In this paper, a DG planning method considering marginal distribution capacity cost (MDCC) is proposed in order to improve utilization efficiency of supply capacity and promote optimal allocation of power resources. Influence of DG as reinforcement alternative on MDCC is considered, and the calculation method of MDCC is proposed to reflect the charges and utilization efficiency of nodal capacity. On this basis, heuristic algorithm to lower MDCC is used to determine the site and capacity of DG. Furthermore, influence of DG on network loss and short circuit current are also considered. And then after the modeling has been established, the transient analysis and fault analysis have been done by using PSCAD in order to confirm the system's stability. Transient stability and static voltage stability restrictions respectively expressed as Practical Dynamic Security Region (PDSR) and Static Voltage Stability Region (SVSR) are considered as constraints in OPF model which takes tree branch angles as optimal variables instead of power injections used in the traditional OPF. According to optimality conditions of OPF and Moore-Penrose generalized inverse matrix, the security prices are determined by spot price decomposition, which can stimulate all of the participants to take an active part in maintaining the system security. The techniques are: the Four-valued Annotated Paraconsistent Logic — 4vAPL and the Case-based Reasoning — CBR. This linking process happens in the manipulation of the functions of belief, disbelief, expertise and temporality of the 4vAPL for the recovery of cases to determine process diagnostics of a CBR. The 4vAPL is the support applied to the problems that present inconsistent, partial, undefined information. The domain of CBR is applied in the restoration of an electrical power substation. As wind power generation is stochastically predictable, a system demand should be expressed to a random variable with its own probability density function (PDF) instead of a constant value in unit commitment (UQ and economic dispatch (ED) problems, etc. Assuming that the produced wind power generation is fully consumed in power systems, total generation distributed to thermal generators, which becomes a modified system load, is equal to the difference between total system demand and total wind power generation. Given that the total wind generation is based on normal distribution, the modified system load should be also based on normal distribution. An embedded Ethernet controller is used as RTU to act as converter for HMI to interact with digital input and output modules. RTU is the master and digital input and output modules are the slaves. RTU will initiate the transaction with the digital input and output modules. Proprietary software is used to develop algorithm for the controller and to develop HMI for monitoring and controlling functions for the operator. The SCADA system software includes software modules such as graphic editor, database setup, alarm configuration, trending tools and communication setup. HMI monitoring system is correctly showing the fault point and generates the correct alarm messages for the operator to be acknowledged. In order to provide a realistic environment, the DTS includes many dynamic models of power plants, such as fossil fuel plant and hydro plants. Power receiving capability on the limitation of short-circuit current is analyzed according to this model. The example of Jinan power grid in China is computed to verify the applicability of this short-circuit current model.
