Chlorophyllin is chlorophyll derivative providing -COOH groups essential for binding to TiO 2 . The chlorophyll was extracted from dried spinach ( amaranthus viridis ) leaves in a mixture of methanol-acetone (70%:30%). Chlorophyll extract dye was obtained after partition of the crude extracts in diethyl ether solution. Then, it was hydrolyzed under alkaline condition to get chlorophyllin. Xanthophyll was extracted from fresh petal of chrysanthemum ( chrysanthemum indicum ) flowers. Blending of chlorophyllin and xanthophyll was carried out at various volume ratios of C to X (1:0, 5:1, 1:1, 1:5, 0:1). Titania solar cells were constructed in sandwich system of conducting glass-titania/dyes as the photoanode and conducting glass-platinum as the photocathode. Electrolyte solution containing I - /I 3 - was inserted between the electrodes by capillary action. All dye extracts and blending solutions were analyzed by UV-Vis spectrophotometer. It is shown that the absorption spectra of blending dyes are complimentary in the visible region resulted in a panchromatic response of the dyes. From the cyclic voltammogram of the dyes and blended-dyes, it is found that the energy level of xanthophyll is the lowest. The I-V test at 100 mw/cm 2 irradiation confirmed that the energy conversion efficiency ( h ) of the blended dyes of xanthophyll and chlorophyllin-sensitized solar cell resulted in significant improvement than those of the single dye. Beneficially, the mixed dyes can be adsorbed from solution blend using single dipping step.","PeriodicalId":14209,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Science and Engineering","volume":"8 1","pages":"109-114"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"66730811","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

CNTs was selected and its loading were a 1 wt% in total solid. The hybrid composite membranes were fabricated in order to increase their separation performance for the gaseous mixture of CO 2 and CH 4 . Hybrid Composite membrane incorporated carbon nanotubes were mannufactured by the dry-wet phase inversion technique using flat sheet membrane casting machine system, in which the CNTs were embedded into the polyimide membrane and the resulting membranes were characterized. The results from the FESEM, DSC and FTIR analysis confirmed that chemical modification on carbon nanotubes surface had taken place. Sieve-in-a-cage’ morphology observed shows the poor adhesion between polymer and unmodified CNT. The results revealed that the good multi-wall carbon nanotubes dispersion leads to enhanced gas permeation properties. It is also concluded that addition of carbon nanotubes particles into the matrix of Polyimide polymer has significant effect on the membrane structure and properties.","PeriodicalId":14209,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Science and Engineering","volume":"8 1","pages":"115-119"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.12777/IJSE.8.2.115-119","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"66730471","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to the survey from OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project's), SQL injection attack (SQLIA) placed the first in the OWASP 2013's top 10 list of cyber threats that web service facing. SQLIA is a technique of inserting SQL meta-characters and commands into web-based input field to change the original meaning of the SQL queries in order to manipulate the execution of the malicious SQL queries to access the databases unauthorized. It unable be detected by firewall or antivirus due to the SQLIA is just injecting meta- character and do not have any malicious. Hence, forensic analysis to find out the evidence attack play an important role to making conclusion about and incident to prove or disprove intruder's guilt. Methodologies forensic analyses of web application that present previously are only simple statistical analysis, parsing capabilities or simple signature matching. Thus, we proposed a method by analyzing the URL request and decode it before analyzing with the rule set that provided by PHPIDS. After that we, cluster these attacks by calculate the distance with every cluster and cluster it with the nearest centroid point. To find the pattern of the SQL injection to cluster these attacks, we apply a method with extracting the SQL keyword as token set form URL request and analyze these request based on K-mean method to find the standard centroid to cluster these attacks.","PeriodicalId":14209,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Science and Engineering","volume":"5 1","pages":"157-162"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71316382","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Given a dataset, a skyline query returns data points that are not dominated by other points. This study extends the concept of skyline query to a so-called σ-neighborhood skyline query (σ-N skyline query). In contrast to the past skyline query, the σ-N skyline query not only finds the skyline points, but also retrieves points that are competitive with the skyline points. The σ-N skyline query can be useful for applications such as decision making, market analysis, and business planning, as it is able to provide more flexible answers for a user. This paper defines the novel problem, proposes a new index tree and intelligent algorithms to resolve this problem, and conducts a set of simulations to demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the algorithms.","PeriodicalId":14209,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Science and Engineering","volume":"5 1","pages":"205-208"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71316442","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

(2) EMV-compatible contactless smartcards do not encrypt sensitive data in the mobile transactions, which allows attackers to steal the users' personal information. (3) During offline transactions, the merchants cannot verify whether a credit card has been revoked. In 2013, Yang proposed a protocol to enhance the security of EMV standards. Yang's method can perform mutual authentication between a point-of-sale (POS) and a credit card, but the users can exceed the credits after multiple offline transactions. To improve Yang's method, we propose a new offline transaction mechanism that is compatible with the EMV standards. In our scheme, a user is required to apply for a limited and divisible credits from a bank, and stores the credits into his NFC phone's security elements (SE). During an offline transaction, the user has to send his certificate and the specific amount of credits to the merchant. The merchant verifies user's certificate, collects the credits, and redeems the payments from the bank. Our protocol is suitable for the offline environment that accommodates multiple merchants; it prevents exceeding the limitation in multiple offline transactions; and it enhances the security of EMV standards.","PeriodicalId":14209,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Science and Engineering","volume":"5 1","pages":"61-66"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71316249","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
