Upper limits of 2 · 10<sup>−10</sup>% and 1.2 · 10<sup>−10</sup>% have been set for the fission yields of <sup>7</sup>Be and <sup>32</sup>Si, respectively. Tuck","doi":"10.1016/0020-1650(80)80104-8","DOIUrl":"10.1016/0020-1650(80)80104-8","url":null,"abstract":"<div><p>The electrochemical oxidation of gallium or cobalt in the presence of CH<sub>3</sub>CN + (C<sub>6</sub>H<sub>5</sub>)<sub>3</sub>P + HX (X Cl, Br, I) yields, in a single step, the (C<sub>6</sub>H<sub>5</sub>)<sub>3</sub>PH<sup>+</sup> salts of Ga<sub>2</sub>X<sub>6</sub><sup>2−</sup> (X Cl, Br, I) or CoCl<sub>4</sub><sup>2−</sup> in good crystalline form. X-ray crystallogrpahic studies gave the bond lengths and angles of the cation, and confirmed the presence of the Ga<sub>2</sub>X<sub>6</sub><sup>2−</sup> anion for XCl or I.
