This study looked into the relationship between CG mechanisms and CG disclosure levels using five listed conventional PCBs as a sample over a five-year period spanning 2016 to 2020. An unweighted disclosure checklist was utilized in this study to measure CG disclosure levels. To determine whether there is any significant relationship between the level of CG disclosure and CG mechanisms, multiple regression analysis has been done. Based on the empirical results, it can be concluded that there is a significant and insignificant association between CG mechanisms and the CG disclosure levels, but there is only a visible and significant difference in these areas between the sample banks. The results of the multiple regression analysis indicate that the log percentage of female directors does not significantly relate to the levels of CG disclosure. On the other hand, the extent of CG disclosure is significantly associated with other variables, including board members, percentage of audit committee members, and percentage of independent directors, log total assets, log total revenues, and log listing age.","PeriodicalId":130992,"journal":{"name":"ABC Journal of Advanced Research","volume":"12 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140426670","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Through the lens of statistics, this study aims to uncover valuable insights into the population dynamics, catch patterns and potential management strategies for these fish species. By analyzing data from \"Jazan's Catch Chronicles,\" from General Administration of Fisheries Resources (Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture) -the Statistical Yearbook 2022-, we employ statistical methods to extract meaningful patterns from the data and answer critical questions. This knowledge can then inform fisheries management practices, ensuring the long-term sustainability of these valuable resources. The findings suggest that the diversity of the catch may have increased slightly over the study period. The number of species with a catch of more than 100 tonnes increased from 5 in 2017 to 7 in 2022. The number of species with a catch of more than 10 tonnes also increased from 14 in 2017 to 17 in 2022. However, further statistical analysis, such as a chi-squared test, is needed to determine if this difference is statistically significant. The study also highlights the importance of balancing data disclosure with species conservation. While detailed location data can be valuable for scientific research, it can also pose threats to endangered species. In the case of the IUCN-listed Cheilinus undulatus (humphead wrasse), a decision tree approach was employed to weigh the risks and rewards of disclosing location data. Considering the species' endangered status and declining population, the study recommends restricting data by masking species IDs and areas or restricting information by publishing high-resolution habitat maps without specific location details. This approach helps balance the need for scientific knowledge with protecting vulnerable species. Overall, this study sheds light on the dynamics of fish populations in the Red Sea, emphasizing the need for sustainable management practices and responsible data handling to ensure the long-term health of these vital marine resources.","PeriodicalId":130992,"journal":{"name":"ABC Journal of Advanced Research","volume":"43 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140432580","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Crowdfunding is an essential part of project finance right now. Many people are intrigued about how crowdfunding works and how it may help start new businesses. Still, there is a lack of understanding and expertise on how crowdsourcing works and how it may assist these new initiatives to be successful. The most challenging task is obtaining financial support before establishing an entrepreneurial or creative venture. If the developer lacks links to venture capitalists or banks and a solid financial track record or commitment, they may have trouble getting project funding. This article explains crowdsourcing, a new kind of finance for company owners and project creators. According to this survey, the industry is not mainly established. Instead, it outlines CF's qualities and critical players. Crowdfunding enables a creative or patronage concept to be realized by collecting finances from many people online. Crowdfunding may be the answer for businesses or creatives that need resources. Research has uncovered many crowdsourcing business concepts and finance sources. We used empirical data to evaluate how it would assist capital deficit units and the strategy's merits and downsides from the founders, funders, and platform perspectives.","PeriodicalId":130992,"journal":{"name":"ABC Journal of Advanced Research","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126918882","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article is shaped entirely by qualitative and secondary data based. However, Bangladesh has achieved tremendous success in the readymade garment sector. Readymade garment sectors are altogether dependent on male and female workers who are contributing to the nation as well as to the sectors. Nevertheless, due to the outbreak of the CORONA virus in 2020, Bangladesh is facing a pandemic situation that makes the workers more vulnerable. They are suffering difficulties in many forms, including layoff, closed or reduced remuneration, factory shutdown, congested working settings, prolonged working hours and overtime, unsecured workplace, lack of protective measures, lack of rehabilitating supports, delay of their children's education, traumatic and fearful environment of worker's children, and insufficient health facilities for them. Moreover, the pandemic is hampering the activities of apparel workers, and other informal workers such as rickshaws and van pullers, agriculturists, construction laborers, hawkers, rag pickers, transport workers, and part-time domestic employees are all examples of part-time domestic workers. They are the most vulnerable segment of the CORONA pandemic situation in Bangladesh. As a result, they cannot afford the necessities of family members, including daily food, education, nutrition, and health, due to low income.","PeriodicalId":130992,"journal":{"name":"ABC Journal of Advanced Research","volume":"73 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130131308","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although fewer studies show that innovative entrepreneurship is more than creating an enterprise, a destructive process is an impetus in achieving economic Sustainability amid business uncertainties. To this end, this study empirically examines the impact of innovative entrepreneurship on economic Sustainability in the selected private universities in Nigeria during the Pre and Post COVID-19 era. Five private universities in Nigeria were selected from the four phases of private universities in Nigeria since the deregulation of university education in 1999. In addition, descriptive statistics results from the last five Universities Webometrics rankings found that Covenant University only had a persistent economic