We examine the role that different catalysts play in changing the reaction rate and products. Most importantly, we conduct a literature review to identify the optimal catalyst for obtaining the maximum output of oil at different ranges of temperature and pressure. Investigation of antimicrobial activity of the compounds was done by using Gram- positive (S. aureus, S. mutans and B. subtilis) bacteria.
