One way that can be used is by means of wood preservation technology. This study uses noni (Morinda citrifolia) fruit as a natural presevative. The purpose of this study was to analyze the concentration of preservatives that were well absorbed by Jabon (Arthocephalus cadamba) wood and Kemiri (Aleurites moluccana) wood to resist subterranean termites. This study used Jabon wood and Kemiri wood without preservation and wich had been treated with preservation of 100 grams/liter, 200 grams/liter and 300 grams/liter. Analysis of the value of absorption and retention values were influenced by the addition of noni fruit preservatives on Jabon and Kemiri wood. The percentage of weight loss was influenced by the type of wood where Jabon had better resistance than Kemiri woodUpaya mencegah kerusakan pada kayu sangat penting dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas dan umur pakai. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan ialah dengan cara teknologi pengawetan kayu. Penelitian menggunakan buah mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia) sebagai bahan pengawet alami. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa konsentrasi bahan pengawet yang baik diserap oleh kayu Jabon (Arthocephalus cadamba) dan kayu Kemiri (Aleurites moluccana) untuk menahan serangan rayap tanah. Penelitian ini menggunakan kayu Jabon dan kayu Kemiri tanpa pengawetan dan yang telah diberi perlakuan pengawetan 100 gram/liter, 200 gram/liter dan 300 gram/liter. Analisis nilai absobsi, retensi dan kehilangan berat dilakukan menggunakan perhitungan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). In this case, occupational safety and health can be very useful for the company because it is part of the prevention factor for the accident risk in workplace. That is why the company must implement the stages and regulations regarding occupational health and safety, so as to reduce work accidents. The purpose of this study was to analyze the extent to which the Occupational Health and Safety Program was implemented in each department at PT Basirih Industrial. The data collection procedure used is a questionnaire, interview and the data documentation is obtained from each department. Based on data processing and analysis on the application of OSH at PT Basirih Industrial, it has a total achievement value of 97.73%Perusahaan harusnya memelihara juga mengelola dengan maksimal sumber daya manusianya. Dalam hal ini keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja sangat berguna bagi perusahaan karena bagian dari faktor pencegahan resiko terjadinya kecelakaan kerja. Oleh sebab itu perusahaan harus menerapkan tahapan-tahapan dan peraturan tentang kesehatan kerja dan keselamatan, sehingga mampu berkurang kecelakaan kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sejauh mana penerapan Program Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja, pada setiap masing-masing departemen di PT Basirih Industrial. Prosedur pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara angket/kuesioner dan dokumentasi data tersebut diperoleh dari setiap masing-masing departemen. The average contribution of income from the people of Hakim Makmur Village from agroforestry is 52.6%.Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh program agroforestri terhadap pendapatan masyarakat Desa Hakim Makmur dan menganalisis kontribusi pendapatan masyarakat Desa Hakim Makmur dari program agroforestri. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Hakim Makmur dengan pengambilan sampel 50 anggota KTH Desa Hakim Makmur menggunakan metode kuantitatif berdasarkan daftar pertanyaan terstruktur (kuesioner). Program agroforestri berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan petani di Desa Hakim Makmur. Dengan signifikasi P Value (0,01). This study aims to determine the life quality and growth of revegetation plants, and analyze soil fertility in post-mining areas. The research method was carried out by purposive sampling with 4 plots (20x20 m2) in each block, with a total plot area of 0.16 Ha. Each data plot was taken in the form of plant quality of life with 4 categories, namely the percentage of healthy, unhealthy, languishing and dead plants with respective values of 2-8%, 5-18%, 2-5% and 71-87%. The percentage of plant life has a value between 13-29%. Plant growth in the form of data on diameter and height increments. The fastest growth in diameter and plant height was in the M4EC block with value of 2.12 cm/year and 1.69 m/year respectively. The lowest increment values for diameter and plant height were in block M5E with value of 1.39 cm/year and 1.24 m/year respectively. The quality of the existing soil has a higher value of micro nutrients than macro nutrients. In the research area, the pH value is acidic in the range of 4-5. Soil porosity classification on this land is also in bad criteria because it ranges from 30-40%. This causes many plants to be unhealthy and languish because the plants do not get enough nutritionRevegetasi yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan pertambangan acap kali tidak berhasil. