Many patients who survived and were discharged from the intensive care unit have cognitive, physical, and psychological disorders that are reflected in the term post-intensive care syndrome. Patients and their families show symptoms of anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, and sleep problems. The result is that they negatively affect their quality of life. Numerous risk factors contribute to the development of this syndrome, mainly the sedation, the duration of mechanical ventilation, and the length of stay in the intensive care unit. For this reason, it is necessary to take measures to prevent this syndrome including ABCDEFGH care plan, physical rehabilitation, nutritional support, and intensive care unit diaries. Care must also be given to the creation of Post Intensive care unit clinics where they have a diagnostic, therapeutic, counseling, and rehabilitation role that will act as assistants in the care of patients after discharge from the intensive care unit. Also, special care should be taken with patients who have recovered from COVID 19 whose needs are increasing and need immediate treatment. This review aims to analyze post-intensive care syndrome, prevention measures, and the impact of COVID 19. In conclusion, it is necessary to take measures to treat post-intensive care unit syndrome with early diagnosis and treatment, to reduce the adverse effects on both patients and their families.\u0000\u0000

Population research display heritable character. The function of dopaminergic, adrenergic, and serotoninergic systems is disordered in different ways in patients, who suffer from this disease. Purpose: The aim of this article is to show the actual view on the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in teenage patients.. Results: In the treatment of ADHD the most important thing is pedagogical therapy as well as cooperation of parents and medical crew. In some particular cases pharmacologic treatment should also be included in therapeutic process, which is described in this review. Methylphenidate is the most frequent drug used in the treatment and that is why we focused on the complex description of the substance. Conclusions: Teachers and the school responsible for teaching these children must adapt didactic methods to the severity of the disorder. It is valuable to conduct the drug in the therapy of teenagers whose parents ready to cooperate, always with psychiatric supervision. In the process of pharmacotherapy, it is crucial to include breaks, for example during vacations. Psychostimulants are highly addictive substances, which is why many researchers are uncertain about the routine prescription of methylphenidate.

Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted between August-November 2017 at Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs University among 111 health staff. Data was collected with a questionnaire form including questions about demographic characteristics, nutritional status and anthropometric measurements. SPSS 21.0 statistical package program was used for statistical analysis and p<0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: Based on waist circumference, 14.3% of men and 31.1% of women were at high risk, and based on waist/hip ratio, 4.8% of men and 33.3% of women were at risk of cardiovascular diseases. It has been shown that eating patterns are disrupted during shifts (89.2%), and 73.9% of participants cannot eat because their meals cool down during shifts. The difference in the numbers of main and snack meals consumed by health staff during the night shift was statistically significant (p<0.05). Body mass index, waist circumference, and hip circumference measurements decreased with increasing shift time. However, body mass index, waist circumference, and hip circumference increased as time spent in the profession increased. Conclusion: It was seen that night shift health staff are at risk of cardiovascular disease due to insufficient and unhealthy nutrition. It is clear that nutrition education programs are required for health staff working night shifts to reduce excess weight and obesity in this population.

Purpose: To present the data and information as well as the treatment related to Anorexia nervosa. Materials and methods: The study material consisted of reviewed articles on the topic found in Greek and globally accepted electronic databases, Pubmed, Scopus, Medline, Google Scholar, regarding the effects of Anorexia nervosa on health and its treatment. Results: Initial symptoms of Anorexia nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa may be characterised by bodyrelated negative interpretation bias, distorted body image and pronounced body dissatisfaction. Anorexic patients refuse to eat with their family or in public places. They lose weight by drastically reducing their total food intake, with a disproportionate reduction in the amount of meals containing carbohydrates and fats. The term Anorexia is unfortunate, because a decrease in appetite does not occur. Patients are constantly hungry and they are constantly thinking about food, but they refuse it. An indication of their way of thinking is that they often collect recipes or prepare complex meals for others. Conclusions: Anorexia nervosa is a disease that connects the physical with the mental dimension of health. A person's disharmonious relationship with oneself, which may have its roots in a dysfunctional family context or in a demanding and competitive social environment, finds the way to be manifested through the individual's reflection on food.

Every each have to represents at least 30% of the tumor. Diagnosis is based on cytology, architecture and immunostaining. Specific neuroendocrine markers for MANEC are chromogranin A and synaptophysin.\u0000Purpose: In this paper, we aimed to present a case of MANEC arising from rectum.\u0000Case presentation: 67-years-old man was admitted to the hospital due to abdominal pain, obstruction and blood in the stool. From the colonoscopy simple, the histopathological examination exposed microfoci of adenocarcinoma. Small pelvis MRI disclosed clinically known circular, solid infiltrate in the middle and upper part of the rectum. Local advancement in MRI was T4b N2 EMVI + CRM +. Patient underwent the neoadjuvant radiochemo-therapy. The control MRI revealed tumor reduction. Local advancement in MRI was yT3d yN0 EMVI + CRM + RG3. The histopathological examination of the surgical material revealed MANEC tissue consisting of Adenocarcinoma G2 (60%) and Large cell neuroendocrinal carcinoma (40%) pT3 pN0 pMx. Immunohistochemical staining revealed a positive expression of chromogranin A, synaptophysin and Ki67 - 80% in the neuro-endocrine component. Lymphonodulitis reactiva 19/19. Seminal vesicles without neoplastic infiltration. The patient was discharged in good general condition, with a recommendation of a follow-up visit at a surgical clinic.\u0000Conclusions: MANEC is rare as a rectal neoplasm. The study included 15 healthy volunteers of the Bialystok University of Technology (BUT) without any previous experience in SAT training. Two sets of thermograms were recorded before and immediately after exercise at the first and last sessions of a 30-weeks SAT program with a progressive intensity. The results indicate a generalized drop in body temperature immediately after exercise with ΔTsk values of -2.45oC registered immediately after the first training and lower drops (ΔTsk = -1.69oC) after the 30 weeks of SAT. The regions with lower values of postvs pre-exercise Tsk were the thighs both in the first session and in the last session of the 30-weeks SAT program. The results show nonsignificant variations for asymmetries between the values of the contralateral ROIs in every moment of the data collection. We concluded that a 30-week SAT program resulted in significant drop of mean Tsk of evaluated body parts (ROI), being the thermal effects related with the areas more activated in the sport practice. From the thermal asymmetries perspective, the training program carried out did not generate any injury risk for the participants.
