The research was realized on a base of the contemporary Plate tectonics study principia by means of the morphostructural analysis apply (Tzankov, 2013). It was provided the principal relief building role of the regional mosaic pattern and the listric faulting in the Eastern part of the Balkan Peninsula. The Quaternary Earth superficial relief building processes were and are predominantly provoked and controlled by the Upper Mantle - Asthenosphere energy. Its Earth superficial effects are expressed by the relationships between the seismic effects and the regional faulting. The East Balkan Peninsula Area was a part from the Tethys Ocean until 72 000 000 years. The pre Maestrichtian Geologic-Tectonic Pattern of cockle of the East Balkan Peninsula Area wasn’t built on the Europe Continental Massif. The modern East Balkan Peninsula Relief is forming during the Late Quaternary Time. The East Balkan Peninsula Margin coincides with the border between the Bulgarian and Moesian Continental Microplates from the west and the Black Sea Oceanic Microplate to the east. This border presents the Neo Europe West Passive Continental Margin in the area of the last Tethys Oceanic Fragment - it Black Sea Oceanic Gulf.","PeriodicalId":150549,"journal":{"name":"1st Istanbul International Geography Congress Proceedings Book","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131184124","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Evident polarization in the urban system of Bosnia and Herzegovina is reflected in the very dynamic monocentrism of the capital city and the regional centers, which is further intensified by the consequences of the war through the resettlement of a large number of refugees and displaced persons. One of the main objectives of this paper is the realization of nature and the change in the level of the urban hierarchy in Bosnia and Herzegovina by determining changes in urbanization and the present differences between urban settlements in a period longer than 30 years (1981-2013). A further analysis of the interdependence of the urban system of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the territorial organization has determined that the urban system of Bosnia and Herzegovina did not represent the basis of the formation of a new political-territorial organization. The dissolution of integrative urban development after 1991 has markedly negative tendencies in the development of the urban system, which has been shown in the last two decades.","PeriodicalId":150549,"journal":{"name":"1st Istanbul International Geography Congress Proceedings Book","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127661331","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, agricultural land should be appropriately evaluated and used in accordance with its characteristics; moreover, it should be solely used for agricultural purposes. One of the most important factors affecting soil fertility is the amount of organic matter (OM). Therefore, the present study evaluated the distribution of OM in Samsun Province at Turkey’s Black Sea Region located in the Central Black Sea Department (total area: 9813 km 2 ), Turkey. A total of 971 soil samples were collected from the Samsun Province, and the amount of OM was assessed using a modified version of the Walkley–Black method. The distribution of OM was evaluated using an appropriate geostatistical method and a distribution map. The relationship between land cover/land use and the amount of OM was determined by applying a merging process using the geographic information systems program ArcGIS 10.2. The results revealed that rangelands had the highest amount of OM, followed by nonirrigated fruit regions, natural meadows, sparse plant regions, and continuously irrigated orchards. Furthermore, 85.8% of the land in Samsun Province comprised soils with a 2-3 percent of OM, 13.7% comprised soils with a 3-4 percent OM, and 0.5% comprised soils with a low amount of OM. Examination of the relationship between the existing land uses and the amount of OM showed that the soils in regions covered with broad-leaved forests and natural vegetation as well as agricultural and arable regions had sufficient amounts of natural flora and a low amount of OM; however, the soils in agricultural regions, nonirrigated arable regions, and nonirrigated mixed agricultural regions as well as regions covered with mixed forests had a medium amount of OM.","PeriodicalId":150549,"journal":{"name":"1st Istanbul International Geography Congress Proceedings Book","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133257286","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