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas hidup tanaman revegetasi, pertumbuhan tanaman revegetasi dan menganalisis kesuburan tanah di areal pascatambang. Metode penelitian dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan 4 petak (20x20 m2) pada seiap blok, dengan total luas petak ukur sebesar 0,16 Ha. Masing-masing petak ukur diambil data berupa kualitas hidup tanaman dengan 4 kategori yaitu pesentase tanaman sehat, kurang sehat, merana dan mati dengan nilai masing-masing 2-8%, 5-18%, 2-5% dan 71-87%. Persentase hidup tanaman memiliki nilai antara 13-29%. Pertumbuhan tanaman berupa data riap diameter dan tinggi. Riap diameter dan tinggi tanaman tercepat pada blok M4EC dengan nilai masing-masing sebesar 2,12 cm/tahun dan 1,69 m/tahun. Nilai riap diameter dan tinggi tanaman paling rendah ada pada blok M5E dengan nilai masing-masing sebesar 1,39 cm/tahun dan 1,24 m/tahun. Kualitas tanah yang ada memiliki niai unsur hara mikro yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan unsur hara makro. Di dalam tempat penelitian menunjukan angka pH masam dengan kisaran antara 4-5. Klasifikasi porositas tanah pada lahan ini juga masuk kriteria jelek karena berkisar antara 30-40%. Halaban wood is one of the types of wood that is familiar to the people of Kalimantan because it is used as wood charcoal and liquid smoke from the combustion of the wood, but many industries actually use wood as the main raw material and result in reduced availability of wood as pulp material being depleted. The purpose of this study was to analyze the anatomical and physical characteristics of Halaban wood that grows naturally in Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan. From 1 tree, 3 stems were sampled, each position was taken a wooden disk with a thickness of 5 cm from a height of 130 cm from the ground. Measurement of moisture content (KA), specific gravity (BJ), wood anatomy, and fiber derivative values. The test results show that halaban wood has an average of KA (16.79%±0.87), BJ (0.56±0.26). The anatomy of halaban wood obtained fiber length (1502.4 mm), lumen length (112.96 μm), fiber Ø (28.35 μm), lumen Ø (21.61 μm), and cell wall thickness (3.37 μm). Halaban fiber derivative values are Runkel Ratio (0.31), Slendernes (52.71), Muhlsteph Ratio (72.7%), Coefficient of Rigidity (0.11), and Flexibility Ratio (0.75). According to the fiber quality results obtained, Halaban wood is classified as class 2 with a total value of 375, meaning that it can be used as raw material for pulp and paper.Kayu Halaban (Vitex pinnata L) merupakan jenis kayu yang endemik atau berasal dari Kalimantan. Kayu halaban ini salah satu jenis kayu yang familiar bagi masyarakat Kalimantan karena digunakan sebagai arang kayu dan asap cair dari hasil pembakaran kayu tersebut, akan tetapi banyak industri ternyata memanfaatkan kayu untuk bahan baku utama dan mengakibatkan tersedianya kayu untuk bahan pulp menjadi berkurang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis karakteristik anatomi dan sifat fisik kayu halaban yang tumbuh secara alami di Banjarbaru, Kalimantan Selatan. Dari 1 pohon di ambil sampel 3 batang, setiap posisi diambil disk kayu dengan ketebalan 5 cm dari ketinggian 130 cm dari permukaan tanah. Pengukuran kadar air (KA), berat jenis (BJ), anatomi kayu, dan nilai turunan serat. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa kayu halaban memiliki rata-rata KA (16,79% BJ (0,56 . Anatomi kayu halaban diperoleh panjang serat (1502,4 mm), panjang lumen (112,96 μm), Ø serat (28,35 μm), Ø lumen (21,61 μm), dan ketebalan dinding sel (3,37 μm). Nilai turunan dari serat halaban yaitu Bilangan Rankel (Runkel Ratio) (0,31), Daya Tenun (Slendernes) (52,71), Perbandingan Muhlsthep (Muhlsteph Ratio) (72,7%), Koefisien kekakuan (Coefficient of Rigidity) (0,11), dan Perbandingan fleksibilitas (Flexibility Ratio) (0,75). The results of this study indicate that the composition of plants in the yard of Pulau Burung Village consists of 43 species, 30 families and 415 individual plants, for the seedling level as many as 10 species with 167 individuals, sapling level 17 species with 119 individuals, pole level 13 species with 98 individuals and the tree level of 18 species with 147 individuals. The role of its utilization in strengthening the community's economy is quite good because there are people who can manage their yards for their own economic needs and can contribute wellTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) menganalisis komposisi dan dominasi jenis-jenis tanaman pekarangan masyarakat Desa Pulau Burung yang merupakan sebuah desa yang berada di dalam kawasan hutan yang berfungsi sebagai Taman Wisata Alam; (2) identifikasi tanaman perkarangan untuk penguatan ekonomi keluarga Desa Pulau Burung. Metode yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini dengan cara metode simple random sampling, dimana melakukan undian acak berdasarkan nomor urut rumah yaitu jumlah KK di Desa Pulau Burung ada 103 KK jadi akan diambil 25% KK yang ada di Desa Pulau Burung. