This may undermine the sustainable development of OHC. The purpose of this research is to identify the determinants of OHC users’ information adoption intention. The results indicated that both information factors and social interaction affect the adoption intention. Information factors include argument quality and source credibility, whereas social interaction includes perceived similarity and familiarity. The results imply that OHC need to ensure information quality and support users’ interaction in order to facilitate their information adoption.","PeriodicalId":13575,"journal":{"name":"Inf. Resour. It has generated new interest and complexities for researchers as well as academicians in higher educational institutions. In this paper, factors influencing the acceptance and usage of IoT in higher educational institutions were developed. Additionally, a model for consenting and using IoT in higher educational institutions was developed. This study laid a foundation for a comprehensive model based on the UTAUT framework. Regression analysis was carried out to obtain the factors that predicts the acceptance and usage of IoT in higher educational institutions. All test results were reliable and valid. The study demonstrates how university administrators can use IoT technologies to improve educational operations and outcomes.","PeriodicalId":13575,"journal":{"name":"Inf. Resour. Manag. This paper, based on a state of art (theoretical and conceptual), analyses how digital transformation could affect the business (strategic)-IT alignment. It aims at providing a renewed framework of business-IT alignment in order to address the potential gaps between existing models and the current concern and future challenges of the digital transformation, in connection with new technologies particularly the development of data. It presents a first attempt to include data issues in business-IT alignment model.","PeriodicalId":13575,"journal":{"name":"Inf. Resour. Manag. When individuals need to prove their education, they rely on their educational institutions to certify their education and learning records. This paper proposes a decentralized, learner-managed education credentialing system based on blockchain, where the learners' credentials are issued once, stored in a distributed system, and the learners have full control over how and who can access their credentials. The authors present the procedures for credential issuance, selective disclosure of an individual's credentials chosen by each learner, and credential verification by a third party. A proof-of-concept smart contract system has been developed to demonstrate the functionality of the proposed framework. The smart contracts are programmed using the Solidity programming language and tested on the Remix IDE. The authors present this simulation of smart contracts to handle entity registration, credential information storage, credential verification, and educational financial transactions.","PeriodicalId":13575,"journal":{"name":"Inf. Yet, due to its novelty, we know little about the users' behavioral responses toward such a disruptive innovation. Through the theoretical perspective of the extended model of occupational stress, this study empirically examines the effects of technostressors on techno-eustress and techno-distress, with the locus of control as a moderator in the context of the metaverse. Data were collected on 134 participants from multiple business schools in France who participated in the e-survey. The authors prefer to approach the metaverse from a user's (consumer's) perspective rather an employee's. Consequently, big tech companies can better understand how their innovative products or services are perceived by their customers, which leads to further enhancements and upgrades.","PeriodicalId":13575,"journal":{"name":"Inf. This study examines the factors influencing digital innovation strategy in organizations and a model for digital innovation strategy in organizations is also developed . Specifically, drawing on data from 450 respondents, the researchers propose that the following variables: organizational IT application portfolio, organizational culture, organizational structure, organizational dynamic capabilities, leadership and ethics predict innovation and strategy in organizations. The researchers found that organizational culture variable contribution was the highest by collectively predicting 78.1% for digital innovation & strategy in organizations. Overall, this study contributes to the literature by providing a model for developing digital innovation strategy in organizations.","PeriodicalId":13575,"journal":{"name":"Inf. Resour. Manag.
