In this study, we explored the risk factors and seroprevalence of Toxoplasma infection among cancer patients and patients with blood cell disorders in Iran. We collected serum samples from each participant include 600 clinically healthy individuals, 127 patients with different types of cancer, 294 patients with red blood cell disorders, and 101 patients with white blood cell disorders and tested for anti-Toxoplasma antibodies (IgG and IgM) using an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay kits and analyzed the results statistically.Out of the 1122 participants,seroprevalence of Toxoplasmosis among all patients with different disorders, patients with white blood cell disorders, patients with red blood cell disorders and patients with different types of cancer 9.97, 17.82, 11.57 and 7.09 were reported respectiveiy.Awareness campaign to educate blood cell disorders patients regarding contact with pets is salient to the reduction of the Toxoplasma burden. In addition, it is pertinent to screen patients with cancers to rule out Toxoplasma infections. © 2021, Islamic Azad University. Bread wheat is one of the most important grain products for human consumption. The aim of the study is to examine the effect of baking methods on residues of heavy metals in the different breads produced with wheat flour in Mashhad, Iran. A total of 180 samples of different breads produced in 90 bakery shops in Mashhad was analyzed for some heavy metals (Fe, Cr, Cu, Zn, Pb, Hg, Co, As, Al, V, Cd, and Ni) by inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). Results showed that the average concentration of Fe, Al, Zn, Cu, and Cd in some bread samples were significantly (p<0.05) different between traditional and industrial baking processes. The average concentrations of the entire test of Fe (46.35±39.78 mg.kg-1), Cr (0.28±0.33 mg.kg-1), Al (3.49±1.89 mg.kg-1), and As (0.479±0.229 mg.kg-1) were higher than the current corresponding safety limit in all type of bread. Saleh","doi":"10.22034/JCHR.2021.682034","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.22034/JCHR.2021.682034","url":null,"abstract":"Multicomponent Reactions; Triaryl-1H Imidazoles; Reductive-oxidative; Catalyst; MnO2-FeSO4 ABSTRACT: The study's chief purpose is to investigate multicomponent reactions synthesis of triaryl1h imidazoles using reductive-oxidative reactions by MnO2 FeSO4 as a catalyst.Some novel substituted imidazoles have been synthesized using MCRs, one-pot synthesis, and MnO2/FeSO4 as a catalyst; the method involves the reaction of benzil, aromatic aldehyde, and ammonium acetate in the presence of MnO2/FeSO4 as a reductive-oxidative catalyst under mild conditions. the obtained compounds were nontoxic, excellent yields, and environmentally friendly. The compounds were elucidated using IR and H-NMR spectra. To satisfy the aim of the study, Reactions have been performed simply by mixing 1,2-diketone with an aldehyde and ammonium acetate in the presence of the catalytic reagent of MnO2/FeSO4.
