As we all known, the patch centered a fix pixel in an image is in dynamic change when adapting some image processing algorithms, and in the classical non-local model, the weights are set to be constant. For example, in the non-local guided filter methods, the non-local weights need to fine tune according to other parameter and the guidance. To fix this problem, we improve the non-local models by employing the fuzzy sets theory. In this way, the global information are accumulated with fuzzy weights in its iterative optimization. In this paper, a fuzzy non-local image guided filter and average methods (FNLGFF and FNLGAF) are proposed and show good performance in many image processing tasks by utilizing the fuzzy weighted non-local similarity of the guidance image. This fuzzy model shows more reliable weighted filtered and averaged image results when handle image noise by update the non-local information in every iteration. In this process, it also suppresses the low similarity values of the guidance image and boosts high similarity values. Experimental results on several image processing tasks including image denoising and image dehazing verify the superiority of our fuzzy non-local image guided approaches.","PeriodicalId":148453,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Fuzzy Theory and Its Applications (iFUZZY)","volume":"157 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116409499","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Classifiers are the main models used to predict future events. Data processed by preprocessors are employed to train classifiers and generate information for predicting future events. In this study, the data preprocessor includes four steps (1) data imputation (2) outlier detection (3) data distretization (4) feature selection. Different classifiers are suitable for different data preprocessors; and this procedure can be treated as a classification decision process. The classification decision process influences the classification accuracy. In previous literature, experts usually used trial and error method to determine the classification decision process. However, the trial and error process is time-consuming and cannot guarantee to obtain the best classification decision process. This study uses meta-huristics to yield the near optimal classification decision process. Some data in UCI library were used to demonstrate the performance of proposed method. Finally, the experimental results, limitations of proposed method and future research directions were presented.","PeriodicalId":148453,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Fuzzy Theory and Its Applications (iFUZZY)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132623852","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The vague weighting values and vague rating values can be solicited from a vague polling method previously proposed by one of the authors. By using a weighted aggregation function, weighted aggregated vague value for each alternative can be derived by multiplying the vague weighting vector with vague rating vector. The aggregated vague values of alternatives are further transformed into comparable numerical scores by using a new score function proposed in this study. Finally, an illustrative example and comparison analysis are provided to demonstrate that the proposed new score function provides an easily computable and reasonable way for handling vague based multi-criteria decision making problems.","PeriodicalId":148453,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Fuzzy Theory and Its Applications (iFUZZY)","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125196554","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Unlike the classical formation control problem where the reference signal is required to be second-order differentiable with respect to time, we consider a more general autonomous dynamic system as the reference system. A novel adaptive fuzzy output regulation approach is presented to solve the formation control problem, where a set of regulator equations using only approximation information and a distributed observer are constructed to obtain the feedforward information of the reference system. Based upon this, a distributed adaptive fuzzy control law is designed by using the backstepping technique. It is shown that USVs can effectively achieve the desired formation with the tracking error being adjusted as small as possible. Simulation studies demonstrate that the proposed formation control law is effective and efficient.","PeriodicalId":148453,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Fuzzy Theory and Its Applications (iFUZZY)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115069951","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are many approaches that have been used to obtain the distance between the robot and objects. The approaches could be divided into passive and active indoor navigation technologies. However, passive indoor navigation technology usually requires pre-construction of indoor places. It could not be navigated well in an unknown room environment. Therefore, active navigation technology already has become the main solution currently. In this paper, the computer vision technology is used to extract laser points, and use the range finder triangulation measurement method to measure the relationship between the laser point and the camera plane. With the use of rotating device, our system could create a 360 degrees environment map. The proposed LIDAR system could be used to model and measure the distance in a room.","PeriodicalId":148453,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Fuzzy Theory and Its Applications (iFUZZY)","volume":"109 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132161915","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First, we give the formal definition of CFS which is generalization of the definition given by Wang. And then, within the framework of T2 fuzzy theory, we also give the definitions of embedded CFS, vertical slice and horizontal slice. Different from those of T2 FS with T1, blur and weight representation that is well known by T2 fuzzy community, vertical slices of CFS are extremely complicated, which often obey unconventional fuzzy distributions that need to be calculated by extension principle (EP). Comfortingly, mathematical expressions of its horizontal slices are simple and easy-to-use with a small number of parameters. Finally, two examples are proposed to show the effectiveness and validity of these concepts above. In conclusion, they provide fundamental mathematical methods for further applications.","PeriodicalId":148453,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Fuzzy Theory and Its Applications (iFUZZY)","volume":"141 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131097183","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
