Consequently, two-dimensional pattern matching is a primary topic of current research making good use of current technologies. In this paper, we will examine two-dimensional pattern solution. We are proposing an algorithm to convert the two-dimensional problem into a one-dimensional problem prior to the searching phase. Our proposed algorithm handles black and white images in general and text images in particular. Work in this phase will eliminate the need for soaring computational expense observed in preprocessing phase. Our experimental findings display results superior to both Brute-force algorithm, and RK-KMP algorithm. Suggested algorithm results show a clear reduction in comparisons' numbers in multiple cases. Moreover, applied on one-dimensional text, our proposed algorithm is proportional to Θ (n) in time suggesting linear time.","PeriodicalId":137864,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Information Technology and e-Services","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126515141","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the recent years, hand based biometrics is extensively used for personal recognition. In this paper a new biometric system based on texture of the hand knuckles, namely Finger-Knuckle-Print (FKP), is proposed. To extract the image local texture information and represent the FKPs features, the 2D Block based Discrete Cosine Transform (2D-BDCT), is employed. Finally, performance of all finger types is determined individually and a min rule fusion is applied to develop a multimodal system. Experimental results show that 2D-DCT-mod2 yields the best performance for identifying FKPs and it is able to provide an excellent recognition rate and provide more security.","PeriodicalId":137864,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Information Technology and e-Services","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126882445","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to better exploit the ontology and reason using its classes, sub-classes and instances a Case Based Reasoning (CBR) paradigm is chosen, as it offers an ideal solution for diagnostic of real application systems. In the CBR the design of build integrated systems that combine case specific knowledge with models of general domain knowledge is offered by COLIBRI, it is an environment to assist during the design of knowledge intensive CBR (KI-CBR) systems. The paper, therefore, presents a current work which has for objective to develop a CBR application for fault diagnosis based on ontology, by using the API JColibri.","PeriodicalId":137864,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Information Technology and e-Services","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130879637","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We have illustrated the importance of accurate segmentation as a preprocessing step in a CAD scheme. The advances in image processing, cryptology, secure data handling are to be introduced for E Mental Health domain ensuring client privacy in information collection and transfer. The dialogue with future networks roadmapping on e-Health requirements will yield mutually substantial results. However, we argue that in order to offer robust software the business process designer has to account for numerous error paths with little or no guidance. Many studies have shown that this activity represents the bulk of the design process. In this paper, we propose an approach at assisting the process designer in assessing the compensatory activities based on business objectives that we model through a value chain.","PeriodicalId":137864,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Information Technology and e-Services","volume":"104 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122406283","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Despite their importance, users don't profit of this treasury. Many deep web services are offering competitive services in term of prices, quality of service, and facilities. As the number of services is growing rapidly, users have difficulty to ask many web services in the same time. In this paper, we imagine a system where users have the possibility to formulate one query using one query interface and then the system translates query to the rest of query interfaces. However, interfaces are created by designers in order to be interpreted visually by users, machines can not interpret query from a given interface. We propose a new approach which emulates capacity of interpretation of users and extracts query from deep web query interfaces. Our approach has proved good performances on two standard datasets.","PeriodicalId":137864,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Information Technology and e-Services","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128264725","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Related tasks which are mainly focused around patient management are basically achieved through a cooperative way that involves several health care professionals. Such team members with separate skills and roles should work together during patients' management. In this paper, we firstly discuss our study of work in-situ within an Algerian maternity ward to better understand the usual way under which tasks are effectively achieved and identify the artefacts used. Such observation allowed us to highlight vital collaborative medical tasks that need to be designed.
