A 65-years old married male patient who was currently unemployed was interviewed by a psychiatrist in an uncomfortable reclining position. The patient had been hospitalized for 8 days prior to the interview with a history of being unconscious. The patient showed disorganized speech, tried to pull the intravenous line, and hit his wife. The patient said that at this time, he was unable to sleep due to the throbbing headaches, nauseous, and frequent urination at night. Thus, the patient felt uncomfortable, tired, and drowsy in the morning. Those symptoms got worse in the last week. The patient never had sleep problems before. The psychiatric status showed an appropriate appearance, uncomfortable looks, adequate verbal and visual contact, clear consciousness, dysphoric mood and affect which was congruent, logical realist coherent thought process, and a preoccupation of headache. There was no hallucination or illusion, but mixed type insomnia was found. The patient was diagnosed with adjustment disorder with predominant symptoms and sleep disturbances (F43.28). ","PeriodicalId":149625,"journal":{"name":"International journal of health & medical sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129260944","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Besides that, breast milk is the best way to reduce infant morbidity and mortality from infectious diseases, which often affect toddlers in developing countries who are not getting the appropriate developmental nutrition. Meanwhile, the level of national initiation is checked according to mother’s age. Young mother (< 19 years old) tends to rarely breastfeed (83.6 percent) compared with the older one (88.5 percent- 92.7 percent). Therefore, the scoping review aims to explore the description about exclusive breastfeeding on mother with early marriage. Method: the method of this scoping review used Arksey & O’Malley framework consisting of five stages such as identifying scoping review question by framework PEOs; identifying relevant article through relevant database, such as Pubmed, Proquest, ScienceDirect and finding Grey literature through Google Scholar; selecting the article with Prism Flowchart that is used to draw the article search flow, doing critical appraisal to assess the quality of article; doing data charting.","PeriodicalId":149625,"journal":{"name":"International journal of health & medical sciences","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125339640","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The increase in the number of people suffering from Covid-19 proves that Covid-19 spreads easily and quickly (World Health Organization, 2021). The Covid-19 virus attacks all ages, including vulnerable groups, one of which is pregnant women. During the Covid-19 pandemic, health services must continue to run optimally and be safe for patients and midwives with various adjustments based on Covid-19 handling guidelines or health protocols. Implementing antenatal classes during pregnancy and the role of the midwife or health worker is essential in identifying pregnant women class participants who will attend antenatal classes during pregnancy, including in the preparation phase. The objective is to systematically map research conducted in this field and identify the role of midwives in implementing class services for pregnant women during the pandemic. The method used is Prisma Flowchart (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic review and Meta-Analyses) to describe the literature search flow. The article search uses four databases (Google Scholar, Pubmed, Wiley, and Science Direct). ","PeriodicalId":149625,"journal":{"name":"International journal of health & medical sciences","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131456962","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Research on the causes, knowledge, prevention, and factors that influence the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage has been carried out previously. However, research on the referral system in postpartum hemorrhage cases done by midwives has not primarily been explored. PRISMA results showed that there were 95 articles obtained from three databases. Article selection was carried out based on predetermined criteria for inclusion and exclusion. This research has acquired five related articles. The seven articles obtained were analyzed for their critical appraisal using the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI). This study aims to identify the in-depth literature obtained through various sources with various research methods related to the topic, which is the implementation of the referral system in primary postpartum hemorrhage done by midwives of health centers. Therefore, identifying gaps from the existing articles or synthesizing evidence through different studies can be done. Then sources of evidence that provide reference information and research on postpartum bleeding can be found. ","PeriodicalId":149625,"journal":{"name":"International journal of health & medical sciences","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114781112","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This situation is proven by the lack of quality and quantity of red blood cells that consequently decrease the amount of oxygen transported into the tissue. The high incidence of anemia in pregnancy can cause high maternal mortality after childbirth resulting from pregnancy complications such as bleeding. A lot of research on the factors that influence anemia and the prevention of anemia during pregnancy has been conducted previously. However, there is still few of research exploring women's perception of anemia and the consumption of iron supplements. This Scoping Review aims to determine the extent of women's perception of anemia and iron supplement consumption. The method used is Scoping Review using Wiley Online Library, PubMed, and ScienceDirect databases. The research results that match the criteria are then analyzed with the aim of generating these articles.
