The design is implemented using MyRIO 1900 and programmed using LabVIEW. The connection between myRIO and computer is wifi network. The image of a person is acquired via webcam connected to MyRIO using USB cable. The face detection system is built based on the template matching, while the face recognition is based on the principle component analysis. The testing is done to examine the performance of the face detection in various change of distance, light intensity, light position angles, person's accessories and shirt colour. The face detection modul has good performance in some conditions as distance between the person and the camera is less than 240 cm, person doesn't use accessories that cover part of face, person doesn't use shirt with colour similar to skin colour, and background colour is difference from skin colour. While the face recognition system has 80% of accuracy when it is tested using realtime image. This procedure is course less effective. In addition, lung specialists may differ in determining pulmonary nodules. The purpose of this research is to classify pulmonary nodules and artery automatically on chest Ct Scan image using Principle Component Analysis (PCA). This study includes 3 steps. The first is lung organ segmentation using Active Appearance Model (AAM). The second step is segmentation of candidate nodules using morphological math. While the last step is classification of pulmonary nodules and artery using Principle Component Analysis method. The output from classification process is image of nodule and artery. To prevent such accidents, it is necessary to create a device that can detect early drowsiness on the driver and immediately wake the driver. From the study it is known that a reliable indicator to measure drowsiness is the average duration of eyelid closure. This paper presents a prototype of drowsiness detection on the driver using a low-cost EMG, called Myoware, which can be used to detect the closure of the eyelid without injuring the eyes, by simply attaching it to the skin around the eyelid. To facilitate this attachment, an eyeglass is used. The scheme employs biological behavioral principles of the life forms. At the principal construct lives the cells having limited resources, yet passively operates with little overhead. The proposed scheme imitates this unicellular characterization to execute one task at a time using First-In-First-Out queue. Execution is regulated by a global clock that permits one active task at any given time in memory. Consequently, low overhead memory allocation can be achieved without the need for elaborate scheduling and other supporting algorithms. The most anticipatory benefit is simplicity that permits straightforward technological transfer of the proposed scheme to hardware. One of the industries that utilize LED is automotive industry. LEDs are claimed to be more efficient and durable. On vehicles with LED as light sources are used for increasing the level of lighting and expand the radiation pattern. For efficiency, the radiation pattern of LED can be controlled based on the direction of the vehicle. In this research, LED lights are controlled based on vehicle direction. The main purpose of this research is the reduction of power consumption to support green technology application. The sensor on steer of the vehicle is used triggering to the main controller unit to make decisions in adjusting the LED intensity. The control algorithm based fuzzy logic was implemented on Altera DE-0 Nano FPGA. The concept of network coding is used for bandwidth efficiency and increased throughput. In this research, we used the simulation method to generate system performance. This necessity is more pertinent in developing countries that are technologically lagging behind their developed counterparts. This paper analyses the teaching modalities and models used to teach embedded device theory. A new triumvirate (or three person group) hybrid blended learning model is proposed and used to instruct mid-level students in the Electrical and Information Engineering Department of the University of Nairobi; on two embedded device types: a custom board using an AVR Atmega88A series micro-controller and the Raspberry Pi single-board computer. Student circuit design ability and programming confidence prior and subsequent to the proposed method were used to assess the efficacy of the triumvirate model. The fundus is the inner surface of the eye, which lies contrary to the lens. The results of eye fundus shooting can be used to diagnose abnormalities that occur in the eye. Artificial neural networks and fuzzy systems are methods that can be used in the classification process. In this research used Levenberg-Marquardt (LM), adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS), and fuzzy learning vector quantization (FLVQ) method in ANFIS clustering process for classification of retinal abdominal eye disease, Age-Related Macular Degeneration, and normal, with an input of energy coefficient, resulting from wavelet transformation process. There are two protocol relay techniques on cooperative communication system, namely amplify and forward (AF) and decode and forward (DF). Hybrid relay selection (HRS) is a combination of AF and DF protocols where the relay will select one protocol using hybrid relay selection technique. If the information submitted is true, then the relay node will choose to send information with the DF protocol or vice versa. In this research, we performed performance simulation from Hybrid relay protocol on cooperative communication system using AF relay protocol, DF, and hybrid with Selection Combining (SC) technique. The parameter used as system performance is bit error rate (BER). The performance of the system is evaluated on direct path, multi-hop AF, multi-hop DF and Hybrid Relay Selection. Based on the simulation results showed that hybrid relay selection in cooperative communications system produced the best performance among other system. Media promotion is still limited, so sometimes customers are difficult to get information about Petshop and the existence of the nearest location. To overcome the problem is designed an application OPet's (Online Petshop). This application is used as a promotional container for all Petshop in Tangerang, the future will be developed to be in use throughout Indonesia to make it easier for pet owners to get information about Petshop. This application can be one of the positive things because it can foster a sense of spirit to keep pets. In the process of development carried out several activities, among others, to observe the activities that occurred in 50 Petshop, interviewing Petshop, and 40 visiting customers to find out what barriers occur. The OPet application provides 3 types of services to choose from: Pet's Shopping where customers can shop; OPet Grooming where customers can perform grooming; Opet Hotel where customers can leave their pets.
