The aim of the work is to develop an algorithm for geoecological assessment of phytoremediation features when using plants, taking into account the conditions of anthropogenic soil pollution with heavy metals, as well as physiological characteristics and species-specific reactions under abiotic and biotic stress. For the quantitative determination of flavonoids in Fallopia Sachalinensis, a spectrophotometric method was used in the work on a Shimadzu – UV 1800 instrument using a complexing additive – 5% aluminum chloride solution, to determine the content of tannins, the redox titration method was used, in order to detect amino acids, qualitative reactions were carried out with aqueous extraction for three copies of each sample. Quantitative determination of amino acids in the studied samples is carried out on the AAA-339 amino acid analyzer (Czechoslovakia). Approbation of the algorithm on Fallopia Sachalinensis under conditions of anthropogenic contamination of soils of the Bashkir Trans-Urals with heavy metals showed that the plant has an indicator potential, but excludes the production of natural biologically active substances from biomass. At the same time, Fallopia Sachalinensis is resistant to soil pollution with heavy metals and has an increased resistance to industrial pollution, and the possibility of using it as an indicator of soil pollution has also been determined","PeriodicalId":147615,"journal":{"name":"The Bulletin of Irkutsk State University. The following tasks have been solved: 1) determination of the morphometric characteristics of lakes using methods of remote sensing of the Earth; 2) identification of anomalous morphometric characteristics by mathematical methods; 3) expert evaluation of the lakes resulting from the analysis to confirm their unique characteristics for the purpose of subsequent research and assigning them a special status. The relevance of the work is caused by the vastness and inaccessibility of the northern regions, which leads to the need for preliminary identification of objects that are most interesting for expeditionary research. In protected areas, objects that differ in their anomalous characteristics may be of particular interest. The test region of the study was limited by the boundaries of specially protected natural areas of the NAO. The deciphering of the lakes was carried out using the Global Forest Change data set. Raster processing and extraction of areal characteristics of water bodies were carried out in the QGIS software environment. The entire data set was divided into several groups according to the genetic category of the surface, which were also analyzed when identifying anomalies. This approach makes it possible to identify anomalous objects within a particular landscape. For data processing, the IBM SPSS Modeler software application was used, where the anomaly search is based on a two-stage clustering model. The search for anomalies by cluster methods is based on the fact that if the values of an instance are removed from the center of the cluster by more than a certain amount, then the object is considered an anomaly. As a result of applying the TwoStep Cluster algorithm to the sample of morphometric parameters of lakes, 42 anomalous objects were identified. The expert assessment confirmed that the identified lakes are of interest for further research. The final set included such well-known lakes as Golodnaya Guba, Peschanka-To, Kuznetskoe-To, as well as a number of small water bodies that stand out sharply for their peculiar characteristics in comparison with most of the lakes in the study region. For sparsely populated and logistically complex northern territories, the use of such an approach is an important element of field work planning.","PeriodicalId":147615,"journal":{"name":"The Bulletin of Irkutsk State University. The methodological basis for the study and assessment of the natural tourist and recreational potential of rivers was the conceptual model of the tourist and recreational assessment of the natural potential of rivers, the methodology of the integrated tourist and recreational assessment of the natural potential of rivers, based on the structure of the types of its tourist and recreational use of rivers and the system of differentiated target indicators in their context, developed on the basis of the principles ecological and technical safety, physiological and climatic comfort and landscape and aesthetic attractiveness. The approbation of the system of target indicators in the context of the types of tourists and recreational use of the natural potential of rivers allowed for its comprehensive assessment, which is a multimedia effect from the integration of a triplex of biomedical, technological, and psychological-aesthetic types of assessment. The obtained quantitative results of a comprehensive tourist and recreational assessment of the natural potential of rivers at a multi-scale level (plot – percentage of plots in the region – percentage of plots in the country) allowed to identify the profile of their tourist and recreational use and the genesis of their limiting factors, as well as to carry out their geographical interpretation, which allowed to establish patterns and features of their placements at different spatial levels. As a result of a comprehensive assessment, three groups of limiting factors were identified for all types of tourists and recreational use at the regional level: general, special, and individual, while for amateur fishing and amateur hunting there are only two groups represented by general and special. As a result of a comprehensive assessment of the natural tourism and recreational potential of rivers in a multi-scale format, its geographical patterns and features were determined, which allowed creating a basis for developing a strategy for the development of aquatic tourism on the rivers of Belarus as one of the promising areas of domestic tourism in the complex epidemiological conditions of the modern stage.","PeriodicalId":147615,"journal":{"name":"The Bulletin of Irkutsk State University. In impact diamonds from the Popigai astrobleme, the cubic phase and lonsdaleite are intergrown. In order to study the relationship of lonsdaleite-bearing impact diamonds with diamond, an experimental study of the features of diamond growth on lonsdaleite-bearing fragments was carried out. The experiments were carried out on a high-pressure apparatus of the “BARS” type at 5.5 GPa and 1450 ° C in the Fe-Ni-C system (nickel 36 wt.%). Impact Popigai diamonds were used as seed crystals. As a result of the study, it was found that the newly formed crystals are represented by a cubic phase, while the lonsdaleite in the seed crystals was preserved and the lonsdaleite / diamond ratio did not change. The newly formed cubic diamond in its main properties (Raman spectra, morphology, color, etc.) corresponds to synthetic diamonds grown in the iron-nickel system. The difference between the growth of crystals on seeds of impact diamonds and growth on a single-crystal seed of diamond was that the nucleation of crystals began from different points of the seed of the impact diamond. Multi-headed growth was observed and, as a result, an intergrowth of diamond crystals was formed. Probably, the initial misorientation of the points of nucleation of subindividuals leads to multi-headed growth of crystals in an intergrowth, in contrast to single-crystal growth of diamond on a single- crystal seed.","PeriodicalId":147615,"journal":{"name":"The Bulletin of Irkutsk State University. These are predictive estimates of possible changes in the runoff of the Neva River as a result of climate change and the possible consequences of an emergency at the Krasny Bor toxic wastes landfill. The tasks were solved using the methods of mathematical modeling. Scenarios RCP 2.6 and RCP 8.5 are taken as the basis for predicting possible climate changes - the best and worst in terms of environmental impact. Runoff calculations using the specified climate scenarios showed an increase in runoff under the RCP 8.5 scenario and its decrease under the RCP 2.6 scenario. It has been established that the process of dilution of discharged pollutants from the Krasny Bor landfill as they transport towards the water intakes of St. Petersburg depends on the emergency scenario, hydrological conditions, and the choice of maximum permissible concentrations value for each chemical. The negative impact of the destruction of the embankment of pits with pollutants may be insignificant for municipal water intakes due to dilution processes in the hydrographic network of the catchment. At the same time, hypothetical catastrophic scenarios (terrorist attack, earthquake) in some cases can lead to serious problems with water quality in municipal water intakes.","PeriodicalId":147615,"journal":{"name":"The Bulletin of Irkutsk State University.
