Moreover, an IT service catalog also shows how IT services are technically realized. When implementing an IT service catalog as part of the IT service management, firms often struggle with service catalog implementation projects as it requires portfolio-wide information and knowledge about service design, service operations, the customers' use of services, service level agreements and service costing. There is a lack of existing literature on how to design an IT service catalog to fit the individual context and service offerings of companies. This concise paper proposes an approach based on design science for defining the initial design requirements for IT service catalogs. Using this approach in practice resulted in the identification and scoping of the design objectives of IT service catalogs to the needs of individual firms. Moreover, the explorative knowledge on how to design an IT service catalog has been validated by following rigorous research guidelines set out by the design science research method.","PeriodicalId":130225,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE World Congress on Services (SERVICES)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116860018","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This clarity diminishes the time for establishing collaborations and facilitates tasks execution. However, current governance rules are usually more implicit than explicit and often are subject to timeconsuming negotiation before a new collaboration starts. The concept of Industry 4.0 demands higher levels of dynamism; therefore, we present the importance of governance rules in such digital marketplaces. In this short paper, we lay out the foundation for enabling the explicit definition and enforcement of governance rules by proposing a specialized Abstract Syntax Metamodel for specifying governance rules. With such a model, we aim to aid demand-driven production and logistics service collaborations between suppliers towards enabling a quicker and more predictable creation and execution of the tasks involved.","PeriodicalId":130225,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE World Congress on Services (SERVICES)","volume":"6 21","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120863545","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The new metric is a linear combination of user engagement time-series metrics, accounting for the largest amount of the variance in usage data via principal component analysis (PCA). Our proposed approach has been applied to 1533651 behavioral data records of The Weather Company (TWC) IOS users, to analyze the influence of an app update that occurred during the time interval of data collection. Our results indicate that the time-dependent fluctuations of the MAUE trends for the epochs before and after the app update are characterized with a power-law decrease, where a faster decrease is observed for the time period after app update and indicates a higher MAUE score for this time period.","PeriodicalId":130225,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE World Congress on Services (SERVICES)","volume":"89 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130782049","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In our previous work, we described LRA (Linked REST APIs) [1], a middleware that enables the automatic composition of REST APIs. Although this automation represents a great opportunity to systematize and improve the quality of the process of using Web APIs, LRA's reliance on SPARQL as the user-interaction model may hinder its adoption. Hence, based upon previous work on Linked Data query systems, in this paper we present a tool that takes advantage of the emergent schema of Web API descriptions, in order to simplify the formulation of LRA-compliant queries.","PeriodicalId":130225,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE World Congress on Services (SERVICES)","volume":"76 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133596924","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

GDPR mandates that organizations collecting and processing information related to EU citizens adhere to its articles irrespective of where they are located or where the data is stored. This regulation is currently available only in the textual format and so requires significant manual effort to ensure its compliance. We have developed a semantically rich Ontology (or knowledge graph) to represent the rules and regulations mandated for both the cloud data consumers and providers by EU GDPR. In the Ontology, we have identified the different roles and their corresponding obligations under the GDPR articles. This knowledge graph, that is available in public domain, is machine processable and will help in automating EU GDPR regulation compliance.","PeriodicalId":130225,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE World Congress on Services (SERVICES)","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114095469","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
