Filho","doi":"10.1145/1377501.1377506","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1145/1377501.1377506","url":null,"abstract":"Cette these a pour sujet la conception de scenarios pedagogiques destines a l'e-formation. Afin de faciliter les echanges de materiaux decrivant des strategies pedagogiques, la communaute s'est recemment mobilisee pour proposer un langage standard suffisamment generique pour permettre la representation de n'importe quel scenario, independant meme du paradigme educationnel sous-jacent. Appele generiquement Educational Modeling Language (EML), ce type de langage engendre une nouvelle facon de concevoir des EIAH, en s'eloignant du traditionnel Instructional System Design, une fois que, au lieu de proposer une application finie, les EML proposent un modele conceptuel standard, une notation pour l'exprimer et des editeurs et frameworks, laissant aux concepteurs finaux la tâche de creer leurs propres « applications ». Les EMLs permettent alors la creation et execution d'instances de scenarios, dans une approche plus ouverte et flexible, augmentant, ainsi, les possibilites d'adaptation des applications resultantes aux besoins des usagers. Cette flexibilite reste pourtant limitee et, apres quelques annees de recherche, les EMLs commencent a montrer ses faiblesses. En fait, le langage choisi pour devenir le standard du domaine, le IMS-LD, s'est montre generique, certes, mais peu expressive, ne permettant pas une representation fidele des divers scenarios existants. C'est a dire, c'est aux usagers de s'adapter a la syntaxe et semantique de cet standard. Cette these part d'un constat quant aux difficultes du processus de conception lui-meme, et aux risques de coupure qu'il peut y avoir entre pedagogues et developpeurs de logiciels. Pour ameliorer la capacite des equipes pedagogiques a pouvoir specifier, et meme implementer, des scenarios pedagogiques, nous proposons une approche ou c'est l'EML qui doit s'adapter aux besoins de l'usager. L'usager a la possibilite de creer son propre langage (ou ses propres langages), s'il en a besoin. En plus, un meme scenario peut etre decrit en meme temps par des differents EMLs (ou modeles) respectant des differents perspectives - et meme paradigmes - de chaque stake holder. Cette approche, appelee multi-EML, est possible grâce aux avancees recentes du genie logiciel, telle l'Architecture Dirigee par les Modeles – l'implementation la plus connue d'un nouvel paradigme de programmation surnomme Languages Oriented Programming (LOP), qui inclut encore d'autres implementations. Notre proposition reside dans la conception d'un environnement informatique « auteur », qui repose sur les principes des Languages Oriented Programming, en utilisant la plateforme ouverte ECLIPSE et, plus particulierement son implementation du LOP, l'Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF). Ainsi, les concepteurs auront un outil qui leur permettra de creer des specifications formelles decrivant les scenarios envisages et d'en generer automatiquement des applications correspondantes, dans un processus qui demarre avec les descriptions informelles des experts du","PeriodicalId":147920,"journal":{"name":"SIGWEB Newsl.","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128569863","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Unlike many visitors to Manchester they weren't here to witness the city's much heralded football team, but had gathered instead at the University of Manchester for the 18th International Conference on Hypertext and Hypermedia (Hypertext 2007). Here they would discuss recent innovations in hypertext, whose most famous form exists as the World Wide Web, and assess the challenges and opportunities in the latest groundbreaking research. Traditionally the success of the Hypertext conference series has been attributed to its immense diversity, and this year was no different, with papers being divided into 5 varied tracks: Hypertext and the Person; Hypertext and Society; Practical Hypertext; Hypertext Culture and Communication; and Hypertext Models and Theory. The conference was a vibrant affair that featured 16 full papers and 7 short papers (with a 29% overall acceptance rate), posters, demos, keynotes, panels, Birds-of-a-Feather (BOFs) and social events. However, what characterized this year's conference the most was an underlying sense of reintegration, a rejoining of disparate trends in hypertext to common goals. And as such a lot of unity and camaraderie too.","PeriodicalId":147920,"journal":{"name":"SIGWEB Newsl.","volume":"101 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115241567","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This former industrial Mecca will turn truly high-tech when JCDL 2008 and Hypertext 2008 take place! The conferences are being hosted by the School of Information Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. JCDL (the Joint Digital Libraries Conference) will take place June 16--20, 2008. It is immediately followed by Hypertext 2008 on June 19--21, 2008. Together, the conferences will welcome more than 450 scholars, industry professionals, students, and researchers to Pittsburgh. It is not the first time that these two conferences have been presented together. Following our conference themes of \"linking people and places\" and \"Bridging Culture, Bridging Technology,\" it is of interest to note that the ACM Hypertext and Digital Libraries conferences were co-located in Pittsburgh in 1998. This was extremely appropriate as the Hypertext Conference examines one of the core technologies that support the development and management of digital libraries. Soon after 1998, the Digital Libraries Conference evolved into the Joint Conference on Digital Libraries (JCDL), a stand-alone event. It is only fitting that Hypertext is again linked to JCDL in Pittsburgh ten years later.","PeriodicalId":147920,"journal":{"name":"SIGWEB Newsl.","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132448961","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
