The impact of knowledge sharing on team viability and team performance is examined through a longitudinal study involving 74 participants in 23 teams from two countries. Our data analysis shows that knowledge sharing directly increases team viability and performance. In addition, it plays a nuanced moderating role in reducing the negative influence of individualism on team viability and enhancing the positive influence of team viability on performance. This research provides a novel perspective to highlight the importance of knowledge sharing in global virtual teams, which not only makes a theoretical contribution to research on virtual teams but also offers practical guidance in virtual team management.","PeriodicalId":13656,"journal":{"name":"Int. On a micro level, strategic technology priorities of businesses have changed over time, translating to different macro level impact. In this study, the objective is to investigate trends of the economic impact of high-tech industries over time, thereby addressing the variations in high-tech impact. Through an analysis of extensive time series regional economic data on U.S. metropolitan regions, the results show that high-tech industries began to influence regional economic performance at the turn of the millennium, escalating in importance before a decline. The study provides explanations and has implications for theory, policy, and strategic management.","PeriodicalId":13656,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Sociotechnology Knowl. Duvall has experienced a series of discrimination complaints from Asian-American employees related to workplace mistreatment. These complaints relate to a hostile work environment, discrimination in promotions, and employee evaluations. Many of the complaints have been driven by racist attacks against Asian-American employees blaming them for COVID-19. The focus of the study is an exploration of diversity and inclusion in a cybersecurity consulting company. An action research approach used included fact-finding interviews, barrier analysis, company policy assessments, content analysis of the problem in the literature, and recommendations based on the amalgamation of the triangulated data.","PeriodicalId":13656,"journal":{"name":"Int. Non-functional needs, such as the size, quality, and nature of the data, must frequently be taken into account. To develop a generalized machine learning model for any domain, the most relevant features must be chosen because noisy and irrelevant characteristics degrade data mining performance. However, the selection of the dominating features is still dependent on the search technique. When there are a high number of input features, stochastic optimization can be applied to the search space. In this research, we investigate the Ant Lion Optimization (ALO), a nature-inspired algorithm that mimics the hunting process of ant lions and is further stimulated to identify the smallest reducts. We also investigate Rough Set based ant lion optimizer for feature selection. The actual results reveal that the antlion-based rough set reduct selects a better feature subset and classifies them more accurately.","PeriodicalId":13656,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. This research proposes to analyze the sentiments of people regarding digital transactions, Mobile and Internet banking. The explosion of Internet usage and the huge funding initiatives in electronic banking has drawn the attention of researchers towards Internet and mobile banking. This study focuses on customer value perceptions of the Internet and mobile banking in India. The recent and forecasted Digital India scheme shows high growth in e-banking in India. The demographic, attitudinal, and behavioral characteristics of mobile bank users were examined. In this study, datasets obtained from Twitter were used. After extensive and repeated analysis, it is found that both Mobile and Internet banking are well received, the number of positive Tweets, especially regarding mobile banking, is much higher than that of Internet banking. This leads to the interpretation that people find mobile banking easier and safer, especially during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.","PeriodicalId":13656,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. The present study investigated the role of entrepreneurship educational programmes in building startup skills among Indian women. It identified new variables that are significant contributors in building startup skills among women. 215 women from IIMB NCW course have been considered as respondents on the basis of random sampling method. Reliability and Validity of the developed scale has been tested. Linear Regression Model has been applied to investigate the impact of entrepreneurship educational programme on selected constructs. With the literature and empirical support, the study concluded that entrepreneurial persistence, entrepreneurial attitude and economic benefits are the better predictors of entrepreneurship educational programme and it really helped them to build start up skills. This research brings out an original and novel contribution to the entrepreneurship theory.","PeriodicalId":13656,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Sociotechnology Knowl. Therefore, organizations need to develop smarter to plan for several diverse and real-time challenges. The aim of this paper is to test the impact of knowledge management (KM) processes, organizational capabilities (OC), and mediating KM mechanisms and KM technologies toward a smart organization (SO). In this paper, structural equation modeling was applied by using Smart PLS 3.3.3 software to test hypotheses and the accuracy of the suggested model. The results showed a direct impact between all constructs and are a reflection of the SO of the employees (N=225) working in three Jordanian telecommunications companies. Additionally, the outcomes provision the partial mediating role of KM mechanisms and KM technology with OC in the SO. These outcomes can support leaders in generating a consciousness in addition to favorable OC, KM mechanisms, and KM technologies inside the organization, which enables the actual implementation of SO and uses the outcomes to plan their SO strategies.","PeriodicalId":13656,"journal":{"name":"Int. This paper presents findings on the baseline study of COVID-19 and biometric technologies. The study included succinct discussions on biometric technologies prior to and since outbreak of COVID-19 and an online survey involving 2438 randomly selected individuals via questionnaire that centered on the world's economy with daily application of biometric technologies. The questionnaire featured indices on biometric technologies and global security, the rating of each biometric mode in the global security performance scale among others. Analysis of data from the survey established the paradigm shift in biometric applications from contact-based to contact-free since the outbreak of the disease, low risk level between COVID-19 and biometric technologies and diminishing cash flow in biometric market.","PeriodicalId":13656,"journal":{"name":"Int. The quantitative descriptive research design was adopted following purposive sampling in the present research study. The 652 employees from the top, middle and lower level of management in SMEs such as manufacturing and service sector from Northern region of India were examined. The data were collected through a survey questionnaire and analyzed by using structural equation modeling. The findings of the research study explain the significant direct impact of leader-member exchange on organizational sustainability in Indian SMEs. The indirect relationship shows significant partial mediation effect of nepotism and employee loyalty between leader-member exchange and organizational sustainability. The obtained findings will assist entrepreneurs, leaders, and managers of SMEs in recognizing the value of family members' contributions to the success of their business.","PeriodicalId":13656,"journal":{"name":"Int.
