In addition, an average bandwidth measurement approach is used to adjust the video delivery immediately. Furthermore, the proposed cross-layer architecture uses both the bandwidth measurement and queue adaptation for the current communication protocol of wireless multimedia networks. Finally, it is shown by NS2 simulations that the methods of both average bandwidth measurement and dynamic queue adaptation do not consume any network resource, and the proposed method can yield a better performance for transmission delay time, image quality and packets throughput over wireless networks. By using an Indoor Location System (ILS), a user can localize himself, plan an indoor route and destination, or receive useful information and services in malls, airports, shopping centers, etc. To this purpose, various signal strength or timing based localization methods exist, each one having their own advantages and disadvantages. Localization based on the Received Signal Strength (RSS) methods, typically require only off-theshelf equipment to operate. Moreover, they can utilize the existing infrastructure. This paper presents a new method on how to use the captured RSS values for localization purposes. The proposed method analyses a captured signal over a short distance and stores it into the fingerprint database for later comparison, rather than using an average value obtained from static measurements. Performance of proposed method is compared with a typical RSS-based localization method. Real-world measurements are used in order to validate our approach.","PeriodicalId":14286,"journal":{"name":"International journal of simulation: systems, science & technology","volume":"CE-31 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84575083","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The bioreceptor as the second main component along with transducer to meet the architecture of the biosensors. The bioreceptor’s configuration should follow up the development of biosensors to catch up the research needs in simple, fast, and low cost techniques. Micro/Nanotechnology provides high transducers performance, where the development of bioreceptor has other tasks to be considered. The major tasks that should be taking into account to achieve the bioreceptor development are but not limited to selectivity, sensitivity, design and packaging. Interdigitated Microelectrode Array (IDMA) that lies on the surface of microfluidic channel (MFC) plays an important role in biosensors development. An easy, cheap, rapid process to fabricate IDMA using softphotolithography technique will be unfolded. The beneficial of the new bioreceptor is applicable in many biomedical and biological applications such as biomarker detection, cancer clinical testing, detection of infectious microorganisms and viruses. Moreover, it is strongly contributing the development of biosensors and work as Aptasensor. The electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) is the approach that will imply to detect the variation on the surface of MFC as a sensing surface layer. However, cloud computing is subject to failures which emphasize the need to address user's availability. Availability refers to the system uptime and the system capability to operate continuously. Providing highly available services in cloud computing is essential for maintaining customer confidence and satisfaction and preventing revenue losses. Different techniques can be implemented to increase the system availability. This paper demonstrates one way of implementing highly available virtualized network element using Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft System Center tools.","PeriodicalId":14286,"journal":{"name":"International journal of simulation: systems, science & technology","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89949421","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
