The magnetic levitation system is an electromechanical coupling concept, in which a metal ball is suspended in air with the help of electromagnets. There are two types of magnetic levitation- Electromagnetic Levitation(EML) and Electrodynamics Levitation(EDL). EML uses electromagnetic force of attraction which attracts the metal ball placed below it and in case of EDL electromagnetic force of repulsion is used to control the position of the ball. This paper deals with the EML type of levitation. Magnetic levitation is highly non linear system. For such type of system it is desired to design a suitable controller for positioning ball at desired position. PID controller using design optimization tool tuning is presented in this paper. Two Degree of Freedom(2 DOF) PID is also designed in this paper which deals with both the reference input and feedback element.","PeriodicalId":14282,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Scientific Research in Education","volume":"27 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-08-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76869708","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Chemical reactions in the reactor are exothermic and require that energy can either be removed or added to the reactor to maintain a constant temperature. In this work, different controllers such as PID, Cascade, IMC controller, Differential Evolution, and Fuzzy Logic Controller have been evaluated. The objective is to control the temperature of CSTR in presence of the set point and analyzed which controller provides the most linear response. Model design and simulation are done in the MATLAB/SIMULINK software. The response of the CSTR, which is observed with applying step input and improved by designing conventional and intelligent controllers.","PeriodicalId":14282,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Scientific Research in Education","volume":"27 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-07-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74073417","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Not only that, in this paper we also try to accomplish all these for not just only two linear regressions but for all possible pairs of linear regressions out of any number of given linear regressions, thus generalising the Chow test in two directions. However, in this paper we consider the case of three regressions only [1] . The procedure is then illustrated through comparison of Engel curves on food for different Socioeconomic groups of Rural India, using NSS data. [1] The general case (the case of any number of linear regressions) is expected to follow soon as a separate article.","PeriodicalId":14282,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Scientific Research in Education","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89837727","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results showed that the effectiveness of instructional process is generally determined by the subject matter, methods, media / tools, learning evaluation and teacher’s skills in delivering the learning material to learners. The educators who have mastered the art of teaching and learning will inspire, encourage the students to think critically, and encourage students' motivation. The development of Cybercommunity has shifted the role of teaching and learning methods. The presence of cybercommunity put the teacher more as a facilitator and students’ assisstant within the online learning system (e-library, e-learning) that has been growing the independence of learners up. Learning materials that are uploaded must be kept up to date. Therefore, teachers need to work together synergistically with the administrator (cybercommunity provider) in materials preparation, tools and instructional procedures so that learners can still follow the education process actively and independently (student centered learning) online. Teachers need to improve professionalism to be able to apply IT and also master the art and teaching techniques to foster creativity, reasoning power and students’ learning motivation.","PeriodicalId":14282,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Scientific Research in Education","volume":"32 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-07-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87829238","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Concrete is one of the widely used construction material in the world. Concrete preparation requires ingredients like cement, aggregates, water and admixture(s). The problems of concreting in cold weather arises from the action of frost on fresh concrete. When water in wet concrete freezes, it increases the overall volume of concrete. As there is now no water available for hydration of cement, setting and hardening of concrete are delayed. This damages the concrete and makes it unfit for use. An accelerator admixture is used to accelerate the rate of hydration (setting) and strength development of concrete at an early age. This paper investigates the behaviour of concrete using accelerator admixture. The study is set up to compare 3 day , 7 days and 28 day compressive strength, flexural strength and tensile strength of commixtured concrete with plain concrete. This paper also focuses on the assessment of the role of accelerator admixture in helping the rate of gain of early strength and the harmful effects of the accelerator on concrete properties. The optimum percentage of accelerator that could be used without harming the properties of concrete is also arrived at.","PeriodicalId":14282,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Scientific Research in Education","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-07-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80331056","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