sustainable trend between 2016 to 2019, while all the selected private universities except Covenant University were not remarkable in economic Sustainability amid the post-COVID-19 era between 2019 and 2020 in this study. To this end, the study concluded that before COVID-19, most selected private universities failed to display innovative entrepreneurship vis-à-vis lecturers to students teaching ratio, routine teaching methods, stagnated learning techniques, limited sectoral competitions, presence rank, impact rank, openness rank, excellence rank, and among others. Therefore, establishing a university is entrepreneurship but will not guarantee economic Sustainability if not driven by evolutionary innovation amid the post-COVID-19 and beyond uncertainties. Thus, the study recommends all stakeholders, including the University management, staff members, and the government, to be evolutionary in their mindset to achieving economic Sustainability amid COVID-19 and beyond among Nigerian private universities.","PeriodicalId":130992,"journal":{"name":"ABC Journal of Advanced Research","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123636458","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A thorough and well-structured questionnaire based on the seven Point Likert scale was developed for primary data collection. A straightforward random sample process was used to choose 295 participants in total for the study. A multivariate analytic method like \"Factor Analysis\" was utilized to pinpoint the variables. Scale reliability was determined using Cronbach's alpha. The investigation shows that the constructs are very stable and internally consistent. Most observed variables had Cronbach's alpha values between 0.6 and 0.7. The study also demonstrates the substantial correlation between kids' entertainment and satisfaction. On the other hand, the quantity of rides strongly inversely correlates with enjoyment. According to the result of the study, aspects like more expansive Space and variety of foods, cleanliness and security, entertainment, and visitors are all crucial when deciding whether or not to visit Shopnopuri Park. Finally, 39 factors influence visitor satisfaction. First, the outcomes would improve Shopnopuri park's performance and tourist services, leading to increased satisfaction for both domestic and foreign visitors. It is simpler to persuade readers when a management or engineer reports connected difficulties with objective statistical data. Statistical data support the evaluation of the true status, and cause and effect can be induced. The rationale is proven using deductive logic and statistical data verification and induction. Quality practitioners should develop statistical thinking skills and fully grasp the three quality principles: “essence of substance,” “process of business,” and “psychology.” Traditional quality data include variables, attributes, faults, internal and external failure costs, etc., obtained by data collection, data processing, statistical analysis, root cause analysis, etc. Quality practitioners used to rely on these so-called professional qualities to get a job. If quality practitioners do not keep up with the steps of times, quality data collection, organization, analysis, and monitoring will be confusing or challenging. Increasingly, precision tool machines are embedded in various IoTs, gathering machine operation data, component diagnostic and life estimation, consumables monitoring and utilization monitoring, and various data analyses. Data mining and forecasting have steadily been combined into Data Science, which is the future of quality field worth worrying about.","PeriodicalId":130992,"journal":{"name":"ABC Journal of Advanced Research","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131272288","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Doctors and nurses are always on the frontline in hospitals, vaulting from one stressful high-stakes situation to the next. The HEXACO model of personality traits: Honesty-humility, Emotionality, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, and Openness, has long been hypothesized to be a major predicting factor when determining individuals' responses to stress and susceptibility to experiencing depression. Most research suggests that personality traits resonate with a person's cognitive abilities and how they can deal with stress and depression. However, there is a lack of research on their correlation to depression severity in the Middle East. The current study aimed to investigate the impact of HEXACO personality traits and socio-demographic factors on depression amongst doctors and nurses. A sample of 170 doctors and nurses (62.1% doctors) completed HEXACO-60 and PHQ-9 depression severity questionnaires. The data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, ANOVA, correlation, and regression analysis. The findings showed that Honesty-humility was the strongest predictor, while extraversion was the second strongest. Emotionality had the least impact on depression. The relationship between Agreeableness and Openness to Experience with depression was insignificant. However, gender, age, working hours, and work experience were significant predictors of depression. Marital status and level of specialization were insignificant predictors. Thus, it was concluded that not all HEXACO traits and socio-demographics predict depression. Study findings could be utilized in the implementation of employee recruitment, job crafting, positive psychology, and coaching.","PeriodicalId":130992,"journal":{"name":"ABC Journal of Advanced Research","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134284808","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Dictionary-based machine translation, computer-aided translation, and neural machine translation with AI as its fundamental technology have progressed. However, NMT with AI has advanced machine translation. Many translation concerns still need to be solved. Language changes with context and dialect. Artificial intelligence will enable systems with adaptive algorithms to collaborate with humans to translate content more efficiently and well. The human translation should be revised, according to some. All in all, human progress fixes faults. Neural networks in machine translation ensure that adaptive frameworks can interpret like human translators. AI still needs help with language training and translation. Given the diversity of linguistic patterns and civilizations, they address clever machines; even with AI, handling human productivity seems unlikely. Machine translation is an important NLP topic that uses computers and adaptive systems to understand standard dialects. Neural machine translation (NMT) has become the standard in real-world MT frameworks. We begin this study with a broad assessment of NMT strategies and discuss architecture, decoding, and data analysis to improve content translation. We then summarize the most helpful expert resources and tools. We conclude with a discussion of future paths.","PeriodicalId":130992,"journal":{"name":"ABC Journal of Advanced Research","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130036022","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
