The groups of correlated images exist in many practical cases. These are, for example, the components (spectrum bands) of the multispectral images, the sequences of the computer tomography images, video sequences from surveillance TV cameras with fixed spatial position, video information from TV microscopes, etc. The new Hierarchical Transform is reversible. It results in high decorrelation of the processed groups of images and ensures high power concentration in the former in the group, called “eigen”. The decorrelation, achieved through the AHT is close in efficiency to the “classic” PCA, but has lower computational complexity. Besides, the structure of the AHT algorithm is extremely suitable for parallel processing. In the paper are also given some experimental results for the algorithm modeling, applied on sequences of CT images. The computational complexity of the AHT algorithm is compared with this of the classic PCA.","PeriodicalId":144044,"journal":{"name":"2013 11th International Conference on Telecommunications in Modern Satellite, Cable and Broadcasting Services (TELSIKS)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128482443","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Electrical basis functions are based on either modified orthogonal polynomials or prolate spheroidal wave functions, while optical ones on polarization and spatial mode states. The proposed scheme is both multi-Tb/s and beyond 100 Tb/s enabling technology. Additionally, the proposed scheme provides the adaptive, software-defined, and dynamic allocation of bandwidth with fine granularity. The Selva's interpolator has been used for design and implementation of fractional delay filters. The filter has been designed using an approximate prolate window. However, the frequency response of the filter has not been analyzed. In this contribution, we analyze the frequency response of Selva's interpolator and we compare it to the Farrow structure. Finally, we show that Selva's interpolator can have very selective frequency domain performance, and thus it can be effectively used in some DSP applications.","PeriodicalId":144044,"journal":{"name":"2013 11th International Conference on Telecommunications in Modern Satellite, Cable and Broadcasting Services (TELSIKS)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127731861","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In telecom market of Republic of Serbia the dominant method arranged is cost-based pricing. However, years of experience of other countries has shown that the Retail-Minus method is precisely useful test for determining primarily the extent to which these prices should change and that this method combined with the cost based model can be very useful tool for price control by the regulator. The ultimate goal of this control is to encourage healthy competition between operators in this monopolized wholesale market, or a market where there is an operator with significant market power (SMP operator).","PeriodicalId":144044,"journal":{"name":"2013 11th International Conference on Telecommunications in Modern Satellite, Cable and Broadcasting Services (TELSIKS)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124927752","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The information extraction can be performed by different spectral (such as multifractal) and spectrogram (time-frequency) representations. We suggest adaptive (signal-dependent) wavelet-based processing able to simultaneously preserve relevant high-frequency details and reduce noise.","PeriodicalId":144044,"journal":{"name":"2013 11th International Conference on Telecommunications in Modern Satellite, Cable and Broadcasting Services (TELSIKS)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123027369","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
