This study examines how speech signals are recognized in the presence of noise by conducting a recognition process using both clean speech and speech data with additive noise. Spectrograms and Mel Spectrograms have been extracted and tested using a Convolutional Neural Network. Training on noise-free data and on mixed data which has been composed of clean and noisy phoneme signals has been considered. The experimental results showed that model trained with set which includes noisy samples gives better results when classifying signals with noise present compared to noise-free trained model. It was also revealed that Mel Spectrograms represent noisy signals better than Spectrograms.","PeriodicalId":149255,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE 10th Jubilee Workshop on Advances in Information, Electronic and Electrical Engineering (AIEEE)","volume":"31 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131593464","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On the one hand, UAVs has a wide range of civilian, industrial, and military applications. On the other hand, the popularity of UAVs can lead to illegal or dangerous usage. Thus, the development of UAV recognition systems is crucial for ensuring safety and security. However, collecting and labeling large amounts of real-world data for training these systems can be time-consuming and labor-intensive.In this study, we propose a methodology, which can help to accelerate the development of new UAV recognition systems. This work demonstrates the effectiveness of training a neural network using a combination of real-world and synthetic data that can achieve similar performance to a network trained on real-world data only.","PeriodicalId":149255,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE 10th Jubilee Workshop on Advances in Information, Electronic and Electrical Engineering (AIEEE)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121348691","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Medical applications are one of the most important fields with such complex environment, where effective lighting plays a crucial role. Almost all available in the market surgical lighting systems have cooling systems with limited efficiency, which decreases lifetime of the whole system. Also, the position of the luminaire can be changed only manually. However, positioning of such luminaire can be controlled and tuned automatically, without the interference of the user. Also, it is important to change the intensity of the light. This paper describes the control unit of such configurable luminaire, explains principles of its automatic spatial configuring and real time regulation of its intensity of the light.","PeriodicalId":149255,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE 10th Jubilee Workshop on Advances in Information, Electronic and Electrical Engineering (AIEEE)","volume":"295 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116252180","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is especially crucial in surgical lighting equipment. Nowadays, almost all available surgical luminaires are bulky and can be positioned only manually. However, it can be beneficial, if during operation luminaire could adapt to changing environment and position of the luminaire could be tuned automatically (for example, to avoid shadowing). This paper presents the development of light generation schemes of such adaptive luminaire, needed to provide effective lighting of the area. The calculation of reflector of such luminaire is also presented in the paper.","PeriodicalId":149255,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE 10th Jubilee Workshop on Advances in Information, Electronic and Electrical Engineering (AIEEE)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123490964","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
