Based on the collation of the burial materials, this paper makes a transverse comparison of the burial customs and related social phenomena between the Xiaoheyan Culture and the two surrounding cultures. Through comparison, we find that the commonness between the Xiaoheyan Culture and the Nanbaoligaotu Type tombs is reflected in the abstract spiritual connotation, while the commonness between the Xiaoheyan Culture and the Xueshan Phase I Culture is mainly reflected in the material existence of the appearance seen in archaeological excavation. The commonness in these two aspects is related to the worship concept tradition and spiritual and cultural strength of the special way of fishing and hunting, the interactive dissemination of culture and the movement and migration of people.

This characteristic was more clearly revealed when compared with the Neolithic culture of coexisting Northeast Asia including Korea. \u0000A stone tomb called Jeokseokchong was also discovered in the Xiaozhushan upper-class culture, which is adjacent to the Hongsan culture. In Primorsky and Korea, earthen graves are found in tomb groups. However, in Korea, in addition to earthen graves, there are various types of coffin graves and mass burial tombs compared to those of Primorsky Krai. \u0000In the tomb of the Hongsan culture, not only the representative stamping earthenware of this culture, but also colored earthenware and jade instruments of various shapes were excavated. On the other hand, from the Xiaozhushan Upper Culture, not only earthenware such as feet, high plates, and cup-shaped earthenware, but also earthenware from the Shandong Longshan culture were excavated. It is different from the Hongshan culture. \u0000Not only earthenware, but also various ornaments and hunting implements were excavated from the Boisman Cultural Tomb in Primorsky Krai. The custom of deliberately deforming skulls in male and female human bones is also found. \u0000In Korea, during the period of coexistence with Hongsan culture, earthen graves were identified as groups in Janghang and Yeondaedo in Gadeokdo. Round-bottomed earthenware is mainly excavated, and it is a raised gate. In addition to earthenware, there are ornaments and hunting tools such as anklets, shell bracelets, crown jewels, and jade earrings. \u0000In Primorye and Korea, in addition to earthenware and ornaments, hunting tools are also stored, but it was not found in the Hongsan culture using stone graves and in the upper culture of Xiaozhushan. It was also found that among the burials of Northeast Asian tombs, Hongsan culture, Boisman culture, and Gadeok also differ according to gender in Janghang ruins. \u0000Among burial items, jade earrings are commonly identified, and they are classified and compared with the period of coexistence with the Hongsan culture. As a result, the relics of Hongsan culture are different in size and shape from those of Korea and Primorsky Krai. Rather, in Korea, there has been a tradition of making jade earrings since earlier than the Yoseo region.

To make up for this, mutual approach in truly important thorough the stone tools for subsistence. \u0000Especially, the middle western area which adopted farming for the first time does not have enough analyzing information for grain respectively. Therefore, the approach through the stone tools for subsistence is absolutely needed. Because of this, well- known Amsadong village remains were chosen. \u0000The main trait of the Neolithic Lithic knife Tool based on analyzing data is that firstly it is a small part of all the unearthed items. Second, it departs from the standard pattern. Third, Lithic knife Tool is likely to be produced during by using width flake in the process of making a large-scale item rather than is made through a systematic process. Lithic knife Tool is likely to be made with natural sharp blade from width flake. This kind of trait has been shown in Lithic knife Tool items in Korean peninsular. \u0000Fourth, Lithic knife Tool in Neolithic era is excavated mainly from alluvion areas and unearthed items increased as the late Neolithic ear came. Fifth, alluvion remains excavated with grain has Lithic knife Tool. It tells us that we could see plant resources and Lithic knife Tool used as a harvesting tool also increased in the remains as it goes to the late Neolithic era. \u0000Despite the fact that grain analyzing evidence is not fully gathered yet, until now, Amsadong site is one of the major sites which shows harvest, management and utilization of plant resources by using Lithic knife Tool remains. \u0000This means that in the bronze age considered as an agrarian society, a standardized Stone Harvesting Knives was used as a exclusive tool for harvesting plant as food resource but at Amsadong site in Neolithic period considered as a low-level food production stage, exclusive tool as a tool for gathering food might not be used. Instead, it might be possible that width flake with naturally made sharp blade in the process of making large tools occurred sometimes and it was used as a tool for plant food gathering.
