With the overflow probability of queue system, the analytic formulas about resource allocation are obtained. The results are succinct and effective. Existing recovery schemes for mobile environments typically either create global consistent checkpoints that don't guarantee independent recovery or can only support mobile-MSS-mobile (m-MSS-m) communication that exchanged messages among mobile hosts are forwarded by MSSs. We present a recovery protocol based on message logging for mobile host direct to mobile host(m-m) communication wireless network. The m-m communication benefits a less contention on the wireless network and a lower latency for message transmission than m-MSS-m. We optimize code parameters of LDPC codes according to the rate of each level by Gaussian approximation. Iterative multistage decoding (IMSD) scheme is adopted to get the significant improvement. System performance with Ungerboeck partitioning (UP) and mixed partitioning (MP) for 8PSK is evaluated respectively over additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channels. In a parallel switch with input queues, the high-speed packets will queue in the input buffer for scheduling, which can highly reduce the control complexity and the internal speedup. We refer to parallel switch with input queues as buffered parallel switch (BPS). Since the switch fabrics in a BPS are working parallel and independently, we address the open issue of switch fabrics' load-balancing and propose a family of distributed scheduling algorithms. We also prove that such load-balancing algorithms can guarantee the delay time of the BPS. Simulation results show the validity and performance of our load-balancing algorithm. DWDM, with its transmission rate at tens of tera bits per second in a single fiber, becomes the most promising candidate for such convergence. However, switching techniques in DWDM have not yet fledged for such a merged high-speed network. We present a novel concept called the physical frame time-slot switching (PFTS). With PFTS, transmission time of a fixed-length physical frame is defined as a \"time-slot\", and used for multiplexing a single lambda channel and for user data switching over a DWDM platform. A maximum length of Ethernet MAC frame is exactly fitted into a PFT (physical frame time-slot), and one or more PFT(s) can be assigned to a time-critical user data stream according to required QoS parameters, such as throughput and time delay. PFT switching operates in an asynchronous mode on the basis of single PFT in a lambda; and hence eliminates the need of lambda switching and global synchronization among clocks in a network. A different network also has a different IP packet length distribution. The IP packet processing methods of many nonATM network nodes are similar with segment and reassemble (SAR). The payload length of the cell is fixed. When the network node is placed in a network, a large number of redundant bytes, which result from the zero-pads and headers being used, decrease the processing bandwidth. When a well-designed node is placed in a different network with different distribution, the processing bandwidth of the node may be even lower. We present an adaptive IP packet SAR processing solution, which can adapt the traffic of the network. Adams et al. (1994)], a fast semiautomatic algorithm for segmentation of intensity images. We have found, however, that as originally described the algorithm can fail if some sections of a connected segment is narrow. The failure results, for example, in a loss of details or an undue dependence of seed placement. The remedy is a careful processing of the boundary pixels. It introduces the generic architecture of the distributed data integration. Then the Data Engine based on OPC specification is designed and the performance evaluation is done.
