More precisely, it is about the use of the Bayesian filtering on the prognosis problem. The aim of the proposed approach is to identify the damage function parameter by using an Ensemble Kalman Filter (EnKF), then, estimate the Remaining Useful Life (RUL) by a probabilistic analysis of this damage trajectories. The relevance of the proposed approach is illustrated through the helicopter gearbox crack propagation.","PeriodicalId":149249,"journal":{"name":"2016 5th International Conference on Systems and Control (ICSC)","volume":"108 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122517710","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this study is to model spatial variation of this parameter to elaborate its cartography on the Tensift Basin. The Map is elaborated using the geostatistical method of kriging. This tool is a general method of statistical interpolation that can be applied within any discipline to sampled data from random fields that satisfy the appropriate mathematical assumptions. In our case several reference functions (exponential model, spherical, linear, Gaussian and cubic) were used for modeling the kriging variogram. Cross validation enabled a comparison between the results of these models and choice of spherical model with anisotropy and trend fit by a second-order polynomial as the most suitable. The use of available series of annual maximum daily rainfall recorded at 23 rainfall stations, distributed over the Tensift basin, led also to develop the cartography of standard prediction errors' values associated to the predicted parameter for each point of Tensift basin. These errors vary from acceptable values (16.8%) to very high ones depending on the density of the rainfall stations at the desired site.","PeriodicalId":149249,"journal":{"name":"2016 5th International Conference on Systems and Control (ICSC)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124029729","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Considering the new uncertain TCP flow model, a memoryless H∞ robust controller is designed to guarantee the stability and performance under time-varying network conditions. This latter can be best handled in an automatic procedure. It's essential that control used in such a scheme be robust to any kind of disturbances and parameters uncertainties. In this paper, Bergman's minimal model is used as a starting point in an effort to regulate efficiently glucose level using synergetic control which is then compared to the application of second order sliding mode. These two proven robust control techniques can handle adequately uncertainties to a great extent through their invariance properties. Our contribution shows that synergetic methodology provides better performance. It is obvious that obtaining system parameters exact values is unrealistic in most biological systems, therefore all model parameters will be considered uncertain. Parametric uncertainty will be exploited in developing a control scheme based on a closed-loop feedback strategy. The behavior of the obtained controller is analyzed on its ability to track a normoglycemic in presence of disturbance and perturbed parameters. A comparative study of the application of the two techniques is carried out showing through simulation results that the synergetic control approach offers stronger robustness in performance compared to sliding mode control, despite disturbances.","PeriodicalId":149249,"journal":{"name":"2016 5th International Conference on Systems and Control (ICSC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129552443","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In fact, the examples chosen are represented via the Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model. Then, the asymptotic stability is achieved throw the design of a fuzzy-model-based controllers, based on so-called <;<;parallel distributed compensation>> (PDC). The fuzzy controllers satisfying the stability are got by solving linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) using the numerical simulation on Matlab which verify the results needed. Controllers with constant parameters are often insufficient for controlling complex systems, as the induction motor drive systems, that are subject to the large variations of the rotor resistance and to the various load torques during their normal operating cycles. More sophisticated controllers are required, such Self-Tuning Controllers, which in presence of variations of motor parameters, are able to change their features to maintain the desired behavior. The aim of the proposed approach is to design a new Fuzzy Self-Tuning IP Speed Controller, where the controller coefficients are adjusted continuously by a fuzzy inference system. The second problem is related to the update of the control input which involves the recipe changes so as to reduce operational cost. In this paper, qualitative observations can be collected alternatively [1] to deal with Run-To-Run control and the proposed control law does not regulate the process input at every run. This is the case when the output evolves within a desired specification domain. Simulation results are presented to clarify this point and show the feasibility of the approach.","PeriodicalId":149249,"journal":{"name":"2016 5th International Conference on Systems and Control (ICSC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127070024","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
