This collaboration led to the subsequent excavation of Nunalleq, an important ancestral site threatened by climate change. Since then, an international research team has partnered with Yup’ik leadership in Quinhagak to address the larger impact of climate change. In turn, this article introduces Nalaquq—our framework for combining custom sensor networks with traditional knowledge to study ellavut (trans. “Our land and weather”). Doing so provides a guide for communication scholars interested in working alongside Indigenous circumpolar communities to visualize and communicate climate science.","PeriodicalId":14832,"journal":{"name":"J. The main reason for using Reed–Muller and Polar codes is to protect the information bits to be transmitted while providing error correction capability and improved PAPR performance to the transmitted signal. Although OFDM-IM technology is a popular communication transmission technology recently, one of its disadvantages is that the transmitted signal has a high PAPR. The proposed method uses the Hamming weight distribution of the specific order Reed–Muller code to create a corresponding lookup table to select the subcarriers that are active in the OFDM-IM system. Moreover, it can correct errors in the information used. The proposed method also uses Polar codes as a channel encoder of the OFDM-IM system to analyze its performance in improving the PAPR. The simulation results show that method can not only improve the PAPR performance of OFDM-IM systems but also provide OFDM-IM transmission-signal error correction capacity.","PeriodicalId":14832,"journal":{"name":"J. As a result of their high bandwidth availability and high data transfer speed, network operators recommended switching to higher frequencies. In communications via distance, the antenna plays a significant role in the transmission of the electrical radiated signal or the receiving of the electromagnetic signal. Many antennas can be utilized, one of which is the Microstrip Patch (MP) antenna. These antennas are very prevalent for their ease of configuration and design. On the other hand, it suffers from a lack of gain. In this research article, an MP antenna and MP antenna array are introduced and designed based on computer simulation technology antenna modelling software for 5G based-28 GHz applications. In order to optimise and enhance the simulated MP antenna parameters, the mushroom-like Electromagnetic Band Gap (EBG) is embedded with the MP antenna and MP antenna array to eliminate the presence of the surface waves that affecting negatively on the antenna gain. According to the simulation results, the gain is enhanced after utilising the mushroom-like EBG to be 6.48 dBi and significantly after applying the array configuration to be 11.9 dBi.","PeriodicalId":14832,"journal":{"name":"J. IoT establishes wireless communication between numerous physical things to connect them over the Internet, as a result, these things may seriously pollute the environment for electromagnetic propagation. This paper proposes an efficient beamformer based on binary bat algorithm for interference suppression in wireless technology applications. The proposed beamformer utilizes the technique of controlling only the phase of excitation weights in uniform rectangular arrays. This beamformer can produce optimal patterns with minimal distortions in sidelobe regions while maintaining the main lobe and placing nulls in the direction of interfering signals. To demonstrate this ability, the proposed beamformer is evaluated through several scenarios and compared to a beamformer based on Binary Particle Swarm Optimization (BPSO). The results show that the proposed beamformer maintains the main lobe toward the desired user direction while imposing nulls in unwanted user directions (interferences) and that it surpassed BPSO-based beamformers in terms of convergence speed and interference suppression ability.","PeriodicalId":14832,"journal":{"name":"J. The proposed method is based on asymmetric encryption algorithm. This paper analyzes the composition structure of cellular network to establish the network architecture model and master the communication characteristics. The public key system is constructed using the certification center, service provider and users, and the asymmetric encryption process. The public key system is analyzed to obtain the encrypted cipher-text by optimizing the integer grouping method. Overall, results show that the proposed research achieves a higher throughput, and reduces bit error rate compared to the state-of-the-art methods. Results and findings suggest that the proposed transmission method can improve reduce the probability of data theft, and reduces transmission energy consumption to ensure data transmission security from multiple aspects.","PeriodicalId":14832,"journal":{"name":"J. In this work, the Internet of things (IoT) played a vital role in designing a platform to monitor a farm wirelessly, reducing human involvement, allowing remote observing, and remote control of the design using a public IP address based cross-platform, Apache, MySQL, PHP and Perl (XAMPP) Apache package. A cloud is appealing when a wireless sensor network generates a lot of data. Cloud-based wireless communication systems are being tested to monitor and manage a set of sensors and actuators to estimate paddy (rice) water requirements in a particular location. The proposed design shows robust interaction between two microcontrollers to deal with different sensors and simultaneously act as a WiFi unit. The row data obtained from the sensors is uploaded to the cloud through specific Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) files to store and fetch the data from the database. Through the programming method, the system focuses on tracking the paddy growing value and the amount of water available in the soil, which should be around (10 Kpa) for an optimum paddy environment. The results emphasized that 80% of water is retained when a maximal 10 Kpa of soil moisture is achieved.","PeriodicalId":14832,"journal":{"name":"J. Comput. Mediat.