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komposisi tanaman yang ada di pekarangan Desa Pulau Burung terdiri dari 43 jenis, 30 famili dan 415 individu tanaman, untuk tingkat semai sebanyak 10 jenis dengan 167 individu, tingkat pancang 17 jenis dengan 119 individu, tingkat tiang 13 jenis dengan 98 individu dan tingkat pohon 18 jenis dengan 147 individu. The type of teak is based on the regeneration of seeds originating from Forestry Service Tanah Laut District. Maintenance of Teak plants is not given enough attention, this will inhibit the growth of Teak plants. The method used for data collection was using forest treatises with a plot measuring circle with a radius of 7.04. delineation results on satellite imagery (2021) on the screen show that there are 3 (three) different growth classes. Based on visual observation of hue levels/gradations and then field inspection, results indicated the growth classes f teak stands, namely poor, medium and good classes. Teak plants are identical to the Bonita class and the forest class where the Bonita value is searched based on the Bonita graph with input: height and age. While the forest class searched based on the combination table with inputs: KBD, DKn, and age. The poor growth class belongs to the Bonita class I which has a height of 8 meters, KBD 0.118, DKn 0.4 and belongs to the MR forest class (poor increment). Medium growth belongs to the Bonita III class which has a height of 18.1 meters, KBD 1.007, DKn 1.15 and belongs to the KU forest class (age class). As well as good growth, it belongs to the Bonita IV class which has a height of 22.5 meters, KBD 2,340, DKn 2.3 and belongs to the forest age class (KU), the greater the number of Bonita, the more fertile the soil.Tanaman jati dikelola pada lahan milik pribadi dari tahun tanam yaitu tahun 2004 sampai sekarang. Jenis tanaman jati berdasarkan regenerasi dari bibit yang berasal dari pembagian Dinas Kehutanan Kabupaten Tanah Laut. Pemeliharaan pada tanaman jati ini kurang diperhatikan, hal ini akan menghambat pertumbuhan tanaman jati tersebut. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pengambilan data menggunakan risalah hutan dengan plot ukur lingkaran jari-jari 7,94. Hasil delineasi pada citra satelit (2021) secara on screen menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 (tiga) klas pertumbuhan yang berbeda. Berdasarkan pengamatan secara visual terhadap tingkatan/gradasi rona dan kemudian dilakukan pemeriksaan di lapangan, maka hasilnya mengindikasikan klas pertumbuhan tegakan jati, yaitu klas jelek, sedang dan baik. Tanaman jati identik dengan klas bonita dan klas hutan dimana nilai bonita dicari berdasarkan grafik bonita dengan input: peninggi dan umur. Sedangkan klas hutan dicari berdasarkan tabel kombinasi dengan input: KBD, DKn dan umur. Pada pertumbuhan klas jelek termasuk kedalam klas bonita I yang memiliki peninggi 8 meter, KBD 0.118, DKn 0.4 dan termasuk klas hutan MR (miskin riap). Pada pertumbuhan sedang termasuk kedalam klas bonita III yang memiliki peninggi 18,1 meter, KBD 1,007, DKn 1,15 dan termasuk klas hutan KU (klas umur). The growth of Aren is a problem that is considered necessary to be done. This study aims to identify the damage in Aren saplings and calculate the percentage of Aren saplings' health. The research location was carried out in Sungai Raya sub-district, Batang Kulur Kanan village. Collecting data by purposive sampling, making seedling-level plots with a distance of 10 meters between plots, documenting the health condition of plants in each research plot, identifying pests found in Aren and taking field condition data including: pH, air temperature and humidity. The data is then processed based on the Environmental monitoring and assessment program (EMAP) classification book. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained from 118 saplings 33.89% (disease), 37.28% (broken leaf part of the sapling), 35.59% (damaged leaf), 16.10% (severity level 20-29%). Percentage of health 56 seeds (47%) sick and 62 seeds (52.54%) healthy.Perkebunan aren di Kecamatan Sungai Raya termasuk perkebunan terbesar di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan yaitu 40,57 ha. Pertumbuhan tingkat anakan aren merupakan permasalahan yang dianggap perlu untuk dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi kerusakan yang terdapat pada anakan aren dan menghitung persentase kesehatan anakan aren. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Batang Kulur Kanan Kecamatan Sungai Raya. Pengambilan data secara purposive sampling, jarak petak tingkat semai 10 meter, mendokumentasikan kondisi kesehatan tanaman tiap petak penelitian, mengidentifikasi hama yang terdapat pada anakan aren dan pengambilan data kondisi lapangan meliputi pH, suhu udara dan kelembaban udara. Data kemudian diolah berdasarkan buku klasifikasi Enviromental monitoring and assessment program (EMAP). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh dari 118 anakan 33,89% (penyakit), 37,28% (bagian bibit yang rusak daun), 35,59% (daun rusak), 16,10% (tingkat keparahan 20 – 29%).
