The article provides an overview of the three levels of emotional design - visceral, behavioral, and reflective - and their underlying principles.\u0000Research methods: Deep and comprehensive review of literature from multidiscipline field of studies related to emotional design conducted with retrospective reasoning. The article then provides an overview of various applications of emotional design in product design and visual communication design, including digital interfaces, automotive design, and healthcare. The article concludes by discussing the future directions of emotional design research and its potential impact on the design industry.\u0000Findings: Emotional design is a promising approach to product design and visual communication design that can enhance the user experience by creating an emotional connection between users and products. The three levels of emotional design and various research methodologies can be used to measure emotional responses to design.\u0000Implications: Emotional design has been applied in various industries, and its potential impact on the design industry is significant. The paper examines the use of AI in works of art, with a focus on the methodologies and case studies that demonstrate the potential and challenges of this emerging field.\u0000Research methods: The paper presents case studies of notable artworks that utilize AI, discusses the potential benefits and drawbacks of AI in art, and explores the ethical considerations involved. Through a review of the literature and analysis of six case studies, we explore the aesthetic, technical, and social dimensions of AI-generated art, as well as the ethical and critical debates surrounding its production and reception.\u0000Findings: The paper concludes by emphasizing the importance of critical engagement and continued reflection on the use of AI in art. Our findings suggest that AI can offer new modes of creative expression and engagement, but also raise questions about the role of human agency and interpretation in the artistic process.\u0000Implications: AI-generated art offers new opportunities and challenges for artists, scholars, and audiences, and that future research should focus on developing ethical guidelines, exploring collaborative practices, and examining the social and political implications of AI-based art. Case studies of AI-generated art can help us understand the potentials and limitations of this field by providing specific examples of how AI is being used to create art, and how artists and audiences are engaging with these works. The EDFAT theory, namely entire, detail, frame, angle, and time is applied as the basis for the theory of creation. Cowhide is used as a print medium for the photo essay. The process starts from skin selection, drying, and editing to printing photos on the leather media. \u0000Findings: Makepung is the peak of the joy of the farmers in being grateful for their harvest. Photographic essays in the series photo genre are composed of pure photographic works, into photos with writings that aim to tell the tradition. The meaning implied in it is the friendship between dogs and humans that occurs as a result of the gap in the social life of people in urban environments. The gap is interpreted through the interaction between the character of a scavenger and a dog. The purpose of this study is to analyze the interaction of the characters of a scavenger and a dog to form a story of friendship. \u0000Research methods: This study uses an interpretive qualitative semiotic analysis method. \u0000Findings: The research is centered on studying animation from the area of ??art studies, which specifically studies the meaning in every scene in the Bul animation. The meaning of friendship is created in the animated film Bul through a sign system in the form of icons, indexes, and symbols. The formation of the meaning of friendship can be observed in scenes 4 to scene 9. Friendship or friendship is a term that describes the behavior of cooperation and mutual support between two or more social entities. The meaning of friendship is created in a storyline and interaction between the characters in the animated film Bul, namely the scavengers and the dog. Through friendship, loyalty arises through the character of a dog who does not want to part with his friend (a scavenger). The process of doing work using textile manipulation techniques. Each outfit has a special meaning based on the collected patchwork colors. The traditional concept can be seen from the application of traditional Balinese ornaments, namely keketusan kakul-kakulan as a motif on endek woven fabrics with the airbrush technique.
