Synthesis and characterization of a new series of (triphenylphosphine)(nitrosyl)(O-alkyl-dithiocarbonate)nickel complexes

Abstract

A new series of (triphenylphosphine)(nitrosyl)(O-alkyl-dithiocarbonate)nickel complexes were synthesized and characterized. The characterization of the complexes was done by elemental analysis and by their spectroscopic data (I.R.,¹H N.M.R. and M.S.). From the spectroscopic study it is deduced that the complexes are four-coordinated and can be considered as pseudo-tetrahedral derivatives of the |Ni(NO)|⁺ unit.
