Contaminated toys could infect children and put them in a risk to get a disease. The study aims to determine the presence of bacteria on toys in a childhood education program and to evaluate hygiene knowledge of teachers. This study conducted in Makassar city applying purposive sampling that 40 children toys was taken out to be analysed. Swab method was used to analyse bacterial presence on toys. The analysis showed that 38 of 40 toys samples contained Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Teacher's knowledge on personal hygiene was quite good but no implementation. Most bacteria grown in children's toys were Bacillus sp, Klebsiella sp, Enterobacter aglomerans, Enterobacter aurogenes, Enterobacter cloacae, and Enterobacter hafniae. In conclusion, bacteria were found in almost all types of toys sampled. Medication errors include prescribing errors, dispensing errors, and administration errors. The medication error in the Pharmacy Installation of Haji Hospital in the case of medication errors is a problem in the service and does not meet the Minimum Service Standards in the Hospital. This study aims to get an overview of the incidence of medication errors in Haji Hospital in 2017. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. Determination of informants using purposive sampling method and obtained by informants as many as ten people. Data collection in the form of in-depth interviews, document review, and observation. The results of the study showed that prescribing errors that occurred in Haji Hospital include doctors who wrote incorrect prescriptions, exchanged prescriptions, doctor's writings were not clear, and recipes were incomplete. Dispensing errors include misreading the recipe, wrong patient, incorrect etiquette, and incomplete medication. Administration errors include not on time, improper way of taking medication, improper patient, and improper medication. This study aimed to analyze the correlation between sex, age, work time, license, and rating on the safety performance of ATC worker. This study was a cross-sectional study with the total of the samples were 30 respondents at Airnav Ngurah Rai, Bali-Indonesia. The data analysis utilized Chi-Square. The result of the study showed that the highest safety performance was sufficient safety performance with the percentage of 36,7% and the lowest one was the excellent safety performance with a percentage of 10%. Significant variable with safety performance was years of services on safety performance with P value = 0,041. Meanwhile, insignificant variables were sex, age, license, and rating on safety performance. This research aims to determine the description of Patient Safety Culture at Makassar City Hospital. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research with cross-sectional approach. The population is medical and nursing service officers. Sampling method in this study is proportional random sampling with a large sample of 100 from 334. The data collection tool is a patient safety culture questionnaire based on the Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture questionnaire. The results showed that most dimensions of patient safety culture in Hospital of Makassar City were positive with the highest dimension found in dimension of the management support for the patient safety of 95% and teamwork within units of 94.1%, while the lowest dimension was in dimension of staffing of 19%, nonpunitive response to error of 38% and frequency of events reported of 40%. Its reduction could disrupt their daily activities from bathing, dressing, eating, defecating, urinating, to moving. The elderly independence is influenced by internal and external factor of the elderly. This research aims to investigate the factors increased the elderly independence in the houses as an effort to enhance their quality of life. Analytical observational design was involved with a cross-sectional approach. 102 samples obtained by total sampling technique. The data collection used a research instrument and modified Katz index to investigate the independence of the elderly. The data analysis was bivariate with chi-square test and multivariate with logistic regression test. The result of bivariate analysis shows the factors increasing the elderly independence and their health problems p=0,0000 and OR=0,043, movement disorder of the elderly p=0,0000 and OR=0,038, family support p=0,006 and OR=3,157, and the elderly’s age with p=0,0000 and OR=0,141. The multivariate analysis shows the elderly health problems (OR=0,182), movement disorder (OR=0,153), family support (OR=4,342) and the elderly’s age (OR=0,260) simultaneously influenced the level of elderly independence. Climate is one of the contributing factors that may affect the occurrence of diarrhea. This study aimed to determine the relationship between climate, consisted of air temperature, rainfall, and air humidity with the incidence