It grew rapidly with the advent of World Wide Web. Soon many E-Learning paradigms flourished across the web. This resulted in the need for standardization, an effective guideline to make e-learning more structured and effective. The need for designing for learning resulted in many pedagogical models of which Learning Design has proved popular. Many platforms such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) were soon inspired by Learning Design and a significant success is seen over the last decade by the education sector adopting such systems. Also, the use of immersive environments like 3D virtual world has increased in the field of education. The scope and capabilities of these environments are interesting, so are the challenges associated in using them. The main problem for using these environments in education sector is the lack of ease with which authoring can be done in them. On the other hand, Learning Design engines such as LAMS offer much easier authoring in 2D. This paper proposes an approach to deploy the design sequence created in a 2D authoring interface such as LAMS into a 3D virtual world like Open Wonderland. The fail safe operation of a safety critical system like battery operated car or any other lifesaving systems are heavily depend upon earlier prediction of battery life. SOC or State-of-Charge estimation is one of the well-known method to predict the runtime of a battery. Various approaches are adapted by automotive society to correctly predict the runtime or the SOC of a battery like Kalman filter, UKF and many others. This paper proposes a new approach, the method of regression to predict the future power demand of a car while running on the road. The aim is to identify that, the battery will support the run of the car in next 10 seconds or not. The runtime prediction of a battery, not only depends upon the starting SOC but also depends upon other factors like battery health and road profile imposed. To overcome this type of difficulties the self-corrective regression model is proposed and implemented. Experiments performed on different road profiles, validate demanded power by the car in up-coming 10 seconds of its run. The major problem of SoC estimation is to determine initial SoC of a battery. Extensive experiments needed to calculate the initial SoC and which may also vary with the life of the battery. The novelty of this work shows, the method to predict the future power demand by updating its model parameters and without any initial SoC calculation. They traverse the hyperlink structure of the World Wide Web so that they can retrieve information. There are many reasons to distinguish web robot requests and user requests. Some tasks of web robots can be harmful to the web. Firstly, Web robots are employed for assemble business intelligence at e-commerce sites. In such a state of affairs, the e-commerce site may need to detect robots. Secondly, many e-commerce sites carry out Web traffic scrutiny to deduce the way their customers have accessed the site. Unfortunately, such scrutiny can be erroneous by the presence of Web robots. Thirdly, Web robots often consume considerable network bandwidth and server resources at the expense of other users. A web log file is a web server file automatically created and maintained by a web server to check the activity performed by it. It maintains a history of page requests on its site. In this paper we have used four methods together to detect and finally confirm requests as a robot request. Experiments have been performed on the log file generated from the server of an operational web site named vtulife.com which contains data of march-20l3. System level cancer cell detection has been done with the dielectric constant(at optical frequency) as the input. Comparison of normal cell and cancerous cell has been done and a precise frequency shift has been observed. The input dielectric constant values of normal cell varies from 1.8225 to 1.8769 and for cancer cell it varies from 1.9376 to 1.9628. Even though the change in the input is very small, a micron change in the frequency has been observed. Many algorithms have been developed that are now commonly used in various fields ranging from natural language processing to computational finance and has been brought to use commercially as well. Recently, there has been an increase in research on machine learning application in the area of automated video surveillance systems. Most of these algorithms assume that both the training data and test data belong to same feature space with same distribution which might not always be true. This constraint gave rise to the concept of transfer learning which uses the knowledge from the preoccupied knowledge from other related task. This paper aims at improving the efficiency of a transfer learning based machine learning technique for object classification, MKTL framework. It is possible to arrange musical phrases consisting of certain notes in various permutations to give rise to different tunes, but similar musical character. By assigning weighted probabilities to musical phrases, one can devise an algorithm that alters the arrangement of a musical piece each time it is played on a digital device. This is meant to simulate improvisations made by a live musician while retaining the composer's original ideas. In this paper, a prototype was designed and implemented to demonstrate this technique. Several tests were conducted with this model and the outputs were recorded. The conductor backed design has an additional ground plane at the bottom surface of the substrate compared with conventional coplanar waveguide. This lower ground plane provides an additional mechanical support to the substrate. Moreover, it can act as a heat sink or heat exchanger thereby cools the device by dissipating heat energy. In the area of antenna design, ACS feed has several advantages over coplanar waveguide (CPW) feed. The main advantage is the achievement of compactness in antenna size. The proposed antenna is designed on a flame retardant woven glass reinforced epoxy resin (FR4) substrate having permittivity 4.4. Both image analysis and EEG signal analysis is done using a video stimulus and based on wavelet approach for feature extraction. This novel methodology provides cross-validation of EEG and Image results with self-assessment of the participants and encourages multi-classification with the use of two different classifiers. The device is a micro-controller based robot which is a pair of shoes with wheels that manipulates limb motion. This is achieved with the help of a DC geared motor and IR sensor. Rehabilitation after surgery is a tedious process which requires careful monitoring and constant support. If proper rehabilitation for patient is not given, it may lead to permanent impairment of the physical parts. At present the rehabilitation methods that are being used are very primitive and require a lot of improvement. In this methodology we use an IR wheel encoding sensor that can be used to determine the displacement of the leg. Here the leg which is not injured acts as a reference to the injured leg. The measured parameter is sent to the controller and accordingly the controller drives the DC geared Motor fitted with wheels provided under the shoe thus providing the motion for the injured or paralyzed leg. This paper describes the integration of service methods in a teleophthalmology screening system currently live in India. Earlier studies examined individual features/methods to enhance service; by integrating multiple tools demonstrated by such studies to improve or enhance the service, ForusCare shows a clinical/logistical/financial path to expansion of telemedicine in the developing world to the benefit of the neediest.
