It begins by introducing the definition and importance of urban public spaces in modern cities, as well as the role of environmental art design in enhancing these spaces. The importance of urban public space reconstruction is then discussed, highlighting the benefits of well-designed and functional public spaces. The concept and elements of environmental art design, such as aesthetic appeal, integration with the natural environment, and eco-friendliness, are explained, along with an exploration of different forms of environmental art. The impact of environmental art design on urban public space reconstruction is analyzed, including its contribution to visual appeal, creating a sense of place and identity within communities, and promoting sustainable urban environments. The challenges and considerations in implementing environmental art design in urban public space reconstruction are also discussed, emphasizing the importance of cost, maintenance, public acceptance, community engagement, and cultural sensitivity. Case studies are presented to showcase successful projects that effectively utilized environmental art design in urban public space reconstruction, along with an analysis of their impact on surrounding communities and the urban environment.","PeriodicalId":144072,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Civil Engineering and Urban Planning","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134980072","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At present, it is urgent to carry out systematic research on the rapid quantitative evaluation of its safety, and the critical wind speed is one of its main indicators. From the perspective of the safety critical wind speed of light steel buildings, this paper proposes a calculation method for the critical wind speed of light steel buildings along the high-speed rail line through theoretical derivation research, and conducts regularity research. Under the condition of , the critical wind speed of the roof panel structure gradually decreases with the increase of the span and tends to be stable; under the conditions of the same site and the same design span, the critical wind speed of the roof panel structure increases gradually with the increase of the screw spacing and tends to be stable; when the structural design span is the same as the number of screws, the critical wind speed of the simply supported beam is greater than the critical wind speed of the continuous beam; the critical wind speed of the two-span continuous beam structure is the smallest, and when the continuous beam is greater than or equal to five spans, its critical wind speed tends to a fixed value, and then provides technical support for ensuring the safety of the environment outside the high-speed railway along the line.","PeriodicalId":144072,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Civil Engineering and Urban Planning","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135758611","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By utilizing advanced information and communication technologies, smart cities realize the intelligence of urban infrastructure, public services and management, thus enhancing the sustainable development of cities and the quality of life of residents. However, the traditional smart city model has some limitations, such as high construction cost and fixed infrastructure layout. Therefore, floating city, as an innovative form of smart city, has unique advantages and potentials. Floating city refers to a city model based on advanced mobile and wireless communication technologies that provides city functions and services to residents and users in a movable way. Compared with traditional fixed smart cities, floating cities have several advantages. First, floating cities are highly flexible and scalable. As its infrastructure and services can be moved and adjusted at any time, adapting to the needs of different regions. Second, floating cities can better meet the personalized needs of the people. Through mobile technology and smart devices, residents can enjoy more personalized services and conveniences to enhance their quality of life. In addition, floating cities can better respond to emergencies and disasters and provide flexible emergency relief and services. This paper explores the future development path of floating cities as smart cities by analyzing the current situation and trend of smart city development.","PeriodicalId":144072,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Civil Engineering and Urban Planning","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135449670","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, in the context of the rapid development of the construction industry, there are more and more safety hazards in buildings, and steel structure fire protection design is particularly important. Fire, as an important factor affecting the safety of buildings and people's lives and property, needs to be taken seriously in the design process of building steel structures. Steel itself does not burn, but as a metal, it has good thermal conductivity. In the event of a fire, it only takes more than ten minutes to reach the critical temperature of the steel itself. The steel's load-bearing capacity sharply weakens, causing building collapse, causing casualties and economic losses. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out fire prevention treatment for steel structure buildings, and currently there are many fire prevention methods applicable to steel structure buildings. How to reasonably select the fire prevention methods suitable for prefabricated steel structure buildings is also a problem faced by designers. Based on this, this article analyzes the hazards of steel structure buildings themselves, understands the problems in fire protection of steel structure buildings, and proposes countermeasures to strengthen fire protection of steel structure buildings, aiming to improve the fire performance of steel structure buildings.","PeriodicalId":144072,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Civil Engineering and Urban Planning","volume":"113 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135106184","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
