According to model calculations the total stock of saffron cod in 2020 amounted to 163,8 thousand tons. The analysis of the Danish seine catches showed that saffron cod forms commercial concentrations mainly in the Litke Strait and the Gulf of Corfu. In 2010-2020 the total catch of the saffron cod ranged from 4,3 to 14,5 thousand tons averaging 8,5 thousand tons. The most effective fishing by Danish seine is carried out in September and October with average catches of 9,1 and 11,5 tons per day respectively.","PeriodicalId":129863,"journal":{"name":"Problems of fisheries","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125859783","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has been established that under conditions of RAS, females with bicyclic spawning can produce the same full-fledged reproductive products of high fish-breeding quality, as well as producers with a normal sexual cycle. It has been suggested that maturation every six months of only a part of females indicates the genetic predetermination of individual fish to the appearance of this feature. The breeding of domestic breeds of rainbow trout with bicyclic spawning will also greatly contribute to the realization of the biological potential of this species and open up new prospects for trout breeding in Russia.","PeriodicalId":129863,"journal":{"name":"Problems of fisheries","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130341430","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is noted how effective the management of a fish farm can become if there is access to new information that would have gone unnoticed without the use of artificial intelligence. Taking into account the fact that the pace of development of aquaculture in Russia is very insignificant and significantly lags behind foreign analogues, and also taking into account the active processes of digitalization of all spheres of the economy in our country, it seems that a review of foreign practice of using AI in aquaculture will further create its own resource base in the direction of AI for the agro-industrial sector.","PeriodicalId":129863,"journal":{"name":"Problems of fisheries","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124339245","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the 1940s and 60s, it was one of the main objects of coastal fishing in the Mezen Bay and the Czech Bay with a result of up to 830 tons/year. In the 1970s and 1990s, intensive marine fishing was conducted in the Barents Sea with maximum catches of over 4 thousand tons/year. In 1978–2017, the stock was estimated in the range of 1,5–50 thousand tons, higher estimates relate to mixed clusters of multi-vertebral and low-vertebral herring. The current state of the stock is consistently good, at the level of 25–27 thousand, but fishing is conducted by local residents exclusively for personal consumption. As an object of specialized fishing, the Chosa herring remains unclaimed.","PeriodicalId":129863,"journal":{"name":"Problems of fisheries","volume":"130 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123074959","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Such devices are promising for use due to their relatively low cost, ease of deployment and application. Experimental procedures were carried out from May 11 to June 9 in the Kruglaya and Tungusskaya bays (the northern part of the Okhotsk Sea) during the period of herring spawning. With the help of underwater robots, spawning grounds should be surveyed by short point diving and short transects. Series of screenshots of bottom, recorded on a mobile device, could be georeferenced automatically. The work should be accompanied by the recording of tracks, station coordinates and other attribute data in a mobile geographic information system (GIS). Unmanned flights over spawning grounds must be carried out in the mode of automatic linear and polygon missions or manually. For the orthophotos production, the optimal height is 150 m with a forward overlap of images no less than 80% and a side overlap no less than 50% (no less than 20% in case of very good bottom visibility and survey conditions). During harsh survey conditions, zigzag flights over spawning grounds at a height of 50 m are preferred with shooting a series of photographs without intersection and no orthophotos production. The materials of underwater and unmanned surveys, integrated into the desktop GIS, provide high accuracy and efficiency in estimating the area of spawning grounds, the maximum degree of documentation and verifiability of the obtained materials.","PeriodicalId":129863,"journal":{"name":"Problems of fisheries","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131748241","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
