The fullerene we picked for our research work is the C24 which was then doped with popular dopants- Boron, Nitrogen and Phosphorus and the self-consistent calculations were performed in the configuration where molecule was bridged between the gold electrodes using MCBJ (Mechanically Controlled Break Junctions) technique at sub-zero temperature of 0.100K. The characteristics of these variants of doped C24were compared with that for pure C24 and the results clearly demonstrated the electrical superiority of the pure C24 over its doped counterparts for cryogenic applications of electronics. This paper would represent another mark in the field of molecular electronics that prefer carbon or organic materials as competing future in nanotechnology for military and defence applications.","PeriodicalId":13708,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Advanced Nanomaterials & Emerging Engineering Technologies","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83889398","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The influence of annealing temperature on the structural, optical and surface morphological properties of the films was studied. The crystallographic structure and crystallite size were determined from the X-Ray Diffraction study. It reveals that the films have a predominant hexagonal crystal phase with a preferential (0 0 2) plane. Transmittance of the deposited films was significantly higher in the visible region. The calculated optical band gap of the films decreases with increase in annealing temperature. The photoluminescence spectra show that the intensity of PL emission peaks found to decrease in intensity, with increase in annealing temperature. SEM studies reveal that the grains are spherically shaped and distributed uniformly over the entire surface of the substrate. These examined properties of the films show its feasibility for application in optoelectronic devices, especially for solar cells.","PeriodicalId":13708,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Advanced Nanomaterials & Emerging Engineering Technologies","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86786046","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The electron lifetime for VACNT/ZnO/CdSe is longer than that for ZnO/CdSe combination, indicating that the charge recombination at the interface is reduced by the presence of the VACNT. A power conversion efficiency of 1.46% is achieved for the VACNT/ZnO/CdSe due to the increased surface area and longer electron lifetime. The choice of Quantum Dots in respective of properties needed for high efficiency is necessary, we had analyzed Quantum dots having better absorption coefficient for photon power per energy, resultant absorbed power was calculated from variation of Energy flux per photon energy with respect to variation of photon energy (eV). CdSe hit maximum values compared to Competitors, Moreover CdSe join hand with various Transparent Conducting layer for profession of Exciton Concentration for different Pump power pulse. Out of Respective analysis of respective combination, CdSe/VACNT credit more than that of others because of its enormous identical Structural Properties of VACNT and Quantum size effect of CdSe.","PeriodicalId":13708,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Advanced Nanomaterials & Emerging Engineering Technologies","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87277321","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The CNTs are a new dimension in thrust generation. They have an exceptional quality of photoreaction, thermal conductivity and directional guidance. Using its ability to produce and guide thermo power waves, it is added as a fuel additive to produce CNT propulsive fluid which has the power to enhance thrust even at low volumes. The fluid is injected into the rocket engine main exhaust in the required direction at the aft end of the nozzle using multiple plume spray pattern system for efficiency. This enhancement is used for thrust vectoring of a rocket, which is the only way for attitude control. Its usage reduces the load factor of an extra fuel tank.","PeriodicalId":13708,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Advanced Nanomaterials & Emerging Engineering Technologies","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84813738","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For studying the effect of Mg doping on particle size and morphology, the prepared samples were characterized by using X-ray diffractometer, and Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM). The optical properties of the samples were investigated by UV-Vis spectroscopy (UV-Vis), and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). The particles size was evaluated using Scherrer's formula from XRD patterns. It was observed from XRD studies that the particles size decreased with increasing Mg concentrations. It is observed from FE-SEM microstructure that the grain size of the samples decreased with increasing Mg doping. The samples exhibited a blue shift in absorption in UV spectra indicating good optical properties.","PeriodicalId":13708,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Advanced Nanomaterials & Emerging Engineering Technologies","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89753276","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The demand of resources and fuels for the technological development is increasing day by day. In order to keep the pace of development high we need to think about some alternate fuel with better efficiency which would help overcome the demand keeping in mind the resources for the future generation. An alternate fuel needs to be developed and researched upon which could help us get greener and better tomorrow. In this paper I would like to highlight upon the usage of Diesel, Castor Oil and Nano Particles for a compression ignition engine and study the performance characteristics of this fuel at different mixing ratios.","PeriodicalId":13708,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Advanced Nanomaterials & Emerging Engineering Technologies","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73181004","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