of diarrhea in Tana Toraja District in 2011 2015. The research sample is the number of months in five years from 2011-2015 i.e. 60 months. The univariate analysis showed that average air temperature, rainfall, humidity, and number of diarrhea cases fluctuated up and down each month. Correlation and regression test were used for data analysis. This research showed that there is a significant correlation of air temperature with monthly diarrhea case (p=0,005) and weak relation (r=0,35 /35,7%) and patterned positive, there is significant relation of rainfall with monthly diarrhea case (p=0,000) (r=0.465 /46,5%) and patterned positive, while air moisture per month did not correlate significantly (p=0,268) and very weak relation (r=0,145/14,5%) and patterned positively. This disease is spread through mosquitos (Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus) that are found in a tropical and subtropical area, especially on the islands of Indonesia. Mengkudu folium contains useful chemical substance, namely Morinda citrifolia, that functions as stomach poisoning to larva Aedes aegypti’s digestive system. Therefore the larva cannot live and eventually die. The purpose of this research was to investigate the chemical activity of mengkudu folium extract powder (Morinda citrifolia) as larvicide to Aedes aegypti. This research employed experimental design and was conducted at Chemistry Laboratory of both Akademi Farmasi Samarinda and Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur. The main substance tested in this research was mengkudu folium extract powder (Morinda citrifolia). The test was conducted with mengkudu folium extract powder with different concentrates: 1%, 3%, and 5%. Water and Abate powder were used as a negative control. Observation periods were 15 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 9 hours, and 24 hours. However, its residues in agricultural products will result in many health problems, both acute and chronic. The residue may be reduced through some treatment. This study aimed to analyze the chlorpyrifos residues in tomatoes with and without washing. Quasi-experiment was applied in this study. Tomatoes samples were obtained from the Village of Jennetallasa, Rumbia, Jeneponto Regency. Chlorpyrifos analysis using gas chromatography method. The results showed that the residue levels of the chlorpyrifos with washing using piped water, mountains water, and without washing are 0.006 mg/kg, 0.016 mg/kg, 0.050 mg/kg respectively. Through the Counseling program, it is expected to increase knowledge and raise awareness of the importance of maintaining dental and oral health. The objective of this study is to find out the effectiveness of Counseling with cartoon animation audiovisual method in increasing the knowledge of brushing teeth. Research method with pre-experiment research type, one group pre-test post-test design with a cross-sectional approach counseling the level of knowledge of brushing teeth using audio-visual methods with cartoon animation videos. This research was conducted on children aged ten to twelve years at Toddopuli Superior Primary School in Makassar City, Indonesia. The results of this study show the average value of subjects before and after Counseling is in a good category. Counseling is in the category of good and less knowledge. Fifteen or eighteen percent of children are in the category of a sufficient level of knowledge. After Counseling, there are eighty-two or ninety-eight point eight percent of children are in the category of good knowledge level. There is only one or one point two percent of children in the sufficient category, and none in the category lack of knowledge. Along with these developments, followed by soaring production of motor vehicles. Exhaust of motor vehicles can have a negative impact on health because of the large risk of exposure to heavy metals, such as carbon monoxide, nitrogen and sulfur (CO, NOx, and SOx) which are toxic in certain doses or concentrations. The purpose of this study was to determine the decrease in ambient air quality before and after using the tongue-in-law leaves (sansiviera) in the ambient air. This type of research is quasi experimental with pretest and posttest design. The research time was carried out in May 2018. The population in this study was the leaf of the tongue-in-law (sansiviera). Which is made as a sample 3 pots of in-lawn tongue leaves (sansiviera) type of sansviera trifasciata golden hannii 2 pots and sansiviera trifasciata prain 1 pot. To find out whether or not there is a decrease in ambient air quality before and after using the leaf of the in-law tongue (sansiviera) by looking at the amount of difference and the percentage of decrease.The results of this study indicate that at 1:00 a.m. for the first gasoline 20% -50%, and premium gasoline 14.47% -50%. At 8:00 p.m. WITA for pertamax gasoline 12.57% 50% and gasoline premium 9.61% -2.5%.
