This paper reports the development of communicaiton channel prototype equipped with Chaotic cryptographic algorithm with Cipher Feedback mode, implemented on FPGA due to its high processing speed and low delay required for voice channel. Two Spartan-3 FPGA board was used for the purpose, one as transmitter in encryption process and the other as receiver of decryption process. The experimental tests reveal that the voice channel is successfully secured using the encryption-decription cycle for asynchronous communication. In the non-ecrypted channel, the average values of MSE, delay, and THD-N parameters are 0.3513 $textbf{V}^{textbf{2}}$, 202 μs, and 17.52%, respectively, whilethe secured channel produce MSE of 0.3794 $mathbf{V}^{mathbf {2}}$, delay 202 μs, and THD-N 20.45%. Therefore, the original information sent in the encrypted channel can be restored with similar quality compared to the non-encrypted channel.","PeriodicalId":149318,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (ICECOS)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127129245","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nowadays, the mobile game development—especially in a casual genre—is growing. Therefore, the researcher is excited to test the FP method whether it can also be applied to estimating the game development effort. FP method usually consists of 3 main stages: weighing 5 parameters of Unadjusted FP, calculating 14 complexity factors, and calculating Adjusted FP. Survey to 8 casual games was conducted and the value of effort for each one of them has been estimated. So, we conclude that FP is not suitable to forecast the effort of mobile casual games. There are 376 percent deviation between effort estimations and actual effort. The authors suspect, for mobile game development, the game’s point of view needs to be re-adjusted to 5 input parameters, complexity factors, conversion of programming languages, and productivity rate.","PeriodicalId":149318,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (ICECOS)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122493197","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to Salatiga’s industry and cooperative office (Disperindagkop), there are 3.663 MSMEs in Salatiga and 1.450 of which have already registered. The main problem for the owners of MSMEs is the lack of facility in promoting the products, thereby it indicates that there should be media to help promoting MSMEs products. This research uses Collaborative Filtering method which is developed based on Android Platform to count the similarity value between products based on the rating given by the users, to get the recommended products for each user. A batch of datasets which will be processed first, are saved into cloud storage by utilizing Google firebase services.","PeriodicalId":149318,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (ICECOS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128400868","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The signal components consist of a spreading code, residual carrier frequency that has been down-converted to an intermediate frequency and a navigation data. Acquisition phase aim is to coarsely estimate the code delay that shifted due to propagation delay and the carrier frequency that has been heavily influenced by Doppler. Many high-dynamic environment focus on the urban area but this work shifted the interest in highly tropical environment. The high dynamic application such as UAV will face an enormous problem in trying to acquire the signal especially when it is used in a harsh environment such as under the canopy of heavy tropical environment. An in-house synthetic raw signal is generated and the receiver processing using different acquisition strategy is being implemented using MATLAB®. This paper evaluate the performance of serial and parallel acquisition techniques for simulated GPS L1 signal under the assumption of harsh tropical environment and further proposed the performance consideration when dealing with such condition.","PeriodicalId":149318,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (ICECOS)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131975025","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study mainly focuses on comparison of different dielectric materials performances using perforated aluminium to obtain high concentrated ozone. Perforated aluminium with sharp edges used for ozone generation as electrode. Dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) using glass and 96% alumina ceramic have been chosen for limiting discharge current due to its low thermal conductivity and low dielectrics loss when high breakdown voltage occur. Double dielectric barrier using perforated aluminium has been observed using 96% alumina and quartz glass, both within 2 mm thickness. Ozone concentration of alumina ceramic dielectric for 0.5mm space gap was higher than quart glass. However, for 1mm space gap, ozone concentration using quart glass was higher than alumina ceramic. These results lead to optimum condition for DBD using alumina ceramic is not more than 0,5mm space gap.","PeriodicalId":149318,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (ICECOS)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134645813","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The hotel loyalty program describes how customers accumulate and redeem their points in the framework of the program,, and determines the number of benefits customers can receive. Five well-known hotel loyalty programs are chosen as a benchmark to assess their gamification effect with a focus on game sophistication and return on investment. A data-driven approach is employed to analyze the gamification techniques of the points system. The present contribution illustrates how the points system works and the real return on investment from the perspective of marketing. It also shows an advantage of its harmonious combination to attract more potential customers and retain the frequent customers.","PeriodicalId":149318,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (ICECOS)","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130577946","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The communication link uses visible light as a downlink and IR as an uplink communication. The wireless patient monitoring system consists of two parts: host or coordinator and client or patient device. On the patient device part, we designed the PCB with a shield configuration so the AFE module can be connected directly to GPIO’s microcontroller unit (MCU) without any cable. Moreover, the AFE module is attempted to have a similar size with the MCU. Hence, the patient device has a small-size, minimum of wires, wearable, and low-complexity. The AFE receiver output is a digital waveform. Therefore, it is compatible with On-off Keying (OOK) modulation. The AFE module can be switched digitally up to 25 KHz of optical frequency for visible light downlink and 1500 Hz optical frequency for IR uplink. The optical link distance can reach up to 2 meters with 0° of reception angle.","PeriodicalId":149318,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (ICECOS)","volume":"102 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115361063","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
