It has been proven to be effective in several recent studies that utilize structure in the intermediate image to estimate a blur kernel. However, these methods ignore to extract blurry structure from input blurry image. This will cause imbalance in the objective function and introduce artifact errors into the deconvolution process. In this paper we will first exploit a mask determined by convolution of an intermediate image with a kernel to generate blurry structure, and then take it into data term instead of blurry image to overcome the problem. Moreover, we employ sparse prior of kernel and propose a novel L0 regularization for accurate kernel estimation. Experiments across datasets showed that our algorithm achieved the state-of-the-art motion deblurring results.","PeriodicalId":147245,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Information Photonics","volume":"2677 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125747511","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Unlike the conventional watermarking techniques, the watermark energy after the RDE embedding does not focus on a fixed direction, hence the proposed technique is secure against the traditional unauthorized watermark removal attack. The important merit of the RDE watermarking is that it achieves the security without loss of robustness. Compared with the existing secure watermarking techniques, such as natural watermarking (NW), the RDE watermarking achieves significant improvement in terms of robustness. On the other hand, it is also more robust than the spread spectrum watermarking techniques, which have been demonstrated to be very insecure.","PeriodicalId":147245,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Information Photonics","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125239280","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We define an energy functional with both local and global intensity fitting term. A time-varying function is introduced to balance the local and the global intensity term, which combines the advantages of these two terms naturally. Based on this time-varying function, the proposed model possesses both local separability and global consistency. Specifically, local separability helps to tackle the intensity inhomogeneous problem, while global consistency makes the segmentation result insensitive to the initialization. The proposed model is finally incorporated into a level set formulation. Experimental results on both synthetic and real images demonstrate the superior performance of our model.","PeriodicalId":147245,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Information Photonics","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134401860","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We propose a “zeroth class” trick for detecting undiscriminating frames of the test video and eliminating them before voting on the action categories. In this context, the reconstructed image is divided into multiple regions, each one with a different resolution. This problem arises in situations where the image to reconstruct contains a certain region of interest (RoI) that is more important than the rest. Through a theoretical analysis and simulation experiments we show that the multi-resolution reconstruction provides a higher quality of the RoI compared to the traditional single-resolution approach.","PeriodicalId":147245,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Information Photonics","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-02-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125974956","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
