It’s evident that MPC functioned permanent magnet motor drives provide less torque ripples and good response over various steady state and dynamic conditions. In this paper, a simple scheme for flux and torque control of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) using model predictive torque control is proposed. In this proposed model predictive torque control, two distinct cost functions for torque and flux control are used without assigning weighting factor. This simplified scheme initiates good steady state response for PMSM drive. The proposed control is validated by simulations with regard to steady state and dynamic characteristics over direct torque control. It’s also called Break Bone Fever. It’s caused due to a virus called Dengue virus (DNEV) belonging to the family of Flavivirus. It is mainly caused due to the mosquito bite which belongs to Aegis family. In this work, a reliable and simpler solution for detecting the disease has been proposed. Previous works on disease prediction explains how the disease can be predicted using Fuzzy logic. Based on those works, a new logic system is designed to predict the Dengue as early as possible. The proposed system uses rules generated from physical test results collected from hospitals. This has attracted researchers from both academia and industry to conduct various research on driverless or self-driving cars. One of the significant aspects of self-driving vehicles is the detection of lanes through Edge Detection to correct the vehicle from inadvertent road departure. As real-time Edge detection is a fundamental step of Complex Image processing that handles lane detection and autonomous driving, it is crucial for engineers to select optimum edge detection technique. This paper, presents a practical approach to compare various edge detection algorithms to figure out the most ideal method for lane detection, considering processing time and efficiency. Though, multiple research works are available regarding edge detection method, all of these comparisons are either software simulation based or was not focused primarily on the task of lane detection. Thus, creating an absence of hardware-based practical implementation and comparison of the edge detection methods. In this work, we have discussed the working of four most commonly used edge detection technologies: Sobel, Roberts, Laplacian and Canny, followed by the results from implementing them on a scaled autonomous electric car using Raspberry Pi, Arduino and Raspberry Pi Camera Module, under similar test conditions. In this paper, an automatic deep fishy action recognition system has been developed. We have implemented two spatiotemporal convolutional algorithms (pre-trained on Kinetics-400) that are capable of handling information regarding temporal, spatial, and motion in video sequences via residual learning techniques. Six categories of suspicious videos where there are only fine-grained atomic actions from five different datasets have been considered and a composite dataset has been created. To reduce over-fitting and making the dataset more robust and generalized, synthetic data have been procured through the offline augmentation processes. To the best of our knowledge this is the first attempt to recognize malicious actions across an integrated dataset comprising of five cross-event and heterogeneous datasets of actions. Therefore, we had to combat with multifarious challenges of domain shifting. The Proportional - Integral (PI) speed controller of conventional IFOC is replaced with Sliding Mode Controller (SMC) in this work and performance by both are compared. Simulation results show that the IFOC scheme with PI Controller presents good performance under steady state if its gain parameters are tuned perfectly for that operating condition. In the proposed topology, SMC with hyperbolic tangent function is used as switching function aiming a reduction in chattering effect. Simulation results shows that SMC based IM drives are capable of developing high dynamic performance in wide speed range applications and is robust to external disturbances and parametric variations. The software engineering technology can be more eye-catching among artificial intelligent-based software developers. The artificial intelligence systems such as the human machine interaction process are difficult to identify the pre-conditions during the development. Re-engineering is essential for artificial intelligent systems-based applications. Regression testing has assured the quality of products during the re-engineering process. The test cases are a core component in regression testing. Test case optimization and selection is a major activity to reduce the time and cost during regression testing. Many test case selection techniques have solved the problems in regression testing, however, the techniques seem to have much focus on reducing the number of test cases. This research proposes a test case optimization-based specification diagram. In the test, case selections are controlled by the simulation invocation relationship. The proposed simulation invocation methodology identified the simulations to be affected during the reengineering process. The proposed optimization algorithm produced the test cases based on the fault coverage criteria. This approach had validated with three artificial intelligent-based systems during regression testing. Uninterrupted electrical energy supply can be ensured from DC Micro Grid by incorporating a suitable control strategy. Droop control based on virtual output impedance for load sharing among parallel connected choppers in a DC Micro Grid is discussed in this paper. The control strategy used doesn’t demand communication between different sources. Due to their low equivalent impedance, it significantly impacts the distance relays zone reach settings, especially in zone-3. This paper presents the effect of large power transformer on zone-3 reach settings, protection zone overlaps, the adjoining long line outside of the protection zone, and their resulting consequences. This paper proposes a systematic approach for overcoming the distance relays zone setting reach problem, ensuring zone overlapping on distance protection relays for the adjoining long line, and incorporating large power transformers into distance protection zone with proper relay coordination. For simulation, the DIgSILENT PowerFactory 2021 software is used. The short-circuit calculation is performed using the IEC 60909 method. For illustrating impedance seen by the distance relay in different fault conditions and locations, the 7SA522 line distance relay of SIEMENS is utilized.
