For these variants, general analytical expressions are obtained for the complex generalized correlation integral of space – time processing in the function of spatial coordinates, taking into account the individual directional pattern of phased array antennas. On the basis of two – dimensional profiles of the correlation integral modules «range – elevation» and «azimuth – elevation», examples of comparing particular variants of two-position and three-position systems of radars with their location on one straight line parallel runway are given. In conditions of large signal-to-noise ratios, power-law nonlinear transformations of the correlation integral correlation integral module are applied to reduce the level of side lobes in the two – dimensional sections «range – elevation» and «azimuth – elevation». The following results are obtained using examples. Two-dimensional diagrams of the correlation integral module «range – elevation» do not depend on the azimuth of the aircraft in the range of azimuth values β=0…10 ̊ and correctly display the angle of elevation and the range of the aircraft when 2…3 radars of a non-cooperative system are located on the straight line parallel runway. The two-dimensional diagrams of the correlation integral module «azimuth – elevation angle» have an interference structure, and the number and level of their side lobes increase with increasing azimuth of the aircraft. With azimuth β≥10 ̊, this can lead to ambiguity in the measurement of the azimuth and uncertainty in the elevation angle . One of the measures to reduce the side level of the diagrams of the correlation integral module can be the use of a power-law transformation of normalized diagrams exponentiation of degree 3...4. An increase in the number of radars from two to three when they are located on one straight line parallel to the runway led to a decrease in the side lobes level of the «range – elevation angle» and «azimuth – elevation angle» diagrams. In this case, it may be advisable to solve the problem of optimal choice of the position of the intermediate radar on the same straight line. Calculations were also carried out for an additional example of the location of the intermediate radar of a 3-position system with its removal from the base line. Emitters can be longitudinal, transverse or oblique slots located along the generatrix of the cone on the conducting surface. A number of specific requirements are imposed on such ARs used in on-board radar systems (radars) of UAVs, among which we can note the need to form a highly directional total-difference directional pattern (DP) with a maximum of the total DP and a minimum of a difference DP in the direction of the UAV flight axis, as well as high gain and slope of the difference characteristic. The aim of this work was to study the radiation of a waveguide-slot antenna array (WASAA) installed on a conical surface and providing linear polarization of the emitted field in the direction of the cone axis. For this, electrodynamic modeling of various configurations of WASAA, located both in free space and on a conical surface, was carried out. For the developed models of antennas, the directivity characteristics and their dependence on the geometry and dimensions of the WASAA are determined. The results of an experimental study of the characteristics of a model of a conical antenna emitting a field of linear polarization in the direction of the cone axis are presented. The experimental results are compared with the results of electrodynamic modeling. In these situations, it is advisable to use angular estimation procedures with super-resolution in the onboard radar system. Various methods and algorithms of angular estimation with super-resolution are known, each of which has its own advantages and disadvantages. At the same time, there is no information in the available scientific and technical literature about the algorithms of angular estimation with super-resolution used in the onboard radar system, knowledge of which is necessary when designing promising onboard radar systems. The article systematizes and analyzes the methods and algorithms of angular estimation with super-resolution. The classification of methods of angular estimation with superresolution is given. The generalized information about the known one-dimensional and twodimensional methods and algorithms of angular estimation is given. The algorithms proposed for use in flat antenna arrays, concentric ring antenna arrays, ring antenna arrays, round four-quadrant antenna arrays, flat antenna arrays with a total output signal are considered. It is noted that the features of the construction of radar homing heads include a reduction in the total number of information processing channels achieved by combining antenna elements into sublattices, the output signals of which are used to estimate the angular coordinates of radiation sources. The specificity of such antenna arrays is that the antenna sublattices have radiation patterns that are narrower than those of weakly directed antenna elements. In addition, the distance between the antenna modules can significantly exceed the distance between the antenna elements in a conventional antenna array and at the same time significantly exceed the wavelength size. Lozovskiy","doi":"10.18127/j20700784-202103-03","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18127/j20700784-202103-03","url":null,"abstract":"The use of broadband souding signals in radars, which has become real in recent years, leads to a significant reduction in the size of resolution elements in range and, accordingly, in the size of the window in which the training sample is formed, which is used to adapt the detection threshold in signal detection algorithms with a constant level of false alarms. In existing radars, such a window would lead to huge losses. The purpose of the work was to study the most rational options for constructing detectors with a constant level of false alarms in radars with broadband sounding signals. The problem was solved for the Rayleigh distribution of the envelope of the noise and a number of non-Rayleigh laws — Weibull and the lognormal, the appearance of which is associated with a decrease in the number of reflecting elements in the resolution volume. For Rayleigh interference, an algorithm is proposed with a multi-channel in range incoherent signal amplitude storage and normalization to the larger of the two estimates of the interference power in the range segments. The detection threshold in it adapts not only to the interference power, but also to the magnitude of the «power jump» in range, which allows reducing the number of false alarms during sudden changes in the interference power – the increase in the probability of false alarms did not exceed one order of magnitude. In this algorithm, there is a certain increase in losses associated with incoherent accumulation of signals reflected from target elements, and losses can be reduced by certain increasing the size of the distance segments that make up the window. Algorithms for detecting broadband signals against interference with non-Rayleigh laws of distribution of the envelope – Weibull and lognormal, based on the addition of the algorithm for detecting signals by non-linear transformation of sample counts into counts with a Rayleigh distribution, are studied. The structure of the detection algorithm remains unchanged in practice. The options for detectors of narrowband and broadband signals are considered. It was found that, in contrast to algorithms designed for the Rayleigh distribution, these algorithms provide a stable level of false alarms regardless of the values of the parameters of non-Rayleigh interference. To reduce losses due to interference with the distribution of amplitudes according to the Rayleigh law, detectors consisting of two channels are used, in which one of the channels is tuned for interference with the Rayleigh distribution, and the other for lognormal or Weibull interference. Channels are switched according to special distribution type recognition algorithms. In such detectors, however, there is a certain increase in the probability of false alarms in a rather narrow range of non-Rayleigh interference parameters, where their distribution approaches the Rayleigh distribution.
