It is the very navigation for the blind using GPS or mobile phone. Also, even if studies are not direct for the blind, studies on navigations for pedestrians or Mobile Robots can be included in this category. However, devices for the blind based on those studies still have many experimental aspects and have many problems to be settled for concrete realization. Social foundation as well as portable devices for the blind is necessary first, but those confront difficulties such as the lack of recognition and high costs. Therefore, this study aims for intensive study and presentation on what kinds of systems should be prepared for the practical application of recently improved mobile communication technology and preparation of social foundation.","PeriodicalId":140876,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on New Trends in Information and Service Science","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-09-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131601728","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Suppose a package has been sent from s to t according to the route P_G(s,t) in a network modelled by the graph G. It is usual that several nodes may be not available sometimes, and one failed node is only found when its previous node of the route P_G(s,t) sends to it. In this scenario, an alternate route should be found which may lead to the increase the total length of the route. The paper discusses the problem of finding a node of the original route P_G(s,t) whose removal results in the maximum increase of the total length. We present an algorithm that runs in O(|V|+|E|log|V|) time in the worst case. However, due to the limitation of view of cylindrical surface, distortion of spherical surface and accurate video camera orientation of cube surface, we can’t achieve the vivid scene. In this paper, we proposed a method of Comprehensive Dummy Volume Panorama (CDVP) using an irregular geometry surface composed of two hemispherical surface and one cylindrical surface. First,we construct hash function for Latitude-Longitude plotting and dissect panorama between panorama and dummy volume, and to construct θ-¿ link table of scene. Then, Inverse-Projection is used according to corresponding θ-¿ pieces to produce θ-¿ partial view. At last, local view coordinate was transformed to world view coordinate. This method implements 360° ramble and overcomes drawback of the current methods.","PeriodicalId":140876,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on New Trends in Information and Service Science","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121822421","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To provide references for the computer architecture designer, we analyzed various factors ofeffects on cache performance, and then carried out the simulation experiment of cache performance based on SimpleScalar tools set and SPEC2000 benchmark suite. We compared the effects on cache performance when L1-cache, L2-cache capacity and replacement methods are changed separately, and then we analyzed the experimental results in detail. For applications or consumer electronics with real-time constraints, quality-of-service (QoS) supports are also of critical importance and can be realized based on reservation or prioritization techniques. In a license-free distributed environment where no single authority for channel arbitration exists, reservation is not a suitable paradigm while prioritization may not provide the degree of QoS required. As a result, effective prioritization in such environments is still a subject under intensive research, in order to make sure that higher-priority packets can be transmitted without being affected by lower-priority packets. Fairness can then be provisioned on top of the strong differentiation capability. In this paper, we propose a medium access control (MAC) scheme that is ideal for communications between a master node (e.g., PC) and slave nodes (e.g., consumer electronics) or in a home network with a centralized router. The proposed scheme leads to freedom from collision and strong differentiation capability, and the hidden and exposed terminal problems naturally do not exist.","PeriodicalId":140876,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on New Trends in Information and Service Science","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127100921","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Lower inter-operator tariffs does not improve allied operator’s profits directly and lower retail prices cuts down allied operator’s revenue at the beginning of its application. With the market share increased after a period of time, allied operators get the max profit based on the optimum inter-operator tariff. The inter-operator tariff between allied operators makes an impact on the behavior of mobile network operator and roaming subscriber.","PeriodicalId":140876,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on New Trends in Information and Service Science","volume":"225 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127164494","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
