends in Communication and Networking (ViTECoN)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114578298","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This concept is used in the implementation of this real time attendance cum surveillance system that can be prototyped and set into action. Some of the major applications of this innovative method include face attendance using a single snap mode in smartphones for university classes, further real-time facial recognition surveillance of lab facilities and work places which can set this as a first line of defense against intruders from gaining access. The user-friendly graphical user interface provides flexibility and ease in running these powerful face recognition algorithms powered by deep-learning. We have achieved a maximum recognition accuracy of 74 percent while running the real time surveillance algorithm. This work was done as a solution to the absence of a robust and user friendly face recognition attendance system.","PeriodicalId":156470,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Vision Towards Emerging Trends in Communication and Networking (ViTECoN)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124615628","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These data if processed correctly can provide large information. Hence there is a need to convert these data into information. A novel technique which can convert the data available in image into an editable format is proposed where the image can be acquired either by a camera, smart phone or directly from any source. The image is segmented into characters by using Connected Components (CC) and edge recombination using stroke width. This image is then converted to an editable format by using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology and Maximally Stable Extremal Region (MSER) for segmentation. The proposed system can also extract object from the images, which is done by using Artificial Neural Networks (ANN). The complete solution is developed using MATLAB and the output is stored in a variable. This can also be extracted to a word document if required where it can be edited. The performance of the system is measured by using two parameters namely precision rate and recall rate and has about 88% precision and 97% recall rate which is higher than most of the earlier proposed methods.","PeriodicalId":156470,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Vision Towards Emerging Trends in Communication and Networking (ViTECoN)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129169930","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objective of this paper is to present to you a portable weather monitoring and rain forecasting system. Weather refers to the conditions of the atmosphere by measuring day to day temperature changes and describes various attributes of the troposphere [1]. While climate refers to an average over vast ranges of time [2]. With advancement of technology the act of automating weather monitoring is not only possible but also beneficial. This system will be of interest and use to weather enthusiasts and companies or individuals whose work depends on weather conditions. For example this system will be helpful in agriculture for monitoring the weather and giving warnings when the weather conditions become adverse to the planted crops. Some sports depend specifically on the weather and this system can be used for aiding sportsmen who participate in such sports.","PeriodicalId":156470,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Vision Towards Emerging Trends in Communication and Networking (ViTECoN)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129931550","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many of the available feedback system doesn’t provide data about the drowsiness, deviation of driver from driving, heart rate analysis and this is needed because according to the statistics on the crashes, a total of 37,461 people died in motor vehicle crashes in 2016 and there were about 83,000 cases registered due to drowsy driving which has become a major threat to life nowadays.
