The role of parents is to be aware of the child's condition and focus on understanding good examples of his character. Especially with the current rise in bullying cases, the role of parents is very important in shaping children's character so that they do not become victims or perpetrators. The reason for carrying out this investigation is the prevalence of bullying among minors, which is a serious problem and requires follow-up action. The aim of this research is to clarify the role of parents in developing children's character in responding to bullying. The method used in this research is qualitative method. Research shows that parents have a very important role in the development of a child's personality. Because, the first people who model their behavior are their parents. Parents can instill character in their children by setting an example, doing good deeds, communicating, and involving children in activities at home. Therefore, the character that parents instill in their children from an early age will make them more confident, strong and able to appear assertive in their environment. To combat bullying, parents must educate and strengthen their children to be fearless and self-confident, empowering them to choose friends at social gatherings and even to protect themselves and even seek revenge.","PeriodicalId":153315,"journal":{"name":"Dharmawangsa: International Journal of the Social Sciences, Education and Humanitis","volume":"9 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140393061","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Early childhood character building in Bontoala Village, Pallangga District, Gowa Regency is quite good. Because looking at some of the children's characters, there are some that are really paid attention to by their parents, and there are also some others that are less noticed, ranging from habits at home and who their friends hang out with outside the home. And the supporting factors of parents in the formation of children's character are adequate facilities and infrastructure, a good environment, and support from the family. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors in the formation of children's character are television broadcasts and excessive use of mobile phones, children's pleasure in playing, busy parents, and the environment of friends.","PeriodicalId":153315,"journal":{"name":"Dharmawangsa: International Journal of the Social Sciences, Education and Humanitis","volume":"49 2‐3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140394039","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Observation is the study method employed, and a checklist is utilized to collect data. It is evident from observations that traders make eye contact, approach, smile, nod, and shake their heads, among other social interactions. In the culinary industry, ties between customers and suppliers are forged through social interaction. The observations reveal that trader 1, trader 2, and trader 3 have different social interaction tendencies. Traders 2 and 3 exhibit a wider variety of social interaction patterns compared to trader 1, who tends to be more optimistic and avoid confrontation. Additionally, there are distinctions between them in how they greet, enquire, converse, laugh, and negotiating with buyers.","PeriodicalId":153315,"journal":{"name":"Dharmawangsa: International Journal of the Social Sciences, Education and Humanitis","volume":"202 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140392982","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In fact, a library is a room, part of a building, or the building itself, used to store books and other publications that are generally stored according to the order of data to be used. (Basuki, 1991). In order to ensure high-quality information, the university library should be considered as part of the process of acquiring library material for the fulfilment of the information required by libraries and the development of a reliable collection of information sources. The development of this collection is carried out with the involvement of library staff, executives, researchers, as well as users or librarians. As for the development of this collection, it is the acquisition of library material or acquisition. The method presented in this article uses library research, i.e. the method of gathering data through understanding and studying the theories of various documents related to research. Library research in research has four stages, namely preparing the necessary documents, preparing work maps, setting time, and reading or recording research materials. This data collection uses a way to find sources and build from a variety of sources, such as books, journals, and previous research. Library materials derived from various references are critically analyzed and need to be further examined to support suggestions and ideas.The quality of a library depends on its collection, and the collection depends upon the selection process. It shows that the choice is very important for the library. If the selection is not properly considered, the library collection may not be able to meet the needs of its users or provide them with satisfaction. This will worsen librarians expectations of libraries. Users may not be allowed to use the library because they feel that they do not get the information they need. Therefore, librarians must be able to carefully and wisely select and select the materials to be included in the library collection.","PeriodicalId":153315,"journal":{"name":"Dharmawangsa: International Journal of the Social Sciences, Education and Humanitis","volume":"214 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140393156","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Islam entered the archipelago through several routes, including trade, marriage, education, da'wah, etc. Java itself became one of the regions in the archipelago that became the location of the spread of Islam. Before knowing Islam, javanese people had previously embraced animism and dynamism, Hindu- Buddhism, and then converted to Islam, which was in the process The spread of Islam made the lives of the people begin to change for the better. Islam can be accepted by the javanese people, but even though they have changed their beliefs to embrace Islam, in fact various cultures and traditions from previous ancestors are still firmly held and implemented by the javanese community. The conditions that occur in Javanese society make them like living by adhering to two religions, where the teaching of the ancestors and the teaching of Islam are met and created new acculturation. The cultular mixing between Islam and the original culture of the Javanese people is called Javanese Islam. The word kejawen comes from the Javanese word which means everything related to Javanesecustoms and beliefs , in general terminology, kejawen is interpreted as a philosophy that has certain teachings , especially in building a karmic system, meaning Kejawen itself is a fusion between Islam and beliefs from traditional Javanese culture that have been inherent for hundreds of years in Javanese society like every kejawen belief also has many values and teachings of goodness that need to be practiced preservatively.
