While a fast touch screen sensing technique, frequency division concurrent sensing (FDCS) can provide substantial speed enhancement, its scan speed is still limited by the frequency characteristics of the touch screen and driving signals. We propose an enhanced FDCS technique to further improve the scan rate up to four times. The proposed technique drives only the first half-period of driving signals, while reconstructing the remaining half of the signals at the new fast Fourier transform (FFT) called a reconstruction FFT. This way, we can double the scan rate of the FDCS's maximum rate. In addition, we introduce a differential driving technique, which halves the number of required frequencies. This consequently allows us to increase the driving signal frequencies by two times. We also introduce a frequency shuffling technique to eliminate the multitouch cancellation problem, a common problem that makes it difficult to use differential signals for multitouch detection. The spectral studies performed in the codoped phosphor upon 980 nm excitation emit radiations within the UV- NIR wavelength region. Diffuse reflectance and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) analysis have been done to identify the presence of active ions and impurities in the prepared phosphor. The pump power dependence study results in green to red intensity ratio variation and thus a tuning in color of emitted light is observed. The observed emissions have been explained on the basis of excited state absorption (ESA), energy transfer (ET), and temporal evolution analysis. However, 3D displays as physical (optical) information systems should have the fundamental classification criteria. Such criteria are introduced in this paper in the form of physical-information modalities (further - modalities) identifying the physical-information formats of 3D image recordings in the working media of 3D displays. The modalities are based on four physical-information categories defined as four possible combinations of two kinds of 3D scene data representation (the object O representation and the representation by angular spectrum S of spherical waves) and two physical forms of each representation implementation (the ray optics R and diffraction optics D concepts). The modality of 3D display defines the primary physical-information properties of 3D image recording in the working medium. The true 3D image properties follow from the primary ones taking into account the relevant psychophysiological properties of the human visual system. The human visual system directly perceives 3D image light distribution that have passed through the optical scheme of 3D display after exiting the working medium.
