The method is based on an integral Laplace transform, modified Prudnikov model for its inversion, methods of boundary integral equations and minimization of corresponding criterion functions. The methodological feature of the approach is based on a concept of effective induced impedances of electric and magnetic types, which is used for solutions of boundary value problems. A characteristic feature of problems of this class is the non-uniqueness and branching of solutions depending on the physical parameters of array. The existence of several types of real solutions is shown. More effective complex solutions branch off from such solutions. In the analysis, we use mathematically grounded Lasing Eigenvalue Problem formalism, according to which at the threshold the natural-mode frequency is considered real-valued. We look for it as a part of two-component eigenvalue, together with the corresponding threshold value of material gain in the quantum wires. To build characteristic equation, we use the field expansions in local coordinates of each wire and addition theorems for cylindrical functions. The obtained determinantal equation has a guaranteed convergence. The idea of the MAS application for this problem related to the holography principle and is based on the properties of field’s analyticity and uniqueness of its analytical continuation up to the singularities. The analysis is done in the comparison with properties of the structure in frequency domain including behavior of zeros of frequency characteristic. It is assumed that the waveguide fully and partially filled with an anisotropic magnetodielectric medium. Wave equations and analytical expressions for transverse electric (TE) and transverse magnetic (TM) fields both in the waveguide and in various regions of the waveguide in the presence of a plate of finite length in it have been found. Energies of transient radiation of the particle moving in a rectangular waveguide have been calculated. Modeling of the filter can be done at the circuit level or at 3D field level with full-wave Method of Moments (MoM). On first step RF components of filter are modeled based on calculated or measured s-parameters. Circuit level model can be enhanced by including stray RLC parameters of the PCB traces calculated with 3D quasi-static/quasi-magnetic approach.
